techmo:Anything about your white masters you don't want to believe is a ''conspiracy theory'', correct? The fact that Boko Haram is a western intelligence - backed operation should be clear even to a dunce. But you thoughtless buffoons on Nairaland who cannot see beyond your ethnic hate, are blind to what's really going on. Those with common sense are actually shocked the army chief made this admission. |
Bluntguy:Codeine smoker |
Nairalandian:Does the whole of America look like New York City? |
Average Nairalander: ''Nigeria is a shithole'' ''But MY part of Nigeria is great! See the pictures!!'' Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Bini everyone, hypocrites posting images showing development in THEIR respective regions. Your own area is not a shithole. Only the other areas where other ethnicities live. Maybe Nigeria ain't really a shithole. It's our minds that are full of the shit of selfishness. |
Caseywilliams:You people and this weed stuff. You're very ignorant. People that smoke weed don't do stuff like what Osaze supposedly did. |
Yahweh will take on them. |
Nbotee:Specify that you are referring to Boko Haram terrorist attacks. Don't make out like it's the govt that killed 43 people, you dishonest person. |
Benbellamor:The Nigerian government. |
UN and CNN Bow To Nigerian Govt - Retract False Stories of 'Massacres' They came from across the seas. Hoping to foment trouble. They took advantage of our crises, to pour more petrol on the fire. They made wild accusations of 'massacres' committed by the elected govt of President Muhammadu Buhari, against innocent Nigerian youths. Lately the UN wildly exaggerated the casualties up north, to create public disaffection. They expected the Buhari administration to be intimidated by this international conspiracy to destabilize Nigeria. To meekly protest their innocence and move on, to mass world opprobrium. Instead they came up against a resolute Nigerian govt that said, ''NO. You will NOT be allowed to tarnish the name of Africa's greatest country. We CHALLENGE YOU to produce the evidence of what you claim happened in Nigeria, or we will TAKE THIS TO THE NEXT LEVEL.'' Many were shocked at how President Buhari refused to mention the Lekki incident during his speech to calm the crisis. He completely ignored the incident! People thought 'this man has lost his mind'. Little did they know the crafty Daura general had already figured out the whole deal from the start. Why give dignity to nonsense? He then plotted with his team to force the foreigners to eat their words. Buhari stood up for Nigerian integrity, when many Nigerians fell for foreign distortions. This stunning roll call of apologies and retractions from the likes of the United Nations, CNN, and likely soon, Amnesty International, is the finest moment of Buhari's presidency on the international stage. |
GavelSlam:We are our own worst enemies. Look, till today I do not believe the Nigerian army killed anybody in Lekki. But many Nigerians believed CNN and claimed the army was lying. The Nigerian govt demanded that CNN stick to basic journalist standards and produce evidence of their claims. Now they are all retracting and apologising, from UN to CNN. We also need Amnesty International to make their own retraction. They were among the loudest accusers, with zero evidence. But CNN, DJ Switch, Aisha Yesufu, and all these funny characters seem to have been deployed to instigate Nigerians against constituted order. Are they trying to destablize the country? They won't succeed. |
Igbochief001:Dude, if a country like Nigeria, with its low annual budget of $35 billion has to use its income alone to fund development, it would take a century or more to reach there. They've really no choice but to borrow, in the hope that infrastructure built will generate greater economic activity and raise GDP. |
thesilentman:Buy an ice cream making machine, get her to visit Youtube and learn all the different recipes/flavours, and set up a small kiosk in that area - well branded and brightly coloured - that offers ice cream of various exotic flavours. It will be a big hit in the area. You can also offer stuff like donuts and cakes. No meatpies/no fish pies/nothing cooked. Just set up a delicatessen/ice cream parlour. That's all. |
weirdtee:I know. They will just mess him up there with their usual favouritism. Liverpool is better for him. Even Chelsea and Real Madrid want him. |
obailala:I know...Imagine being shown clear evidence the information is fake, and you still go ahead to insist on its authenticity. That's sheer madness. |
Man Utd and Liverpool eye Samuel Chukwueze transfer with Villareal winger also being looked at by Chelsea Gary Stonehouse Sun UK 26 Nov 2020 Super Eagles hitman, Samuel Chukwueze https://images.daznservices.com/di/library/GOAL/f1/1b/samuel-chukwueze-villarreal_1w8rgg5s2ozdu1o1sbms7qwwzo.jpg?t=81368031&quality=60&w=1200&h=800 MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly eyeing a swoop for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze. The 21-year-old Nigerian has caught the eye over the past two years since his breakthrough into the Spanish side’s first-team. He remains under contract with the La Liga outfit until 2023. And that deal includes a massive £71million release clause. Despite that, La Razon claims United are among a host of clubs plotting a transfer move for the versatile attacker. Chukwueze is capable of playing on either flank, and his displays for Villarreal have secured him a whole host of admirers. The Spanish publication claims Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City and Everton are also keen. Liverpool have also entered the race to secure his services. And according to today’s reports, either Old Trafford or Anfield are believed to be the most likely destination for the African. United have long-been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund wide-man Jadon Sancho. They were priced out of a deal over the summer window after the German side refused to drop their £127m valuation. That means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could instead opt for the cheaper alternative and go all-out to sign Chukwueze. The star helped his country to Under-17 World Cup success in 2015 and won the Bronze Boot award at the tournament before going on to continue his progress in Spain. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/13305908/man-utd-liverpool-samuel-chukwueze-transfer-villarreal/ |
This is just the beginning. The way the rest of the world is going, from Europe to America to the Middle East, there will soon be millions of them seeking refuge in Africa. European economies are collapsing as we speak. The US is heading for some really rough times. The clock is ticking. |
humilitypays:You are the worst type of ignorant African. Dumb to the core, yet loud as a trumpet. The whites ruled you from 1897 to 1960 and in that period, built you not ONE university, power station, major hospital or expressway, or industry. Today, under black rule, you count those facilities in the HUNDREDS, yet your blind bat head tells you the colonialists are 'better'. YOUR IMMEDIATE FORBEARS WERE ILLITERATE VILLAGE PEASANTS UNDER COLONIAL RULE. Why weren't they bankers? Industrialists? Lawyers? Engineers? Doctors? Ever asked yourself that? Where did all the money go? The British were exporting billions of dollars worth of raw materials annually for 63 years. So why were only 5% of Nigerians literate in 1960 at independence? That figure is 75% today, thanks to massive investment in public education by post-colonial Nigerian govt. All this progress, yet you foolishly prefer those who did NOTHING merely because they are white-skinned. Do you even understand the REASON for colonisation? The only reason for it is the economic exploitation of the colonised for the enrichment of the colonising nation. So requesting a 'longer period' of this official robbery by 'white people' is truly the height of madness. |
EvangelistChuks:Bullshiit. If the whites were so great, why were we an underdeveloped bush with zero infrastructure and a 95% illiteracy rate after 63 years of uninterrupted white rule? Statistically, if there were still in charge today, you'd be an illiterate village peasant, just like your grandparents under colonialism, which saw zero investment in public education or industrial development. |
CSTRR:True. The US has never made it their concern to train any Africans in their technology. Except training in weapons and military. |
trutht828:Sorry, I've no time for kids. |
paulolee:If you mean Yekini, the answer is Yes. Man for man, 'Mathematical' was a better player than Yekini. It's not even close. |
thatsleepboy1:Well spoken from your backyard. Better go out there and look for work.. there are jobs in many projects ongoing across the land. From construction to rail sector. Dangote refinery project alone in Lagos is employing thousands of youths. INNOSON employs 6,000 plus Nigerians in its vehicle factories. Your mates are finding jobs out there. You wouldn't know any of this if you just sat in your backyard smoking skunk and cursing Buhari. |
Another major technology transfer deal is the Rail Manufacturing Plant under construction by China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Chinese firm to build first rolling stock assembly plant in Nigeria OGUN, Nigeria, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese construction giant the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) will build a rolling stock assembly plant in Nigeria to promote the country's railway modernization project. At a groundbreaking ceremony for the plant Saturday at Kajola, a town in the southwestern state of Ogun, Nigeria's Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said it is a "historic turning point" in Nigeria's railway modernization plan. "When completed, it is expected that the plant will produce some wagons for the Lagos-Ibadan and Abuja-Kaduna rail line ... and to satisfy the needs of other rail operators within the West African sub-region and indeed within the African continent," said Osinbajo. "The plant would offer an important platform for technicians, artisans, and others to gain specialized skills for the production and maintenance of rolling stocks," Osinbajo added. Nigerian Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi said the assembly plant would be the first of its kind in Nigeria, and it was to "meet the increasing demands of both passenger and freight on the new Nigerian standard gauge railway service." The plant would generate about 5,000 jobs, the minister added. Li Yuan, economic and commercial counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, pledged to encourage Chinese companies to invest in Nigeria's manufacturing and agricultural sectors. Li said that China's direct investment in Nigeria's manufacturing sector has grown to 3 billion U.S. dollars, creating tens of thousands of jobs for local communities. The plant has the capacity to produce 500 wagons per year and will undertake key production processes like welding, assembly, painting, drying and testing, said Jiang Yigao, managing director of the CCECC. "Nigeria is surely marching to greater development and the CCECC will continue to partner with Nigeria in ensuring the technological development of the country," Jiang said. http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-11/10/c_138543820.htm |

Technology Transfer: Buhari Scores High As China Opens Training Facility In Nigeria. Chinese Luban workshop facility launched in Nigeria The Star Newspaper, Malaysia ABUJA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- China on Friday launched a Luban workshop facility in central Nigeria, with an aim of providing high-end technical skills training to help college students meet the requirements of the emerging global market. The workshop facility hosted by the University of Abuja, the only public university in the Nigerian capital, will at the initial stage offer course majors including Urban Rail Transit Traffic Management, Urban Rail Transit Vehicles, and Railway Bridges and Tunnels. Other majors will include electronics, power mechanisms, and telecommunications. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Nigeria Luban workshop and its operation, Abdulrasheed Na'Allah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, said the facility, established with the support of the Tianjin Sino-German University of Applied Sciences and Tianjin Railway Vocation and Technical College, will help in improving the skills of young Nigerians while promoting the Belt and Road Initiative of the Chinese government. "That today's ceremony is taking place is evidence of the exceptional work on the part of the partners to achieve success for our two nations and our peoples," Na'Allah said. The program is named after Lu Ban, an ancient Chinese woodcraft master, and aims at cultivating technical experts worldwide to serve their countries' economy and society. The establishment of the Nigeria Luban workshop and its aims and objectives are, according to the Nigerian university vice-chancellor, "an example of people-to-people engagement at the grassroots which is capable of cementing friendship between Nigerian and Chinese people forever," as well as "an example of a true partnership that is recommended to nations sincerely eager to forge genuine friendship". Na'Allah thanked the Chinese government for the opportunity given to the University of Abuja to host the workshop, saying it will contribute immensely to strengthening the university's opportunities to not only be at the forefront of the movement for the educational, technological, and economic development of Nigeria but to also be a world-class university. In September 2018, China announced that 10 Luban workshops would be established in Africa to provide vocational skills training for African youths, under the framework of the Forum On China-Africa Cooperation. The agreement to set up a Luban Workshop in Nigeria was inked in Tianjin on Nov. 14, 2019 by the Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College, the Tianjin Sino-German University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Abuja. Luban workshop textbooks were also launched during the virtual opening ceremony, held simultaneously in Abuja and Tianjin on Friday. The event was attended by senior Nigerian and Chinese officials, including Cao Xiaohong, vice mayor of Tianjin. Nigeria's education minister Adamu Adamu, represented by a senior ministry official, said the role of the youth, being the targeted beneficiaries of the Luban workshop, cannot be overemphasized and the program will duly contribute to the economic advancement of Nigeria. "This laudable initiative by the government of the People's Republic of China is commendable due to the technical and professional training for the good and development of our nation," he added. |

tobechi20:Easy for you to say, when you're not the one receiving peanuts for a dangerous job. |
Nairalandian:Same as in America. Politicians are in it for the money. They get huge amounts from private company donors and lobbyists, and get to sit on boards of huge firms after retirement or losing elections. Don't be so brainwashed by their propaganda to not realise it. |
Nigeria has had many great strikers in its soccer history. But none comes near the great 'Mathematical' Segun Odegbami, man for man, in terms of skill, and sheer ability on the ball. 'Mathematical' Segun Odegbami (inset) Plus the big guy sitting in the middle is the great Emmanuel Okala, a very tall, languid goalkeeper, who surpassed Vincent Enyeama in talent and agility. https://www.withinnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/27/all-you-need-to-know-about-nigerian-living-legend-segun-odegbami-2.jpg Those of you who did not grow up watching the great 'Mathematical' Segun Odegbami in action for the Super Eagles, have no idea what you missed. You honestly don't. ![]() 'Mathematical' was the greatest dribbler and striker in Nigerian football history bar none. He was an outrageously skilled No 7, whose attacking wing play was a long, endless, delightful party of dribbling! Odegbami could easily beat 7 players in a row, coming in from the right. I remember one particular trick he played, in a vital game at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos against Tunisia, who were a bigger force in African football than currently. In this game, 'Mathematical' was on the right wing, with Eagles playing from left to right on the screen. As he raced down the wing, a Tunisian defender approached him near the halfway line. 'Mathematical' then stopped with ball in front of the defender, by the touchline. Meanwhile another Tunisian was rushing in from behind 'Mathematical' to tackle the ball off him from behind. 'Mathematical' saw the onrushing defender coming from behind him but pretended no to. As the defender approached in speed, 'Mathematical' stuck out his left foot suddenly as if to move with ball. Guess what happened next? The defender continued running, and running, and running past the two players, until he finally realised that he hadn't tackled Odegbami at all! And that they were still standing there! Guys, if you see the way the stadium erupted, in appreciation of the great 'Mathematical'. i've never seen anyone, not even Messi, or Ronaldo, perform such a move till date. And 'Mathematical' was a superior goal scorer. His eye for goal was amazing. In fact, only Rashidi Yekini scored more goals than 'Mathematical' Segun Odegbami in the Super Eagles jersey. 'Mathematical's greatest moment was when he led the Super Eagles to the glorious 1980 AFCON title in a riveting final against Algeria in the National Stadium Lagos, which the Super Eagles won 3-0, with 'Mathematical' slotting in the 1st and 3rd goals, that broke Algerian spirits, and brought the African Cup to Lagos. And a big SHAME on all Nigerians who simply believed and accepted the CNN claims outright, simply because it was CNN. Back then we were calling you fools and donkeys for blindly believing them without evidence. NOW YOU SEE HOW DUMB YOU ARE? |
