NaijaHotGuy: pls guys is it okay to buy an SGN 2 I saw. it has the carrier O2 (I know this cos when i booted it, the O2 logo first came up). will it be possible to root this particular one and is UK USED SGN okay to buy on general (is there sth to look out for). thanksNothing wrong with buying London used. However you cannot be sure about the condition of the battery, you will need to buy accessories like charger and earpiece separate. As for flashing, just make sure you flash roms SPECIFIC to the carrier you bought. It's always better to buy an international version as they are easier to Flash and roms easier to come by. |
check if the contacts backup is in vcf format. If it is, you're in luck. If not, prepare to start typing!!! ![]() |
I bought a 32gig sandisk class 10, ultra 1 for 5k in computer village Ikeja. I use it in my note 2. |
Etesam: Reading the thread takes time, my friend.Asking repeat questions wastes more time. It's also a waste of time for those having to answer the SAME questions over and OVER AGAIN... |
WHY ARE PEOPLE COMING HERE ASKING QUESTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN ANSWERED REPEATEDLY? Read the thread, the answers are all there. Sheesh!!! |

Oahray: Ignorance is the most common 'app' that bricks phones. Many of us install apps without finding out about it, just because we have an internet connection.Very well said... |

I have a 32gb class 10 memory card installed in my phone. Next trick is to figure out how to make the phone see it as internal memory! ![]() |
Great work, 4llerbuntu. Let's not keep it software only sha o. A bit of hardware tips also. Screen protectors, cases, pouches, memory cards and so on. I use the bluff armour protector on my screen. I've put it through a LOT of abuse and it still looks good. I ordered the zero lemon zl9300 battery to. I'll post pics as soon as it arrives. |
Haba, have you even tried reading the post? It's very easy to do. |

Segun agagu: So wat next sir!!You will need to download some files to your pc. I will look for and post links to the original files. Give me a moment. . |
Segun agagu: This is itGood. You are using the 3g international version. Rooting is pretty easy. |
If you are wondering how to do a screen capture, click the link below. www.allaboutgalaxynote.com/3-fast-ways-to-create-screenshot-in-galaxy-note-without-using-any-apps/ If the link doesn't work, copy and paste to your browser. |
What you are looking for is model number. Mine is N7105. This is the international 4g lte model. When you confirm this, you then and ONLY THEN look for and flash the one for your SPECIFIC model. |
Before asking for help, are you running international or branded? Take a snapshot of your "about" screen and post it here. I've posted mine as an example.

BADNEAT: Finally succeeded...anybody who needs help should lemme knw...Congrats and Welcome! |

Flashing a custom ROM is a serious affair. PLEASE, make sure you know what you are doing first. Confirm you are using an ORIGINAL Samsung Galaxy note 2. Someone on nairaland tried to sell me a China copy! Also, you will need to know if it's an international version or branded (sprint, AT&T, T Mobile). Visit xda-developers for further info... |
opisco01: do I av to use droid vpn for this? No, you don't. Just load N1200 and send BSM to 440 and you are good to go! |
Research in Motion, owners of blackberry, have put their company up for sale. Blackberry is fast going the way of Symbian. |
opisco01: fellow note 2 owners hw do u browse cheaply on ur phone? oriste: Please etisalat is killing ohBoth of you should load airtels black berry plan. 1gb for N1200. That's what I use and I'm doing all right. |

Taiw: Note one owners like us nko.Note 1 owners too are welcome to contribute. |
Rooting is fairly easy to do. I did mine in under 5 minutes. Sites like xda-developers is a good place to start. People mess up their devices when they rush into it before proper study. I rooted my htc desire s almost three years ago now and its still working fine. I've also helped people do theirs. No big. |
Wow! It's good to get such a rich following! Personally I don't know how I managed without this phone. My phone is a games console, e-book reader, social media hub and with my soon to arrive zl9300 battery, a complete power house. Nothing compares to the SGN2. So, lets talk apps, games, launchers, ROMS and all other things that makes this device so sweet. . . |
Loving my SGN2 phone. I know I'm not the only one so let's meet here and talk tips tricks and all else |
Lots of good input. I would like to suggest that posters include phone model and launcher type when posting. |

Read the thread, the answers are all there. Sheesh!!!
