Mynd44:DNA tests conducted by the white Europeans who claim to be Jews? You think the descendants of Abraham were white people from Russia, Poland, Austria, and Germany? These are the present constitution of modern day Israelis. Modern Israeli 'Jews' are 'Jewish' by religious conversion, not by ancestry. They are not in the position to be testing anyone's DNA for something they themselves do not possess. |
oluwaahmed:Using the religion currently popular among a people is no indicator of their ancestry, any more than your current adoption of christianity indicates yours. |
mansakhalifa:Little boy arguing with his elders. Are you aware that the letter 'J' was unused in ancient Hebrew, a silent letter, meaning that the word Judah was pronounced Ouidah or Yuda, meaning that tribe is using the name as it was meant to be spelled? Asking why they practiced 'voodoo' is a silly question. The old testament itself prophesied that the dispersed Hebrews would worship 'other gods' in the places they were dispersed to. |
RedboneSmith:Exactly. If 80% of the people you hang around with are Igbos, why should it surprise you that 80% of the people who mess with you are Igbos? |
America and Hypocrisy are like Bread and Butter. Islamophobia in the United States Islamophobia in the United States can be described as the affective distrust and hostility towards Muslims, Islam, and those perceived as following the religion and or appear as members of the religion and its associative groups. This social aversion and bias is facilitated and perpetuated by violent and uncivilized stereotypes portrayed in various forms of American media networks and political platforms that result in the marginalization, discrimination, and exclusion of the Muslims and Muslim perceived individuals. Media and politicians capitalize on public fear and distrust of Muslims through laws that target Muslims, while the media emphasizes Muslim religious extremism in association with violent activity. Advocacy groups like Center for American Progress explain that this social phenomenon is not new, but rather, has increased its presence in American social and political discourse over the past ten to fifteen years. They cite that several organizations donate large amounts of money to create the "Islamophobia megaphone". CAP defines the megaphone analogy as "a tight network of anti- Muslim, anti- Islam foundations, misinformation experts, validators, grass root organizations, religious rights groups and their allies in the media and in politics" who work together to misrepresent Islam and Muslims in the United States. As a result of this network, Islam is now one of the most stigmatized religions, with only 37 percent of Americans having a favorable opinion of Islam, according to a 2010 ABC News/ Washington Post poll. This biased perception of Islam and Muslims manifests itself into the discrimination of racially perceived Muslims in the law and media, and is conceptually reinforced by the Islamophobia network. A report from the University of California Berkeley and the Council on American–Islamic Relations estimated that $206 million was funded to 33 groups whose primary purpose was "to promote prejudice against, or hatred of, Islam and Muslims" in the United States between 2008 and 2013, with a total of 74 groups contributing to Islamophobia in the United States during that period. This has been referred to as the "Islamophobia industry" by scholars Nathan Lean and John Esposito. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamophobia_in_the_United_States |
StaffofOrayan:I don't support either party. I support Nigerian progress. |
Nigeria's drive to become Africa's manufacturing powerhouse received a major boost recently, as studies showed an expansion in the manufacturing sector in recent months. Nigeria’s manufacturing sector gains momentum in November, first time in 6 months The manufacturing PMI rose to 50.2 points in November from 49.4 points recorded in October and 46.9 in September 2020. The Manufacturing sector gained momentum in November as the manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) rose to 50.2 points, after enduring six months of contraction due to the pandemic induced lockdown. This was disclosed in the latest PMI report, published by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). . . Made in Nigeria - Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Ltd. https://i1.wp.com/winnaijablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Screenshot_20200727-154149.png?fit=720%2C405&ssl=1 ' ' Manufacturing PMI According to the report, the manufacturing PMI rose to 50.2 points in November from 49.4 points recorded in October and 46.9 in September 2020. ...... What this means PMI is a survey that is conducted by the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria and shows the changes in the level of business activities in the current month compared with the preceding month. For each of the indicators measured, this report shows the diffusion index of the responses, which is computed as the percentage of responses with positive change plus half of the percentage of those reporting no change, except for supplier delivery time, which is computed as the percentage of responses with negative change plus half of the percentage of those reporting no change. A composite PMI above 50 points indicates that the manufacturing/non-manufacturing economy is generally expanding. 50 points indicate that there is no change, while a PMI below 50 points indicates that it is generally contracting. The boost in the manufacturing PMI indicates that the Nigerian manufacturing sector is recovering from the effects of the lockdown, which saw many businesses halt operations and value chains disrupted. Nigeria will hope to recover completely as it moves to turn around an impending economic recession. https://nairametrics.com/2020/11/18/nigerias-manufacturing-sector-gains-momentum-in-november-first-time-in-6-months/ |
Aconomist:Watch the video that pains you so much, one more time. The world LOVES Nigeria. What a jobless, worthless loafer like you thinks is INCONSEQUENTIAL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wDmFYKCdHQ |
StaffofOrayan:Stop talking rubbish about Singapore and China, places where you would be shot for saying 1/10th of the stuff you say in Nigeria. When the Chinese middle class were forced to ride in bicycles to work 2 decades ago, how many had the guts to raise any complaint or attack the govt? The repression in Singapore leading up to their development and beyond, could you tolerate it in Nigeria without screaming ''dictatorship, failed state!'' on twitter? They have worsened in their freedom of expression laws, with unwarranted online criticism of their govt and nation being made crimes: https://www.hrw.org/world-report/2020/country-chapters/singapore Every country is looking to protect its image in order not to repel investors and tourists. Shouting from the rooftops that you are the worst place on earth only becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, leading to your extinction. The fact is you and your fellow cry babies are mosquito brains who think the world gives a hoot about your complaints. They just find you boring and idiotic, and move on to people who believe they have something to offer. But you and most Northerners enjoy living in denial, what you are suggesting is called "suffering and smiling" and we have been doing it for decadesYou're a liar. You've NEVER smiled. All you and your parents and millions of others have EVER done is COMPLAIN and MOAN. That is why even when you read good news about Nigeria, you reflexively turn it to bad news, or simply ignore it, because you've been conditioned to hate the country. I don't know how lying to the world that there is electricity or good roads or we are experiencing a booming economy would benefit anyone but the lazy politicians who can't wait to visit working countries,The call is to USE YOR BRAIN and acknowledge that you are a developing country, just like 80% of nations on earth, who have those exact same problems you listed, but do not go online to trash their country daily!!! |
OnyeOhuu:When India officially had more poor people, did you see Indians going online to trash their country with smears like ''poverty capital of the world'' etc? NEVER. In fact it was only when Nigeria supposedly 'overtook' them that we got to know India's position. Nobody knew it was India. That's a fact. But Nigeria? Her No 1 enemies who comprise her own citizens, shout it from the rooftops, on facebook, twitter, instagram, and Nairaland. Will that make things better for Nigerians? Nope. It will only drive away investors and tourists, the very people whose capital goes straight to the masses by way of work and employment opportunities. India played down her social ills, attracted investors and tourists despite widespread poverty, terrorism, illiteracy, and infrastructural challenges, and is today reaping the reward. Poverty is falling, and development occurring fast. America does the same. This is a country where gun crime is equivalent to 100 Boko Harams working at the same time. Do you ever see this on CNN? Nope. Instead they report stuff to attract you and your money to the US, by trade and other means. With that money, they invest in fighting crime. But will Nigerians embrace such sophisticated reasoning, or remain the perennial ''woe is me'' cry babies of the internet? The signs point to the latter, which is pretty sad. |
Felibaby:That's temporary. They're taking it easy in introducing the service to ensure it all works properly before increasing speed. |
picklighthouse:There is a rail manufacturing plant under construction in Ogun State, that comes as part of the contracts with the Chinese. The huge factory, when completed, would employ over 5,000 Nigerians. |
HeadShot:Most Nigerians type from the comfort of their bedroom. Where do you think they are typing from? Under bridge? Ode. |
jmoore:America is a microcosm of the world, being the most racially diverse nation on earth. That video alone displays their diversity. |
Kapeter:Whites are responsible for the massacre of BILLIONS of people throughout history, including the mass looting of foreign resources worth trillions of dollars, and are surely the most evil, brutal, barbaric, and demonic race of people who ever existed. |
Doradorwa:I saw a film of Germans piling up the bodies of thousands of people they had murdered under Hitler, and immediately understood why White people are tagged as maggots, pigs and demons. |
BigSarah:For your evil type, I will ALWAYS be uncouth. You hate us but expect to be respected. Useless. |
OnyeOhuu:Wrong. They KNOW about Nigeria, but unlike you, they are not filled with the inferiority complex and self hatred that prevents them from appreciating the good things Nigeria has to offer, from food to music, to literary excellence, to film, fashion, culture, history, and modern entrepreneurship. |
BigSarah:Until YOU make even 1/4 of one video that says something different, kindly shut your rotten, filthy trap. |
HeadShot:Liar. Much as we know you pray for the worst, Boko Haram is definitely NOT waiting at airports for anyone. And most Nigerians are not looking to "escape" as you claim. Useless. |
princemillla:You reason like a fool. America suffers far more crime than Nigeria, but they don't allow that to define them. Instead they bombard you with Hollywood and celebrity lifestyles so they can present another image of themselves while making profits off your adulation. That is what you should be doing, but will inferiority complex and self hate let you? |
StaffofOrayan:America that is publishing travel advisory against Nigeria, ask them how many homicides occur in the USA each year. It's over 30,000, with the total number of violent crimes in the country a staggering 1.2 MILLION a year: The 1st country America should issue travel advisory warning against is America. https://www.statista.com/topics/1750/violent-crime-in-the-us/ |
StaffofOrayan:Thousands of westerners fly into Nigeria every single day. |
Skyfornia:Wow, see how your twisted mind misinterpreted the video. Those foreigners have no idea how foreigners are supposedly treated in Nigeria. They've never been to Nigeria. So what the hell are you talking about? By the way, colomentality exists in other African nations as well. Travel around and you'll see. |
Americans are asked a very simple question in this video: ''Which country in Africa would you most like to visit if you the opportunity to travel to Africa today?'' 80% of the respondents replied....''Nigeria''. Enjoy the vid. ....Start from 2.15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wDmFYKCdHQ |
Aconomist:Is your own face any less stupid? Brainless dunce typing rubbish. The Germans were not hired to ''fix Nigeria'' by the way, you little airhead. That's YOUR job, assuming you're even a Nigerian, with your rotten attitude. And do spare us this whole ''if Germans can't do it, nobody can'' slaveboy Kunta Kinte bullshiit. The Germans, like their British brothers, ruled vast swathes of Africa for nearly a century - regions which they simply looted and left as undeveloped bush hellholes at independence, which is why black Africa began to develop only AFTER independence in the 1960s. |
Did The Old Testament Record An Igbo - Yoruba encounter? There is growing evidence that the ancient Hebrews were a race of African origin - something long attested to by the bible itself, as for example in Amos 9:7 where Yahweh asks his people, ''Are ye not as the children of the Ethiopians unto me, oh children of israel? Another stunning indicator is Zephaniah 3:10 where Yahweh promises to one day gather his 'dispersed' who dwell in the lands ''beyond the rivers of Ethiopia'', ie the after the Nile! .....West and Central Africa! ''From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. In that day shalt thou not be ashamed.'' - Zephaniah 3:10 When Jerusalem fell to Roman invaders in 70 AD as prophesied, millions of those Hebrews fled into Africa. To get away from Roman forces, they fled to that part of Africa were Pax Romana was not established. A region almost completely unknown to Rome. West and Central Africa. In fact, ancient European maps named a forest West African region the 'Kingdom of Judah'. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/63/6f/8a/636f8a7924c9cf6698cabc4bf5b1d828.jpg The Igbo - Yoruba Biblical Encounter - ADENIJI AND ABIA According to 2 Samuel, Adonijah (’Ǎḏōnîyāh, 'my lord is Yah') was the fourth son of King David. His mother was Haggith as recorded in the book of 2 Samuel 3:4. Adonijah was born at Hebron during the long conflict between David and the House of Saul. Life After the death of his elder brothers Amnon and Absalom, Adonijah considered himself the heir-apparent to the throne. He acquired chariots and a large entourage. The king was unaware of this being he was “stricken in years” with his health failing him, and was in a different city. Adonijah consulted and obtained the support of both the commander of the army Joab and the influential priest ABIA thar. However, the priest Zadok; Benaiah, head of the king's bodyguard; Nathan, the court prophet; and others did not side with Adonijah. In anticipation of his father's imminent death, Adonijah invited his brother princes and the court officials to a solemn sacrifice in order to announce his claim to the throne. He did not invite Solomon or any of his supporters. According to the Jewish Study Bible, by excluding Solomon, Adonijah demonstrates his awareness that he is in effect usurping the throne. Assuming that Adonijah will soon move to eliminate any rivals or opposition, Nathan warns Bathsheba, Solomon's mother, and counsels her to remind the king of a previous promise to make Solomon his successor. ..Adonijah was supplanted by Solomon through the influence of Bathsheba, and through the diplomacy of the prophet Nathan. They induced David to give orders that Solomon should immediately be proclaimed and admitted to the throne, which David agreed.[1] After receiving word that Solomon had been crowned king, Adonijah's supporters quickly fled, while Adonijah took refuge at the altar. He later received a pardon for his conduct from Solomon on the condition that he showed himself a worthy man (1 Kings 1:5–53). Afterwards, Adonijah asked to marry Abishag .....[Abishola?] from Shunem, who served his father David on his deathbed. Solomon, however, interpreting the request as a second attempt to gain the throne, denied authorization for such an engagement, even though Bathsheba now pleaded on Adonijah's behalf. Adonijah was then put to death (1 Kings 2:13–25). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adonijah |
privaldo:Dullard, by Pidgin, I was referring to the fad in which many Africans, who grew up on Nigerian films, now use pidgin words in their informal dialogues, from 'oga' to ending their sentences with 'o'. You will find this in places like Kenya, Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, etc. Plus if like me, you have traveled to the Caribbean, you would know that Nollywood movies are sold and bought everywhere there, with Nigerian actors and actresses household names in places like Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada and St Lucia among others. And it is a travesty and utterly stupid to compare the pitifully small output of black Hollywood to Nollywood, the 3rd largest movie industry on earth, or to falsely claim that Nigerians and Africans are "fixated" on black American movies. That's delusional. |
PharoahIII:Thanks for explaining the situation based on your expertise. The OP should have asked questions first, but as a typical colonised self hating black man, his first inclination was to call us monkeys with no brains, not realising that HE is the only dumb, ignorant, brainless and stupid cretin in our midst. |
This wooden building in Japan stood for over 1,000 years with no fire. But Nigerians are scared to use wood? Monkey people
There goes another conditioned, self hating black man who goes around calling black people "monkeys". Do you actually realize you're racially abusing your own self and your mother and your family by using such terminology? Lemme guess...That obvious fact simply flies over your head. Talk about Dumb and Dumber. |
privaldo:No they're not obsessed. They just can't live without our music, our movies, our fashion fads, and even our pidgin English and mannerisms. If you have no idea the massive cultural influence Nigeria is exerting over Africa and the Caribbean, you lack basic awareness and common sense. |
