This Fulani herdsmen issue will continue at least for some time for reasons very clear to most Nigerians - The Northern elites have their back. The Miyati Allah Association was more frontal in their support for these beasts that will kill in cold blood, even crediting the attack to a reprisal, what is more barbaric.

Having studied the whole issue for sometime now the following were observed.

1. The grazing bill issues - As I write we have at least three different bills to grab your land from you, I mean those from the South and North Central for the benefit of some private business owners.

The question here is, are they going to do same for the Ndigbos and others trading in the North?

Who have advantage over landmass, is it the North with 70% or the South with 20%? The 10% is water!

2. To force the others to submission you attack - This tactics is an old one, you create a scenario of volatility and then put your bargain. Listening to all their arguments one can only conclude that these are all a well thought out strategy.

3. Create a Fulani without border- Just like the did in the whole North, Old Oyo empire I.e kwara State etc. Grab other peoples land and then take over.

4. Arm and subdue - The average Fulani is armed to the teeth and is ready to strike. I saw the way the Agatu youths were on their knees the other day. They understand that their Fulani neighbour can wipe them out in seconds.

Finally, Nigerians youths must prepare for any eventualities as the Buhari government is strongly behind them.

Your no. 4 is wrong. The average fulani is not armed to the teeth. Those Ak47 carrying fulanis are cattle rustlers who used those guns to steal cattle and ensure no one comes to take the rustled cattle away from them . You may say an average fulani carry apart from his stick machetes ,arrow and knives all of which is used to defend him and his cattle against wild animals and thieves which even you will carry were you a fulani man.

Why not ask your president to receive medical treatment in State house medical center that has its budget more than that of all other federal medical institutions combined?
Why not ask your president to quit or at least start granting equal amount of interviews for our local media rather than expecting Nigerians to hear about his plans(that is if he has any) from foreign media?
When you do any of these, then you can ask Goodluck (the hero of African democracy) to spend his money and time where and how it pleases him.

An information reaching me, says that some youth in Amalla village sold a land for 4 million naira yesterday to many Fulani's. This set of Fulani headsmen were the one being chased out of the village of Nimbo, ikpabi Uzu Uwani.

Some villagers in Amalla, and others in Nsuka were angered hearing about the sold land and went straight to the Fulani's new settlement to chase them out.

Presently, the Fulani headsmen have vehemently refused to pack up and go. They are requesting for the payback of their 4 million and an additional 2 million naira before they can pack up and go.

The villagers and other near by villages and town, are presently gathering 6 million naira to pay off the Fulani headsmen so they can go.

Some of the boys who sold the land are no where to be found.

Do you know this scenario is one of the reasons for some of the herdsmen attack? Some communities sell or lease land to fulanis only to later renege on the agreement and seek to drive the fulanis away which results in crisis. Many fulani herdsmen are willing to pay for grazing land but the communities have to protect them against bad elements in those communities who may want to rustle cows or exploit the herdsman failing which the fulanis feeling cheated hire mercenaries to help them right the wrong .

My take is that as a security agent it's unprofessional to come to a place like nairaland and accuse the FG of lying. The security agents because of the peculiar nature of their jobs have different arrangements regarding salaries pensions gratuities different from normal civil/ public servants. Why didn't he come here to rant in the months when security agents got their salaries before other civil servants. Is he doing the work of opposition?
