Amah70:If you lack drinking water gather some people in your area and build a well nah? Govt will also wipe your nyash for you when u shiit. |
hargbolahan01:Nigeria is a democracy. The govt will not act without being pushed by public opinion. If the Fulani gentleman in the above analogy had said what he did, would Igbos wait for their state govts to quietly gather evidence and start legal proceedings via 'due process' before gently requesting the return of the funds, or would they FILL THE STREETS TO DEMAND ACTION, led by IPOB? See, when it comes to dealing with your fellow blacks/Africans, you are all militant, gra gra, and highly intelligent agitators who brook no nonsense or deceit. The minute a white face is involved, you turn PUSSIES. Why? What JAZZ did white people do on you to make you like this? |
WoundedLamb:Ok, replace British with 'Fulani', and I would sound perfectly reasonable to you and other Nigerian slaves of the British.. I wouldn't sound ''bitter'' at all. If a FULANI leader had come out and said ''hehehe you know, the former governor Okorocha stole 20 billion dollars of Igbo money and deposited it in Bank of Katsina. We really condemn this, but life goes on, and we'll keep the money.'' Would Igbos not demand their money be sent back to them? You bet they will. They will even riot! They will condemn Okorocha as a Fulani agent, and demand their loot be returned immediately! But it's the British doing this, so everyone keeps shut like robots. The British brainwashing of Nigerians was comprehensive. That is why you are silent, and consider anyone who demands a return of the stolen funds, ''bitter''. |
Nigerians have been brainwashed by the British. Any sensible group of people will immediately raise their eyebrows at anybody their former colonial, imperialist looters praises as ''person of the year'' etc. Not Nigerians. Sheep led by the nose. Same way the BBC hailed Mandela as a saint, after he relinquished the economy to whites and left the black majority in the same position they were under apartheid, just so he could be released from prison and get the presidency after his jail term. True, authentic African leaders who actually do right by their people are demonised and condemned by the BBC and other western agencies, including Bob Mugabe, Thomas Sankara, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Malcolm X etc etc. Let Aisha Yesufu do what REAL BLACK HEROES DO, and DEMAND that the British and French return the trillions of stolen wealth to Africa, and watch how quickly the BBC withdraws their 'love.' |
doggedfighter:Oh, you do understand. |
Until Africans emancipate themselves from mental slavery to white people, they will never cure the societal ills afflicting them. Corruption is a multinational racket just like drug trafficking. The US doesn't deal with drug crime by just chasing down its own citizens. It sends agents to Cuba, Colombia, Mexico etc, to track down the drug lords who maintain the network. Nigerians only believe in attacking their local ''leaders''. Everyone else is free to steal from them. Brainwashed people. |
doggedfighter:Oh, so now, no money was stolen because we highlighted the British role, ABI? SLAVE. Can you folks see our main problem? She's ready to exonerate Gowon just so we don't disturb the British. Who did this to our people? |
Nigerians are BRAINWASHED. That is their main problem. The colonialists did a major brainwashing job on them. That is why a British man can come today and condemn corruption in Nigeria, and Nigerians would sing his praises, even as the British man is holding billions of stolen Nigerian money in his bank. Nigerians would never condemn him. How can they condemn their white gods who brainwashed them to the point they now bleach their skins, straighten their hair, worship a white man as their ''saviour'', and speak in fake British accents/ US accents etc, from their newscasters to airport announcers?? Even in the Gowon thread that was on front page, 99.9% of commenters never asked of the British, ''so when can we have our money back?'' It's like ''ok he stole all that money, and put it in our English banks, so the money is OURS now, but we condemn his corruption, although we're not giving you back your money.'' And Nigerians completely accept that! No questions asked! They're totally brainwashed. Only God can save them from what the British did to their heads. |
doggedfighter:Slave girl. Are you scared to ask the British for your money? Brainwashed thing. How can you ask them when you probably bleach your skin to look like them, and fake your accent to sound like them? |
doggedfighter:Kindly face the topic. |
Nukilia:You can start a new thread for that. This thread is about our money. |
So, when will the conscientious British, so appalled by Gowon supposedly stealing half the central bank's money and depositing it in Britain, RETURN the looted funds? I mean, by retaining the money they are Accessories After Theft - a felony as bad as theft itself. They don't have to send cash. They can pay for building a few railway lines criss crossing the country, or some massive new road construction projects, or build 30 universities in the country. SO, WHEN ARE THEY GONNA PAY UP? I mean, surely, it's no use telling us you are keeping billions of pounds of our money if you have no intention of returning it, is it? AND IT MAKES YOU JUST AS BAD AND EVIL AS THE THIEF, DOESN'T IT?

lastmessenger:Who is the ''YOU'' in your stupid question? Are YOU not a Nigerian? Mosquito brain. Go and ask your own dumb self or your father why you haven't produced ''toothpick''. Who are you waiting for to make ''toothpick'' for you? Dunce. You don't even realise how STUPID and BRAINLESS you sound. You think you're insulting or belittling others, not realising it is your own self you are insulting and belittling. |
Coronabirus:Bro, Nigerians are BRAINWASHED. That is their main problem. The colonialists did a major brainwashing job on them. That is why a British man can come today and condemn corruption in Nigeria, and Nigerians would sing his praises, even as the British man is holding billions of stolen Nigerian money in his bank. lastmessenger:Donkey, what stops YOU from ''producing toothpicks''? Is it the govt's job to manufacture toothpicks for you or is it it YOUR job as a member of the private sector to do that? BRAINLESS DUNCE. Oh by the way, we manufacture WAY MORE than ''toothpicks'', and do build cars, buses, trucks, SUVs, chemicals, paint, tires, spare parts, and numerous other goods across Nigeria, which is why we have thousands of FACTORIES across the nation. You wouldn't know his because you are a jobless airhead with rocks for brains!!! |
candygist: Mumu. If you keep money that was stolen by another, that makes you a THIEF and CRIMINAL too, and you cannot be exonerated. It is called Accessory After Theft, and it is a felony, so STFU and stop trying to exonerate criminals. |
PhiliptheArab:Dude, that is the OFFICIAL story, which is very different from the truth. |
DAVE5:You forgot the British rulers before them. Lord Lugard, Lord McPherson, Lord bla bla bla. Don't omit them from "Nigeria's history", otherwise you're a dishonest little crook. |
themaestro08:Yep. Talk some slave shiit and I'll whup your asss, Uncle Tom. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Donkey, the British built railroads that boosted internal trade, plus massive factories, in the US, not to mention mass education, and invested heavily in power plants and education in India. They built universities and engineering institutes across India and the US. The university of Calcutta was established by them in 1857. Then the university of Mumbai was built the same year, followed by others in quick succession. None of this was done in Nigeria or black Africa. WE had to start from ZERO in the 1960s. I mean, your ignorance stinks to high heavens. |
themaestro08:You wouldn't know common sense if it walked up to you and thumped you in the head. As long as folks like you come here trying to exonerate the head of the snake, and paint him as an angel of light, I shall keep whupping your butts. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Olodo, go and watch the lecture by that Igbo prof who did the research on British activities in Nigeria, and clearly showed, with documentary evidence that the British were drilling oil from WW1 in 1914 in the delta. Mumu slave and oyibo ass kisser. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Dunce, the British built massive infrastructure in America and across India, seeing them as future economic partners, as those regions lacked significant natural resources. In Africa, they looted extensively and built nothing, seeing Africa as a perennial source of raw materials rather than business partners. The British, oh dullard, did not treat all their colonies the same way. It all depended on their interests in each specific region. |
Patruul007:So why did your oyinbo masters not return the "half central bank money"? Or they didn't know it was stolen money, assuming the story is true? I mean, Gowon basically dashed them our money, which they kept, and are now telling us they have our money. Won't you ask for your money? |
EMMY76:Are you aware that Britain was drilling oil in the delta and selling since 1914, but it was only after independence in 1960 that Nigerians discovered they had oil in commercial quantities in the same delta? These are the same British lecturing us about not being corrupt. |
GreyLaw:Use your head, dunce. I meant that Nigerian leaders are better FOR NIGERIA than the British colonialists who ruled Nigeria for 63 years before them. I also do not subscribe to praising the British for looting and raiding half the world to enrich their country. If everyone did that, what kind of world would we have, or does your donkey brain not think along such lines? |
Farki:The UK is a highly unequal country with millions of people in debt and poverty even as a hereditary 'royal family' sits atop billions of pounds of wealth, living in massive palaces, along with the wider aristocracy. So spare us your slavish bullshiit pls. |
themaestro08:If you had a working brain, which you don't, you would realise that corruption, like drug trafficking, is a RACKET that involves multiple players in multiple countries, who facilitate the moving around of money. This is why when the US govt goes after drug gangs, they don't limit it to US based mules, who are often the small fry. They send special agents to Colombia, Mexico etc, to fish out the heads of the networks, and take them out, or drag them to the US for trial etc. UNTIL WE HAVE THAT SAME APPROACH TO CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA, you will NEVER end that problem here. Until you grow the balls to tell the big banks and big shots in England, France, Switzerland, etc to STOP ENABLING CORRUPTION IN AFRICA, you will keep being STUPID. |
Amos1423:Nigerian leaders are 1000 times BETTER than the British colonial looters were. This is something many of you are too thick to understand. They did not come for "business". They came to LOOT YOUR RESOURCES. That is what colonialism is about - looting. Not "business". The British ruled for 63 years and built not a single university or power station in Nigeria. Kainji Dam was our first power plant, and was commissioned by the Balewa administration in 1964. Today we have built 200 universities since independence. When the Brits left, Nigeria was just a big bush with nothing but illiterate village peasants and nake.d malnourished children. Today under indigenous rule, you are literate and exposed, whereas under colonial rule, your grandparents were illiterate village peasants. Indigenous rulers may be corrupt, but they have invested more in the country than the colonialists by a huge margin, from education to infrastructure, you name it. |
Agbegbaorogboye:No, you see how STUPID YOU SOUND by talking about British leaders riding the train, when they preside over the most unequal society you can think of. If you don't know Britain, and the heavily class stratified society they are, go and learn. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Abeg shut up. Slave falling for public stunts meant to deceive low IQ goats like you. The BRITISH PEOPLE do not buy those stunts, and understand all too well the MASSIVE class inequalities in Britain, where the PM might ride in a train, but still not give up acres of prime country land worth millions of pounds handed down to him by his aristocratic forbears. Or where millions are in poverty, homelessness and debt where their queen sits in Buckingham palace surrounded by billions of pounds worth of gold furniture and art paintings. |

. The fact that you resort to insults validates my concerns
