Sounds like a partition problem to me. If you've previously installed Linux on the same machine as you said then it might be that you have installed it on the entire drive which means your HD is formatted to ext2 or ext3 which Windows ain't friends with. I don't understand exactly what you're trying to achieve: maybe you want to a create a Linux & Windows dual boot or replace your Linux with Windows. Either case you'll need to have a free space for the second OS. It's advisable to install Windows before Linux if you're attempting to have two OSs. Here's my suggestion: Case 1: Replace Linux with Windows - First pretend to re-installing Linux. When you get to the disk partitioning stage; - Delete the existing partition and commit the operation to free up the disk space. - Quit the installation process. - Now try installing Windows. Case 2: Linux and Windows Dual Boot - Use a Partitioning (PartitionMagic in Windows) software to create free space for the second OS (Do not format the free space in any way!) - Then install the second OS ensuring that you've selected the OS to be installed on the free space. If you are attempting to create a dual boot situation and you've already installed Linux I'm afraid you might have to perform these two steps (i.e First replace Linux with Windows before installing Linux). |
KennyG:Kenny my brother the gimmicks on this board are too lame to realise it. Funny thing is these lames have never stepped outside the shores of Nigeria let alone spending half of their lives abroad yet they think they know more than someone who is. They read stuffs online, listen to a few stuff on their local media stations, garbled that up with ridiculous local rumours and take these as gospel. What they fail to realize is that most of the stuff they are presented is from the perspective of Nigerians so some level "patriotism" is inevitable. Go through this thread and evidence of these is right in your face. They tell them TuFace came to perform in London and they get things confused thinking he was prolly performing at Wembley Arena or sumpin when the kid was at some local hall in Peckham. And I'm not saying that ain't good but we gotta understand exactly what it means to regard someone as popular International act. Even though I'm Nigerian and spent my early years in Nigeria I am a lover of music although I am strictly a Rap/Hip-Hop stan. But then I love them Congolese music just like you said Kenny. In fact them stuffs, Fela and some "vintage" materials from KSA, Ebenezer Obey are the only things you'll find mixed with my vast collections of largely American Hip-Hop, R'n'B, plus Coldplay and few other Rock materials I dig. And I'm talking 300+ albums albums right from 1984(the year I was born) of Run DMC and the early days Def Jam yet these lames believe they're so deep into this shyt more than everyone else. I have deliberated long on this issue some 3-4 years ago personally because I felt a little weird as I didn't feel stuffs from all these Nigerian want to-bes who think they can do better than the Americans. I even gave some of their stuff to the American audience on a forum just to get a neutral perspective and the feedback was even worse because they can't understand let alone relate to what's being said. The American audience don't even feel materials from UK rappers like Dizzy Rascal, Sway, and Kano (who you can argue should share similar subjects) so how the Bleep they gon' relate to Nigerian stuff huh? Even I don't feel them cats! I've heard respectable American acts like Nas and others giving props to Fela. Damn even Nas sampled Fela's material on the Warrior track on God's Son, Fela shared table with great acts James Brown and Stevie Wonder. I've seen a performance of Baba Maal at the Royal Festival Hall back in 1999(when the first rapper to get a somewhat similar treatment was Jay-Z last year at the Royal Albert hall). Yet people are too confused to recognize the fact that these guys are respected because of the originality they showed in their Music: The Africanism. Being an International act means gaining the attention of people of "different cultures" around the world not gaining the attention of your fellow Nigerian residing abroad. |
That's reportedly possible - Microsoft confirmation: Google Guide(with pictures) Third Party Help Guide(with pictures) About.com Guide Enjoy, |
To my best knowledge you can't if you're using the general yahoo account you signed-up for freely (which I presume is the case!). You can only do that if you have the yahoo premium account that attracts a subscription charge where you'll be given access to their imap/pop and smtp server to configure a third party e-mail client. Free accounts can be accessed on your phone cos yahoo's site is WAP compatible, I guess. I've checked my yahoo mails a couple of times on my previous phone Nokia 6230 in the past when I needed to. |
DVD encoding/decoding plug-in are proprietary products so they do not come pre-installed with Linux. It would be better if you can say which Linux distro you're using cos those using same distro can offer help on your machine. But in any case what you need is the w32codecs, and most likely the libdvdcss2. Once these are installed properly you should be able to use any of your media players (Xine, MPlayer, VLC,, ?) to play DVD. If you use Ubuntu then this should help but note that this is for Ubuntu Edgy in particular. Go to the top of the page for a link to other versions if you do not use Edgy. |
See this is why I don't bother getting into that much discussions on this board. Far too many "Christinos" roaming around the board with the typical Nigerian mentality of "I know more than everyone else. This is the same person who thinks fat Joe, Big Pun, Christina Aguilera, Amerie ain't Americans at all, Shakira, Frankie J, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, much as they love peanut butter sandwich, ain't Americans. This lame even believes the retarded Nigerian rumor that Seal's scarred face was from Yoruba tribal mark, SHFH @ the level of absurdity some ignoramuses can actually believe to be true. This dude even thinks The West = America only. How pathetic! called Craig David a huge success in America when everyone know that punk's success in the States is mediocre at best and he is NOT a king in the UK as twisted as you might have gotten that. And Celine Dion's origin is not a secret. I knew that far back when I was still in Nigeria at the age of 12! As I said I rarely like to engage in music discussions with clowns like yourself who think they're Don on Nairaland so I ain't taking this any further with you. I'm impressed you actually know what wikipedia is. You either don't use it or just have some problem comprehending what is written cos you're tying to read what you want the article to be rather than what was actually written. And please wikipedia is not the alpha and omega of research. Wyclef and Beenie Man collaborates with TuFace and all of a sudden Nigerian music is grabbing media attention all over the western word, yea right! This dude needs to get out of that place to understand how things actually work in the world outside Nigeria. |
I see some of you just can't help being funny . "Do you know that Big Pun and Fat Joe are not Americans at all, ": See I ain't even gonna comment on that. Nas AIN'T Nigerian! As at time of writing Lemar Obika was British. I can't understand why some of you just can't do a little research before posting false claims. I consider someone whatever they say they are but at the same time they gotta prove it. People like Akon, Shakira, and Wyclef ARE Americans. Yes they were born in their respective countries but they all spent the largest part of their lives in land of opportunities. Or do you think they've got Senegalese, Colombian, or Haitian passports? Them mentioning their roots is largely an attempt to widen their fan base both within and outside the shores of America so they can be considered "REAL" and credit to them for that. Again Nigerians CANNOT do rap like Americans. Being a successful rapper or musician is more than running your mouth on the mic. You gotta appeal to the market that matters to your recording company and that's what Nigerian acts cannot do cos they ARE Nigerians (i.e. It's hard for western audience to understand the humor or the subject Nigerian artist). |
Bwa ha ha ha , you clowns crack me up yo! It's like ya'll just so gassed-up in your self-denial to comprehend the question to actually say sumpin' sensible? Do you really think a foreign soul beyond the shores of Africa have a clue who the hell Tuface or take them other lame acts is? Fact is they are ONLY known by Nigerians at home and aliens like myself in a foreign country.Get real people, Sade Adu ain't Nigerian. The woman is as Nigerian as Senator Barack Obama is Kenyan! SMH. Fela, is quite rightly the only Nigerian artist that had a credible international pedigree, and perhaps them other old heads like KSA and them to a certain degreeThe answer is staring at us in the face. All these gimmicks nowadays is phoney. Everyone is busy trying to make hip-hop and r'n'b, wtf? I mean would you take a bunch Australians or Belgians trying to clone Fela serious? ![]() Nigeria is an African country and the foreign audience would only take interest in us if our music largely exhibited that rather than the current trend of confused people who think they are American hip-hop/r'n'b acts. Why do you think Akon's a success? The first time I heard that guy's first single (Locked Up) with my friends on the radio I was 100% sure the guy had to either be Senegalese or Malian because you could hear that from his voice and singing style. Fela was able to attain his international status because his style was 100% pure African not a want to-be jacked style! You cannot perform hip-hop and r'n'b better than the Americans. Them clowns need to quit all these fake ass bulls**t! Till Nigerian artists quit their folly attempts to be American while neglecting their continent's rich music style no one will be paying attention to them apart from themselves and "locally" restricted audience. Every internationally reputed African artist did so by being African: Baaba Maal, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Salif Keita, Papa Wemba, Miriam Makeba, Youssou Ndour, |
Hey choco, WLC was aiite. Not sure what it's like now but I think it's definately one of the better private colleges out there. As somebody said both richmond and schiller universities are UK campuses of American universities mainly offering degree courses in International MBA and other International "business administration, relation" like programmes, so to speak. In my opinion they could be good for someone in need of a second degree in business related discipline with a strong first degree or past work experience. Again as somebody said, it ain't all about ranking. I know it can be difficult but one just have to aim for a "good" university (whatever the definition of good is! ). Anyway here's a link to Guardian 2006 league table 2006 League Table. I'd say those uniiversities scoring 60/100 or more overall is good in general, but that's just me. In the end your personal situation will probably be the determining factor as it's for most students.Keep your head up, stay positive gurrrl, and put in your best to make something out of your situation. Peace. |
Hey choco, did you just "type" West London College and ACP in your last post? Well here's my story if it helps you in anyway, I was exactly in the same position as you some four years ago. I completed my ACP Advanced Diploma at WLC in 2002, was 18yrs old, and I was just confused about what to do next. From my research and coversations with academics I knew I stood little chance of getting the sort of job would like if I went the WLC-Greenwich route but then I could not afford the exceptionally high University fees of the Uni route, (plus there's chancethey'll say you need to start from year 1 ).In the end I decided to do what I thought was best for my future. I had done well at the Advanced Diploma level with Distinctions and there was a friend of mine who'd completed Advanced Diploma the previous year with the same result who was able to get a second year Direct Entry admission to University of Brunel to continue his studies so I made that my number one criterion. I delayed my progress to Uni by two years till 2004 in order to save enough money to begin my course(you know, did some stupid courses at some college to keep my Visa okay , got two jobs, and stuffs ) plus I was lucky I had age on my side. A friend had advised that most qualifications would only be considered for max. of 2yrs after it was gained for University admssion so 2004 was my targte and deadline, so to speak.(NOTE: This was my case and I wouldn't advise anyone to try it now because things have changed. Visa rules are lot tougher and Universities are more tougher when considering applicants nowadays so if you have the means then I suggest you continue ASAP because gaps wouldn't look good on your CV in the future plus University is MORE DIFFICULT than WLC. I struggled adjusting because I had lost touch with programming and all the likes during my two year hiatus plus there's the pressure of doing well because your marks from second year counts towards your degree!)Anyway I did my research defined my priorities, and shortlited my desired Universities: City, Kent, and Queen Mary. My other criteria were that (1) I could apply for the Year in Indstry, (2) Year in Industry was cheap(different Unis have different policies regarding this, which may or may not have changed over the years), and thant I could reasonably get to my weekend job in London. In the end I cancelled out City because my first and second criteria (they don't encourage international students to apply for Year in Industry, and you had to pay 25% of you normal internationa fees even if you got Year in Industry). I then contacted the admission tutors of both Kent and Queen Mary to enquire if they would consider my application for a second year direct entry stating my qualifications and results (just to be sure where they stood before wasting time/money UCAS if otherwise). Furtunately Kent, which had been the only Uni that met my criteria(plus the Computer Science department was top 20 in the country) responded them and that was it: I ONLY put Kent on my UCAS form and I got an UNCONDITIONAL offer letter from UCAS soon afterwards which was all I sent to Homeoffice as proof of my further education for 3yr Visa I was given to complete my studies. I'm now in my final year and I'm extremely grateful to God for the way things have turned out for me. I secured an Industrial Placement position last year (against all odds ), currently work as an IT consultant as my final year project module, and currently applying for Graduate postions for next year start. Although it cost me a lot and I have a huge debt I'm confident I would meet them after graduating so I don't regret it. I'm fortunate I could get a loan(from home) to do this. I had friends who were in different circumstances and wished they could have done same but either couldn't afford to or just lost interest and motivation to do it due to difficulty they faced, discouragement, and other distractions,In the end it's all about what you make of yourself. A friend of mine completed his degree via the WLC-Greenwich route this summer and I've been helping him build on his interest in Web design. Although he currently work full-time in retail (pays the bills ) he's been getting assessments centres, interviews, and he once had an offer for a Flash Web Designer in Oxford but he turned it down because of personal circumstance. So it's an open field. You just have to do what best for you gurrrl. Stay focused, Peace |
@choco: I think somebody is giving her opinion based on university ranking. Unfortunately it's not a black and white when determining which university is good or not. First off, the list are compiled independtly by private news bodies not by the UK government. There are two list from www.guardian.co.uk and www.timesonline.co.uk and they both use different criteria to compile their lists. And while their list may reflect some similarities there are also notable diferences(e.g. SOAS is 6th on Guardian's and 22nd on Times ). Generally I prefer Guardian's as I think their method of assessment if fairer and well balanced. I personally don't rate times' list cos it rarely changes year-in-year-out and I feel it only cares about the universities for upper class people!(, but that's my opinion)Anyway the other thing to consider is your chosen University's strength and rank at your preferred course. A university may not be ranked high overall but may have world class reputation in certain degree courses. While most of us want to go to a top university some of us may not be able to because we don't have deep pocket, high school result, or just personal preference. If you want to use the league table as a guide then I suggest you also look at the method of assessment used in compiling the tables. There are also lists compiled by other bodies like the National Student Union that are based on student views which you may argue is more reflective as the views are coming from those who were actually at the University. But then one may counter argue that wouldn't an average student of an 'apparently not so great' university likely to be satisfied than an good student of a top 5 university? The point is there are different arguments in favour and against a particular assessment method used to compile these lists. In the end one has to put a lot of things into consideration and best aim for a unniversity in the "medium/good to top class category" both overall and in a chosen degree course. I wouldn't go as far as encouraging people to ask for a refund after registration to a so called "low ranked" university cos the most important factor is what you gained while at university and confidently demonstrating your capabilities. Afterall if these universities weren't good enough then they wouldn't have been given a University from the UK government. It's such a shame that "classism" should exist in an education system, and is pretty much determines peoples' life, ![]() |
Far as I can see you're an IT specialist but your interest and hobby revolves around making music. It's about what you're most passionate about and what you personally want to achieve in life? No one can answer that for you homes. Only you can! |
First off I think we've pretty much peaked with the current technology. The "duo" processor style will perhaps be the new trend because that realises increased performance than a single ultra fast processor. Second, speed is not that important. 1GHz and above is good for most applications, anything at 1.8 and above should comfortably handle future stuff like Vista and the likes. Processor speed is over 1000 times faster than other system components needed to realise any increase in system performance. System speed is determined by different complex set-up and configuration but RAM memory and Cache and important for improved performance. |
No qualms, could try both .com and co.uk. Do you know his university e-mail? |
Word! Or at least I'd be on some other stuff right now, ![]() Anyway is that your e-mail or his e-mail? |
Oh stupid me, his dummy! |
JosBoy, Dude or braod? ![]() |
Okay, not yet a graduate but will be on about 7months. But anyway, 1) WHICH UNIVERSITY DID YOU ATTEND? - University of Kent 2) WHAT SUBJECT DID YOU STUDY? - Computer Science 3) WHICH YEAR DID YOU GRADUATE? - 2007 4) HAVE YOU FOUND A GRADUATE JOB IN YOUR CHOSEN PROFESSION? (EITHER IN NIGERIA OR UK OR ANY COUNTRY) - Spent last year as a placement student and I'm currently applying for graduate job positions for next summer start. Fingers crossed 5) ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE UK GRADUATE JOB MARKET. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HEAR FROM NIGERIAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND ALSO HOME STUDENTS TOO. - I'm a international student and believe me that is least favourable place you can be in term of graduate job prospects because the UK's(and other Western countries') employment law is structured to reflect a peculiar order that would determine employers' preferences. One just has to give it your best and pray for the best. For instance as a Nigerian citizen with limited leave to stay in UK I can't even apply to 90% of the companies I'd like let alone get a consideration or attend their interview. This is because you'll need your employer to obtain a work permit and that isn't appealing for most. It's a tedious, long, bureaucratic process that will cost them money and could easily get them in trouble if they're found on the wrong side of the law - employing people illegally that is - so I don't blame them. Afterrall they could easily get a UK citizen, EU citizen, or at least a foreign citizen with unlimited leave to live and work in the UK instead of you without having to go through that so what the hell? The other thing has to do with high school qualifications. Nigerian qualifications pretty much don't count here because Nigerian educational system does not have an A-Level equivalent stage. A Level is held in high regard and is a benchmark for most companies. These are the main reason most Nigerians here who are graduates in respectable fields work in fast food, supermarkets, security, and care. The UK graduate market is far too competitive to consider them. I mean we're talking about the same market wher you'll find graduates from Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, Warwick, York, Imperial, Queens Belfast,, the list goes on(I've read about a Cambridge graduate who couldn't get a job 12months after graduating!) As I've made clear it's hard for normal UK citizens and even harder for non-permanent residents of an EU member state but it's not impossible. You just have to work hard, get a 2:1 from a good university, do your research, have a well structured plan, be patient, and leave the rest to God. Like I said I was able to get a placement position which is pretty much as hard as getting a graduate job. The important thing is to get into a company and luckily the UK government has a scheme where graduates of selected degree courses(Computer Science is currently one of them!) are allowed to seek and take up employment for upto 12months after graduating. Once you're with a company you can change your "visa" to HSMP or at least since you've been with your employer for some time, know about their business environment, have experience, (and hopefully they are happy with you) they may wish to apply for a work permit for you as that could be a better choice for them than recruiting a new person. |
Yeeeeeeeeeah!!! I see all the females are getting emotional, lmao. ![]() Listen playboy you tha luckiest man on earth: getting MATURED kitten with no string attached is EVERY man's dream. Any man who ain't cool with that is either a girl or homo. Look dawg, smash that kitten for as long both ya'll up for it. Most important thing is you both know you ain't a couple and ya'll got nuthing in common so it's strictly 'business': Bonin' I must say though I wouldn't do it for too long cos it's inevitable to end up having feelings for someone after getting together for some time. So my advice: Get that kitten dawg but close up your emotions and do no more than 5 times! Word up! |
Ubuntu has a GUI interface for installing applications: Synaptic Application Manager Via command line you could use: 1. the default installation manager, apt, (i.e. apt-get install xxxx) where xxxx is the application. 2. dpkg, (if you've got a debian package) 3. From source, (i.e. unpacking and running an installation script or executable) 4. rpm via alien, although you shouldn't generally need to do this |
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I see you reached out for your boyfriend to come help your gay ass out on this one. SHFH @ how homos go about practicing their faggotry in broad daylight on this board without getting checked by the Admin. Disgusting (spits on floor)! Thank God the Government has already placed a ban on ur likes before shyt gets in the public domain, Listen kid don't think imma be on here running my mouth about how much academics I done or act stupid like ur ass and shyt. That ain't my style dunny and shyt is mad retarded. But I still ain't gonna comment on the outcome of the silly research you claimed you done cos there ain't no point educating a stan wannabe e-thug. And oh yea,, whether you like it or not FESTAC will remain the home of MIDDLE CLASS kids who would only ever throw their middle fingers or call someone bytch on an internet forum but never in the streets of Ikeja/Ketu Alapere/Agege/Ojota/Oshodi/Mushin where they would get snuffed like a herb! Just to let you know you may get around with a lame ass alias like "whiteboy" in Nigeria but believe me dawg that shyt would only get stick-up and bleeped-up by ANY ni99a in the gully streets of a US hood. If you ever wish to put your so called "street" skills to test outside the shores of Africa, better loose that homo ass alias of yours, quit running your lips like a girl, and refrain from all your fronting - you'll only end up attracting caps like your hero Pac. Word to tha motha, |
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn! Damn this kid can't just stop throwing more surprise entertainments yo,lmfao Well given that i've already established that u a lil' 14yr old wanna be I'll have to water down my reply, treat you like a brother, and try my best to disenchant ur confused ass from your illusions.First and most important thing, get urself an education quit acting stupid. your still got a future kid and I suggest you make the best of the time you got instead of staring at your computer screen and TV for longer than the ever generous PHCN would normally allow. Second get back to real life kiddo. Quit all you illusions that you a gangsta or sumpin'. You ain't. You're just an internet gangsta. Being an e-thug/e-gangsta/keyboard gangsta/forum gangsta - a WANKSTA is mad laaaaaaaaaaae. Like I said I seen enough characters like yourself over time that this shyt just sounds retarded now. It's played out and bores me to death, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn. Throwing threats on an internet forum? Don't that sound mad retarded to you too? Trust me kid, real gangsta don't know wtf a keyboard is, their business is in the streets where things get grizzy and ugly not on the internet! They don't run their mouth recklessly like yourself or your hero Pac (which is what prolly got his punk ass wasted). On top of that real street ni99as would tell you there's nothing in it. Even they are trying their best to get out of it and make good future for their families. It's even pathetically laughable you tryna claim FESTAC real hood? Ni99a please,GTFOH!!! When we was growing up FESTAC was known as the home of middle class kids! At least yo could've claimed to come from Ajegunle or sumpin' but i guess you've only succeeded at exposing your real self. I've seen the streets in Lagos, UK and US so I think I know what rappers talk about when they say "HOOD". I see u just went online to do some quick research on Pac,lmao I ain't even gonna comment on that cos it appears you understanding of the english need serious improvements. You'll prolly grow out of ur illusions at time pass to realise how useful what an elder like myself (i'm only 22, lmfao ) is saying to you right now. |
LMFAO @ these characters getting mad "homo"tional over message board postings . I think we can all agree that this confused kid who thinks he's white is 14yrs old (he didn't deny this in his last post). Punk ass coming here talking girly, making fake ass threats like anyone actually believes him yo, SMFH. Like i said you been in fron of your computer and Tv for toooooo long kiddo. Step into reality. Shyt ain't new to me though: I come across e-thugs and keyboard gangstas like yourself every now and then that I just feel sorry for your close ones. All I gotta say to ur ass is that you better not go in the streets where things get ugly happens with a gay ass alias like that. Trust me it won't get you no love or cred from street cats. Your idol and hero Pac would advise you the same.(, one down one to go, )Aiite aussie, I see u done walked this earth longer than some people have in their past and present life. What makes Pac real? I bet ya'll gon talk about "Hit em up" and "Hail Mary" and them shyt right? Well ain't those just records? Did u know anyone Pac ever actually shot? All Pac ever did was get shot never the one doing the shooting. Pac went to jail once: for assaulting a FEMALE fan, SMFH! And Pac ain't start shyt. The only thing I'll give Pac credit for is being the best publicist hip-hop has ever produced by making this whole "studio gangsta" shyt very appealing and profitable. Now every rapper that comes out can't get their mouth off how gangsta the are and all that lame shyt. Like 50 came out talk about how he got shot 9 times to boost his sales. I bet cats on here believes that shyt like a gospel. Pac sold 6million albums before his death and 30million so far since his death which is why I said death isprolly the best thing to happen to his ass. Look dawg, I could go on and on but I suggest ya'll do your homework before making lame ass claims like you say. And you already loose some respect for mentioning V***** **E in the same sentence as N.W.A, Ice T, Ice Cube, and BIG. The whole point of my argument is that: "REAL GANGSTA DON'T MAKE GOOD ENTERTAINERS AND GOOD ENTERTAINERS DON'T MAKE REAL GANGSTAS". Stop confusing real street gangstas with studio gansgtas. The only people most rappers ever shot in their lives are those they shoot on records! Pac = GOAT Rap Icon but Pac <> GOAT rapper. |
Roflmao @ all you cock-riders gimmicks on this board. The level of your hip-hop ignorance is pathetic to say the least. Do you actually expect me to take a confused "whiteboy" who thinks Pac's pubic hair is the cure for AIDS serious? What kinda stan spends his whole life composing a poem foe a dead-as-Bleep rapper? You must be either 14yrs old or just spend too much time on the internet or watching TV. I mean this clown ain't even composed a poem for his dead family members and relatives, SHFH! I suggest youget a life lil' one. As for you aussie, your views don't count. You are as irrelevant as your wack ass country of residence. And don't think posing under that screen name is gonna fool me into thinking you a real hip-hop head or earn you some respect from me: I see thru ur ass like you's a glass door. And for the other Pac cock-jockeys who probably believes Pac is alive in Ajegunle: Pac ain't shyt. He was just a marketing tool Suge used to make himself rich! |
Look "Punk"goboi, I ain't one of these cats on here who fall for the gimmicks of the music and media industry. i suggest you do your research, get your facts right and quit doing "follow follow, close you sense gbinringbin" like Fela said. Like i said I like Pac's music but I ain't one of you cats who religiously believe everything an entertainer says on their records. Look at the context: it's all music and entertainment. Don't confuse it with reality. Pac = GOAT Rap Icon, but Pac <> GOAT Rapper. Nuff said |
Bleep Tupac! Ni99a was lame phoney ass punk who got raped in jail and then got financially "raped" by Suge when he got out, lmao . Trust me, I liked dude's music and errthing but that clown runs his mouth too much talking mad greasy and reckless just to boost records sales .Fact is Death was the best thing to ever happen to Pac. True story! |
ROFLMAOOOOOO !!! 50 Cent, Afro Man, Rah Digga, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Twista, Eve, Kanye West top ten lyricist ? Dead!!! WTF's with some of you cats? I swear I'm tired of talking hip-hop on this board. Some of ya'll is lame as BleepReal hip-hop head will tell you top lyricist got to either Rakim (The God) or Nas (God's Son). After them two then you got KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Biggie Smalls, Eminem, Jadakiss, Canibus, Big L, and then the likes of Master Ace, Big Daddy Kane, Big Pun, Immortal Technique, Pac, Jay Z, Prodigy of Mobb Deep(1993-1999), MC Lyte, Guru(Gangstarr), Rass kass, I ain't being corky but here's tha rule: Your top two gotta be either The God or God's Son, the next group in whatever order you choose, and complete your list with them ones in the last group Anything non-compliant list lacks credibility and ain't worth taking serious. Nuff said! Oh yea, that kid Lupe making his way up as well. Hopefully son's gon' be in there somewher after we some more of his works in the coming years |
Didn't ya'll know, Ne-Yo been officially gay since his shawday left him (the girl he said the song "So Sick" was about). Word is, shawday actually dumped him when she found out he was cheating on her WITH A MAN which of course he didn't say clear in the song's lyrics. Wonders shall never end, SMH @ some of you human beings |
Yea,yea, yea, whutver Screw every other country, ,including Nigeria, screw 'em all. USA = G.O.A.T |
Whut? Papoose best rapper?
