tjsadiq: Yes, I am still able to cast from those phones, but not the same version... Guess that the reason Could be a DRM issue, try with an older version of the app. You could transfer from the one that works |

genius43: Get a type C IR Dongle and you have an IR Blaster ready to go. Coming from a RN4x, I thought I couldn't do without infrared but 5 months down now and I haven't missed it one bit. All those devices kuku had their own remotes to begin with. Only thing I miss about it is breaking the news to certain people that it won't work on their phone even if they use xender to collect the app. |

dahgifted: please is there any xiaomi phone quite similar to mi9t with amoled display and without pop up camera? Mi 9 lite. It took me weeks and tons of YouTube reviews to accept that full screen display, pop up camera and SD 730 was a good trade-off for the lack of IR blaster on Mi 9t, still couldn't decide. Finally decided to just grab the next deal for either of them that pops up on the thread store. Mi 9t won, best decision ever, in hindsight. |

Praxtech: Nah! I won't follow that. Unless I get assurance. But certainly I have confirmed that there's something consuming power on the phone rapidly.... From users on miui 11 globally. Mail Xiaomi and tell them about the issue you're having, be sure to mention you're going to switch to Samsung if it's not sorted ASAP, also if it's possible just go to any phone store that sells Samsung phones and have someone take a picture of you admiring one and attach to the mail too. Make it look believable that you're actually going to switch so they know you're serious, sparkles in your eyes and all. They'll send one of their repair jets to your location before the end of the day to get it fixed. Right! Don't forget to include your address. |

I'm sure you didn't tell him all this. You could just look him in the eye next time he criticizes your not coming to church, and tell him how you really feel. Right I am agnostic so I really don't care what anyone thinks of it to be honest, I just find it annoying that the supposed good guys would go around breaking simple rules with relative impunity |

Because I am a law abiding citizen, and the annoying part is the pastor will ask me later why I didn't come if he sees me. Like what are they teaching the younger generation, it's okay to break rules if it doesn't serve your purpose? Even if it means putting people's lives at risk? I just don't understand religion sometimes |

BoluwajiPieters: LOL.
5000 Vs 4000.
The difference is way too much though. At least, RN9S should be able to give 12-13 hours under conditions that should give RN8 9-10 hours. But our sweet RN8 go reach 7/8 hours then pack up!
5000 is my next battery stop... This is a 4000 mAh battery, with an hour of COD Mobile

druxlazu: When you are a terrible and bad human being, you put all the blames on your parent.
Do I need to tell you my story? Maybe I should.
The reason my mother and father doesn't let me out normal and mingle is because of terrible people like you who would instill a mode of thought that could easy turn a child against his parents.
Will you be able to make me hate my parents? No, you never will. In fact, the moment you attempt to do that, I will desert you and if you push me, I will pull the trigger on your brain.
Let me tell what happened as a result of my parents not allowing to go out of their range and being strict.
They groomed the most healthy, mentally strong human being, religious, pious and noble human being and the reason why it happened is because they were true pure Yoruba people who realized that there is ingrained low quality, corrupt behavior or mode of thoughts among the majority of Nigerians except Yoruba and if they did allow me to mingle with this people at the years I was growing to do the right things, I will have being the most corrupt and terrible person.
Yes, people like you are the reason why parents are stricter and never allowed their children to mingle with terrible creatures like you. I'd say they failed to bring you up right with all the supposed strictness, the way you reason is so messed up. |
Family › Re: Why Children Of Strict Parents Turn Out To Be Worse by Ronin1: 5:22pm On May 25, 2020 |
Everyone is just condemning the op or taking her side, goes to show the actual problem with parenting. Most parents make it about themselves, they make up rules that the children must live by or you'll be seen as rebellious or trying to drag the family name in the mud. That's the problem.
People are born with different personalities, even twins tend to have different personalities so trying to raise all your children by the same rigid rules may be counter productive. Parents should instead focus on learning their children's personalities from a young age, their strengths and weaknesses.
Then you'll be able to figure out the best approach for them so no one feels they're being alienated. It's not so cool punishing a child all the time to try and get them to be more like their siblings, maybe they're just not wired the same.
Obviously if you cage a stubborn child growing up, they'll suppress their stubbornness around you and go wild when they get outside. So why not guide them to find a balance, you could even channel it to something positive rather than trying to kill off their personality or rewrite it. |

sajmark: good morning fam. I am facing the temptation to remove/discard my screen guard, because it reduces the beauty and clarity of the phone screen. I am only considering this because my phone uses the Corning gorilla glass 5 (Redmi 7) but I really need first hand experience from guys who have been using their device without screen guard, is the Corning gorilla glass as hard as they advertise? is it really scratch resistant? please advise, to prevent the adventure from ending in tears. The scratch resistance is top notch but don't tempt the gods with the hardness, just invest in a good tempered glass like nillkin, they don't come cheap but the quality is usually great, you almost wouldn't notice any difference. I never use tempered glasses more than a week before throwing it away, most times I just don't bother at all but I've been using this one for two months now and I've never felt like getting rid of it for once |

Deeni131: I saw one youtube video describing how one can add subtitle on localcast but I tried with no success, I don't know if the subtitle need to be in certain format before it can be used on localcast app. This subtitle thing is the exact reason I stopped casting from phone cos I can't do without subtitles, I just transfer it to my laptop and use hdmi, less stress. Even if it's something I can't transfer like football streams, I find it's much easier to mirror through laptop than straight to TV Please mention me if you eventually find a way to add subtitles |

deleson: Guys, I just got 4GB/128GB Redmi Note 8 today.
But I didn't see earpiece in the case.
Is this how Xiaomi package their phones? They're just keeping the price of the phone relatively low by cutting out some unnecessary luxury, or you think those ones that come with earpieces come for free? You pay for those things too Xiaomi phones don't come cheap because they're built with substandard materials, it's cheap because they take a lot less profit from phone sales, about 5% compared to some other big name OEM's that make as much as 30% profit from each unit sold They make the bulk of their profit from phones by selling services like ads, apps, Mi Cloud subscription and the rest, that's why there are ads on MIUI, which you can disable as well with a little digging. So cut them some slack for not including earpiece |
