well it depends on your background in IT,I believe at Masters Level even in the conventional universities, you will concentrate more on complex analysis of IT operations and problems. If you are thinking of practical I would advise you register with the likes of APTECH,NIIT.

I have learnt a lot anyway
Thank you very much u have been helpful. Please with what u have learnt can u transfer it on a practical level. I understand u do courses like web development and networking..with what u learn at noun only ..can someone be able to take up practical jobs in these areas

Just walk into any study centre, for a start you should not spend more than 80k for registration and access to the portal.

You are not buying any book.

Pls is the course up to date with current IT trends. Since IT is practical, is it only theory u do in NOUn. Finally with what u have learnt only, could u do IT jobs. Thank u

Agriculture / Advice Needed: Combining Farming And Corporate Work by ron011: 1:51pm On Jan 21, 2015
Hi, I was having a discussion with a friend some days ago and i decided to bring it here. My friend recently graduated and just got a job. However shes really passionate about farming and would like to go into it. the problem is her job is very time consuming. shes wondering if she can just open a farm and pay people to run it for her while supervising it from time to time. she might have considered going into it full time but is thinking of what people will say considering that she studied accounting from a very good university and shes also female.

so can farming be done well without the owner being there?
other comments and advice are welcome. thanks

Travel / I Am Moving Back ...pls I Need Advice. by ron011: 10:51pm On Jul 27, 2014
I had my first and masters degree in the Uk. However, due to change in visa rules, I cant stay back and would need to move back after completing my masters degree in Sept. I have been told about the job problems in Nigeria, so I am thinking of relocating to the Us or Canada. Recently my school had a talk about internships abroad, and they encouraged students to think about getting experience abroad. I want to ask fellow nairalanders in America or Canada.

1. How easy is it to get jobs over there
2. Do i need to do another degree
3. How easy is it to get residency?
4. For recent graduates in Nigeria, how has the job search been?

By the way my masters is in international business management and I did really well, however I got a 2.2 in my first degree..and that has been a source of worry, concerning moving back and getting work opportunities.
I would like if this is moved to front page, so I can get responses.

Thanks in advance
