Governments don't pay less privilege upkeep anywhere , what governments do is provide social safety nets besides people are suposed to give birth to the number of children they can take care of. No child is supposed to be subjected to any form of labour until they are matured.

What I expect you to do is show that the roads in Abuja was constructed by FG not by FCDA which have its own provisions for roads and infrastructure in its budget. the fact that the president inaugurated it does not mean it's FG road remember the president dtays in Abuja and most roads in Abuja is constructed by FCDA. I know the FG controlls abj afterall it is yhe federal capital territory byt its budget is different from federal governments . The fact still remains there has not been any road project started and completed by PDP led FG. Don't include state roads as FCT is like a state.

I don't know if I'm not well informed but despite the fact that information gathering is an important part of my life, I'm yet to come across any message from the Federal Government condemning in "strong" terms these murderous herdsmen. When I saw the pictures that tell a million stories of the gory tales which were the lots of the Agatu people over the past week, I couldn't but mourn heavily inside of me. I hate no Nigerian people but I dislike some. President Muhammadu Buhari needs to stop his hypocrisy and be a real man. Talking about insurgency in the northeast, he's ever ready to hang it on the effects of climate change in the Lake Chad Basin. Now to the murderous Fulani herdsmen, the rhetoric of the president has always been to blame it on climate change, desertification and the likes.

We are now being given the impression that Fulanis are sacred cows and are untouchable. Thousands have been killed since the advent of this government and I'm not sure up to 10 Fulanis have been brought to justice (correct me with facts if I'm wrong). Ese Oruru was abducted and with various reports pieced together, the abductor had the blessing of traditional rulers and village heads and the law enforcement agents watched on helplessly while the guy paraded his war booty around the village.

Everything the Buhari government has done so far is to provide jejune knuckle-dragging excuses for herdsmen-farmers clash around the country. Whenever IPOB protester hit the streets in the east, you see law enforcement agents flexing their muscles and using them as target practice while they become paralysed when Fulanis are on rampage. The FG always comes out to condemn IPOB youths in strong terms while looking for excuses to paper over the animalistic behaviour of the Fulani herdsmen. IPOB protesters are criminals challenging the government while Fulani herdsmen are victims of desertification in the north that is reducing the grazing areas and pushing them southwards. Humanity supercedes ethnicity, we are humans first and foremost and I abhor and hate with passion people that kill fellow human beings with reckless abandon.

My Yoruba brothers are more concerned about Igbos and went berserk with happiness when soldiers and policemen were killing them in the east during protests, I think we've gotten our own share in Mile 12 when soldiers and policemen connived with their northern brothers to wreak havoc and switch the momentum back to their side. When it comes to Yoruba race, I remove political party affiliation totally, my people come first before any political party.

I'm not holding brief for the Igbos although my girlfriend is Igbo, she calls me ofe nmanu and Yoruba person and I reply her every time with "your people wey their pikin they use sliding tackle wake their papa nko? Silly stone eaters." The Igbo man might be insolent, proud, boastful and revel in chest-beating but he's not violent, I prefer him to the murderous and blood-thirsty Hausa-Fulani man.

This response is not to take sides but to put the issues in perspective and try to find solutions . I will start by first saying the federal government has responded to the situation by deploying security personnel to quell the violence and the IG of police is on ground in the state and as it is a commission of enquiry is already sitting. I dont know if the fg issue any statement but its not right to accuse yhe FG of silence or complicity. There is deliberate attempts to link the activities of some fulani herdsmen to the president and his fulani kinsmen , accusing them of ethnic cleansing of communities in order to take over their land , while I will not dabble into the historical perspective of this assertion I will like to point out that just like many laws and rules in Nigeria it is a breakdown of our institutions over the years that lead to this . Years ago it was on the Jos plateau and southern kaduna that was in the news for similar situations but it has gone . In all this two fundental issues are common , the encroachment of grazing reserves by farmers and the rustling of cows. Grazing reserves exist for a purpose and just because the government has not developed it fully doesn't give anyone right to encroach on them. Though it can be argued that it's the criminal elements among some tribes that rustle these cows but some of those communities are complicit in shielding those criminals when found among them . In many instances these criminals murder the herdsmen to steal their cows and sell for peanuts this is where the security agencies have failed as they were unable to arrest there criminals and bring them to justice .The fulanis resort to self help just like many Nigerians who have been let down by those who are suppose to protect them and have to result to defending themselves. Revelations from the panel of enquiry reveals that the agatus or criminals among them have killed over 10000 cows and murdered many herdsmen while the agatus claim the fulanis want to wipe them out and claim their lands. Solution. the fg should as a matter of urgency encourage fulani herdsmen to adopt ranching system and where still possible there should Be grazing reserves just like we have have forest reserves , game reserves etc.

The APC promised social welfare programmes which includes school feeding , vocational training for graduates who will be given allowances while being trained, soft loan for small business owners Corp members who can produce a good business plan , and conditional cash transfer of 5000naira to poorest and vulnerable families, similar to what NAPEP was doing. As per the billboard in your post and other fliers and posters that show something similar came from APC support groups and were doing it without authorization from the party as was explained by Lai Mohammed last year.
In summary the 5000 was never meant for unemployed graduates but poorest and vulnerable families. Graduates undergoing vocational training are going to be paid 10000 .
