Music/RadioRe: For Lovers Of Rock Music Only! by Rocktation(f): 2:57pm On May 07, 2010
Trust me Amya, i don't joke a lot. From Alaba, i've gotten albums from Marilyn Manson, Meatloaf, Rammstein, Mercy Me, Korn, Creed, Black Sabath, Ryan Cabrera, Owl City, Daniel Powter, Radiohead, One Republic, Foo Fighters, LP, The Offspring, Michelle Branch, Matchbox 20, Scorpion and many many many more i can't finish listing today. Not to mention the great collections of mixed artists i've got. I download more than i buy actually but sometimes, i just feel good about promoting piracy.
Music/RadioRe: What's Your Favorite Rock Band? by Rocktation(f): 2:18am On May 07, 2010
Boy you passed the wrong joint! I'm HEAVY through and through and i only listen to other genres for the sake of fulfilling all righteousness. I will never ever ever get enough of System of a down, Avenge Sevenfold, Rise against, Chivelle, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack, 30 secs to Mars and Finger eleven. For punk, i lovvve Simple plan. For grunge - Nirvana, Nickelback and Daughtry (i'm really loving this baldy right now). For gothic - Just Meatloaf (Don't even want to hear Amy Lee). For Indie - White Stripes. For rockabilly - Rascal flatts & Gavin Degraw. For emo - My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy. For opera, i've ears for Nightwish only. Whenever i'm sober enough, i give room for christian bands like Switchfoot, Mercy me and Flyleaf. Don't even need to mention names for alternative. Cos it's like this genre's created specially for convincing non-rockbuffs that rock is great. So i guess all the bands that do this are great but pathetic for us, real buffs.

I've got large eyes but Desmond Elliot's all they see.

'Supernatural' is the recommended dose. Spectacular series.

Yeah because of the heap of x-rated they got going on, huh? Right.

They don't use the J word all that much because most of them are actually Jews not Christians. Remember, the Jews believe in God but never in Jesus but like you said, man has got to whack sometime. So they go into hiding behind some very christian-like traditions and at the end of the day they'll end up making you think that you actually lovvve 'christian rock' music. Besides, i don't see naught wrong with demonhunter and soilwork rocking together. Even Jesus had to dine with Zaccheus to get him to change his path.

Thank you but we prefer Rick Dees's countdown. Atleast he's giving away free Tom Tom t-shirts now.
TV/MoviesRe: Avatar Sucks! by Rocktation(f): 8:35pm On May 04, 2010
Avatar sucks! Louder please. The movie's just a pathetic tact to rip you guys off (thanks to Alaba Int. market that has made things easier for me). Jake only fancied keeping his monster legs that he had in hand, than hoping to get the ones promised him by his superior in our world. Finito. That's by far the only thing i could relate to in the concept, save the fact that there just might be some greater force out there that bests pastor Chris's.
Music/RadioRe: Who Sang This Fascinating Song? by Rocktation(f): 12:48pm On May 04, 2010
Whenever you don't know the name of a song, as long as it isn't a naija song, go to google and type this - song title or a few of it's lyrics/lyrics e.g sexy chick/lyrics. You can know the title of ALL songs this way and the name of the artists behind them.
Music/RadioRe: For Lovers Of Rock Music Only! by Rocktation(f): 12:21pm On May 04, 2010
@SEVULE - CDs for 3500? You must be punking me. You should have a date with Alaba Int. market. Cds go for exactly 50 bucks over there and you get discounts if you grab as many as 10 cds. The amazing thing's that you get thesame flava there is on those that go for 3500.
Music/RadioRe: For Lovers Of Rock Music Only! by Rocktation(f): 1:06am On May 04, 2010
Don't know how to go about describing and explaining my love for rock music to y'all. I'm obssessed big time with it and my name says it all. Which is not too healthy for a chick, or so my friends tell me. Y'all should catch my naija rock pals on facebook(ROCKSTREAM) sometime. Plus, naija has a marked number of bands whose names're yet to be popular but i did manage to catch one NEO name sometime back and mennn, they rock. Besides, the only kind our naija artists do for now's just alternative rock, which isn't good enough at all. Mistakenly heard someone doing indie rock sometime back but his name slipped. And i wouldn't call Djinee a rockstar. He was only pushing his luck with that 'i no de shame song'.
Music/RadioRe: The Rick Dee's Weekly Top 40 Show On Radio by Rocktation(f):
My mum used to reduce me to tears whenever she called me away from my 96.9. And whenever i was at school, i listened on line. I've been listening to Dees since 99 & can still tell all the end-of-the-year number ones from 2k1 until date. I'm a big time rockbuff now and this countdown's to blame.
