I love both, but I might just love a nice deep phonetic voice more. It's so damn sexy. |
Nigerians, You can't fire someone from their position without them taking it personal. Dude you were employed by an organisation (in this case a party), if for some reason management feels you are not working up to par and or meeting up with your job description they can fire you. It's their sole prerogative. So all this crying, wailing and talk of decamp abeg swerve jor |
Image123:Dude what are you saying, the govt is for the people so if it fails to see the people there's a problem. If you read my message you would have seen that I didn't mention Buhari, I spoke of his wife, what the f.uck is she doing, self looking for money for her NGO. What is the minister of women affairs doing now that she's back from her medical trip??. That's why we have ministers, the SGF and other prominent appointments so that regardless of the number of groups that march PEACEFULLY they will be granted audience. We are Nigerians let's not defend rubbish |
Where is the first lady,??: where is the minister of women affairs? **shakes head*** Nigeria my country... |
This is great. Political parties in Nigeria shouldn't only wake up doing election. You can't believe we have over 15 parties yet only 2 dominate the news. |
Like he isn't guilty. We only agree on one area, our politicians since independence till date (yes including the current administration) had failed us. This will not stop me from getting the new note 7 ( once I can afford it), and vlisco from Switzerland. I work hard so I should be able to pamper myself and wear quality. For now most made in Nigeria stuff don't have quality control if the govt can assist them with contemporary equipment and SON can do their job and cease all substandard goods from a China, we will achieve more results than all this long grammar you just spilled. . |
We shouldn't comment on a bill we know little about, the details should be published first. That said if the bill is exclusively to revamp the economy I can consider it but if it is to give more power to the president, HELL TO THE NO All the president's power now is exercised by Kyari, any additional power means making Kyari even more powerful. Abeg o if only you guys know the level of nepotism this man is exercising in ministries. |
I love this, other media agencies should follow suit. Anonymous questionnaires is an efficient way of getting public opinion. They should do same for biafra, devaluation and other socio economic decisions we are faced with. The govt. doesn't have to go with the results but at least they know where the masses stand. It serves as a medium of communicating with our public office holders. There is nothing more effective than inclusive government. In other news, I feel Ekiti should be merged back with Ondo and all small states that have very low IGR be merged. Channels please do a poll on this let's see if others share my school of thought. |
Na WA o, so we are no longer free to choose names for our dogs. This is wrong. I don't support the man's actions but still this is a democracy we should have freedom of speech, freedom to air out opinions. Once you shut the masses up we might as well go back to the military era. |
Well though there's a measure of difference you need to add weight else you will just look skinny. |
ojnnaco:Pls pls pls can someone tell this dude and infact most Nigerians that ITS NOT ABOUT THE AGE AT WHICH YOU MARRY. You can get married at sweet 22 and be stuck in a terrible marriage for life, and can marry at 50 be so happy and in love. It aint about the age its about: 1) If you are psychologically mature for marriage 2) If you find the right compatible partner. Gosh |
LadyMercedes:Lol, the best cartoon. Mom had a cow, mom had a chicken, dad was proud he didn't care how... Dose days..... |
Enesi47:What is wrong is wrong, can we stop all this "your sin is greater than mine attitude", honestly it won't take us anywhere. There is extreme poverty in the North, yet the women continue to child bear like its a sport. Now I ain't a Muslim and so not aware of what your holy book says but the orientation most Muslim's have that you child bear until "God" says stop is stupid to say the least. Why have children you cannot cater for, regardless of your religion, you shouldn't bring kids into the world to suffer. That said I wonder why someone as old as the Emir still need fresh pvssy, na WA o. |
Depends on the circumstances surrounding it; you mentioned "lover", which presupposes that I still love the person, well it would hurt and I would probably avoid their circles for a while until I am over it. Though I would be grateful to God that he's just a lover not my husband or fiance. |
Kyari is becoming something else, to the extent he dictates to ministries how they should run their affairs. There's a huge difference between a supervisory function and a dictatorial one, this man dictates and since he nominated most of the ministers, no one questions, they just follow . Last time I checked the ministers report to the SGF not the Chief of Staff. The writer earlier this week was right, one of Buhari's greatest mistake is placing trust over competence. We all want people we can trust but never trade it off for competence. @Mynd44 this is FP worthy,Nigerians need to know who is really steering the ship.. |
Dude dude dude, please spare us this political talk. The major issue Nigerians have with this Administration is it's tribalism and nepotism. Yes there is hunger, and yes people are suffering, but we would have accepted it as a global trend self for the slope-sided appointments, backdoor employment, Kyari's dictatorial impositions, and so on. Prior to the elections, recall how all Nigerians regardless of religious or ethnic affiliations trooped out on mass to support Buhari, aren't you curious as to why the status quo has changed ? |
codemaniacs:Your tribe should be part of who you are, NOT ALL OF WHO YOU ARE. If and when you understand the meaning of that statement, you will understand my initial comment. I just wonder where tribalism will take you.... Lastly, you really need to learn to read, or at least let someone read for you and interpret, i never mentioned anything related to "Middle eastern religion", what does that even mean sef? not aware of any religion by that name... All da best |
Though I ain't a staunch supporter I felt bad for them when I heard the news. I am sure the minister of health is unsettled, if urgent and effective steps aren't taken history will remember his name as the one who took us back. God help him sha. |
Truth be told, PDP already has an image in Nigeria, now while that can be revamped it takes alot of work, Starting with their National Chairman, persons like Bode George already have corrupt histories, the party needs a new face, for all positions. Rebranding, as my dear Dora would call it, takes work, you cannot put forward the same old corrupt faces we know and offer change, we need to see change in your leadership. |
Like seriously ![]() Though i didnt read the entire article but if the headline portrays the crux of it all, then he need some serious flogging.. We are all first defined by our religion, nationality then LASTLY by our region, i.e. Christian, Nigerian then Yoruba. SO as Nigerians we should constructively criticize our leaders when they flop and praise them when they perform. Rubbish.?? If northerners like let them follow this suggestion, 2019 will shock all of una Lastly, Mr. Emir just to be clear, even if as Nigerians we agree that fixing the rot of 16 years will take time, is that why: 1) Mr. President keeps appointing northerners? 2) Is what why Mr. Kyari keeps dictating to ministries how they should run their affairs? 3) Is that why no system has been put in place for managing supplies to IDP in-spite of weekly missing supplies? 4) Is that why you are involuntarily retiring civil servants? 5) Is that why the first lady keeps using our national cake to distribute rice to APC state offices? 6) Is that why no official statement has been released on fulani attacks? 7) Is that why our revenue is to be used to build cattle ranches for hausas? the list is endless..... |
Uni-my slippers cut, right leg and being a shy person couldn't ask anyone for help, so had to diplomatically draw one leg till I got to a shoemaker. Was really awkward and embarrassing. |
Though not a politician, I believe Tunde Bakare would fit the shoes. He has the vigour, knowledge and fearlessness needed. We Nigerians are our own problem, we keep complaining that the older generation has refused to relinquish power to the young , now the OP asked a simple question, gave an open cheque and some adamus are still naming old politicians GEJ, Buhari, Kwankwoso and the likes, even arguing in their defense... O Nigerian youths when will thou wake up... |
Exactly my concern, a correspondent from NTA always accompanies the president and or his wife on all official trips So it looks fishy.. |
Why for f.UK sake is it not covered by NTA Something is definitely fishy |
abbey621:Exactly my thought, if only Trump can stfu, he's the better candidate for the job, but he talks too damn much. For such an exalted position you can't afford to respond to all criticisms and you need to let things go, why why why did he fu.cling say he wasn't ready to endorse Ryan, dude you need him. I hope he learns soon enough, i personally prefer him. |
Hmm, not to sound like doubting Thomas, But if the first lady of any nation visits another country officially should at least their national station cover it. Why hadn't NTA covered it ![]() From the little I know a correspondent from the station usually follows on such official trip. Seriously why are all the pictures taken unorderly, a first lady should be able to confidently stand , FACE THE CAMERA, and snap. I don't believe o. |
Ramon92:He simply made common sense, so any relationship affected by this statement was bound to eventually crash, he just helped speed up the process. Why as a human being (boy or girl) will you not be able to cook? Why as a human being (boy or girl) will you not be able to pray to your God for just 1 hour, 1 simple hour? He didn't say you must do it every day, but that you must have the knowledge and ability to do it if the need arises. So wtf is the problem / |
heskeyw:The problem of most nigerians is their understanding of English. The man of God never said women should always cook, he simple said she should know how to cook. There is a huge difference in the 2, so you saying that a man cooking is sexy is of no relevant and not related. He never said the woman should be the only one cooking, but atleast she should have the knowledge of cooking as a basic prerequisite. I see nothing wrong with his requirements, i don't see why any Christian will marry a partner ( male or female) that cannot pray for at least 1 hour, haba, or even cook. Yet we wonder why marriages continue to crash. |
Gbola5:pls why are you referring to Cersei as Carol and Jamie as Larry, is it something from the books ![]() |
Hmmm, That's why we should all (regardless of political affiliation) pray for Nigerians Economy, decisions like this lead to retrenchment of staff, when you close down a mission all the domestic staff will be laid off, also depending on how the govt handles the situation diplomatic staff from Nigeria might either be sent back home or redeployed, i hope they are redeployed sha. A section caught my attention: "While this is only one solution, the MFA should also carefully examined the consequences of overstaffing at headquarters as a result of the planned rationalization and make other recommendations to address the problem. This may include offering redundant officers redeployment to home ministries or early retirement from service without loss of benefit,” the government said. Damn, i hope it doesn't get to this, no one wants to be retired prematurely. So while the move is welcomed to some extent, as if you cannot financially maintain some missions and Nigeria enjoys no diplomat benefit, then they can be closed down, but systems should be put in place to redeploy all diplomatic staff in those missions to other missions. |
SmartMugu:I laugh because you don't understand how embassies or consulate work. Particularly in a country like US, there are many monthly necessities in terms of bills, for instance Health insurance which is mandatory, will I even say more mandatory that the Air system. Once the finance minister delays or defaults in sending allocation it creates a huge problem, the head there has to now follow their scale of preference and trust me there are many more principal expenditures than the AC. For instance the light, water and other recurrent monthly bills. I am not defending the newyork embassy, I just wanted painting a clearer picture, sometimes when we are not in the system, we criticize, only when we become part of it Do we understand |
