Rooting was the best thing I did to my phone. I do things with my phone I never knew were possible. I have some amazing apps installed. Not to talk about the GIGABYTES of games I have. Android rocks and HTC just makes it SOO much more fun! |

I feel you. I've had the HTC Desire S for about 6 months now and I must say, it is the best thing to happen to Telecoms! I was using a symbian device before then and there is just no comparison. Android ROCKS! |

Before you buy a phone you need to ask yourself what you'll be doing with it. If it's just to say hello then just buy a regular nokia or something. Smartphone do a lot of work. Keep your emails up to date, check facebook and twitter and all sorts of other stuff. My android phone is my second computer, so to each his/her own. |

To the best of my knowledge and from a very reliable source working with airtel, only post paid subscribers and data card owners are activated by default. If you call CC they will just give you the run around. Some people are lucky and their SIM comes provisioned. I had to get someone provision mine for me after calling for more than a year! |

The easiest way: Since you already have your cert and key, download HelloX 2.3 and sin it with your c&k. Don't download any signed versions as they will not work on your phone. Install the signed app and your good to go. Contact me if you need more help. |
