Even the hospital his predecessor built ,he destroyed it by sending all us away . This is the period 2016-2017 that he was paying us irregularly irregular half salary that culminated into #2.5m unpaid salary till now . So the wicked man was actually using people's sweat to acquire wealth!

Madam , your husband, during his rule as a governor of Oyo state played politics with the lives of many people ,so playing political with is death is no match as he is not even aware of it. She should go and apologise to the family of the pensioners that died due to the inability to take care of age related illnesses because her husband refused to pay them. Her husband served the state for 8 years but these people served for over 30years who should be more respected .
So it pains! This life is vanity upon vanity .What ever position you find yourself ,put the fear of God first . Many workers of LTH ogbomoso still beg for money till now . Many lost their aged love ones because they couldn't take of them .
You don't feel pains of people you claim to serve but you want people to feel your pain.
My 4yrs of working in Oyo state during your husband rule was nothing but a torment !

Half salary was being paid from 2016 and 2017 culminating to 12 months ( He agreed to pay only 11 out of 12 months upon which industrial disharmony was resolved, till his death nothing was done) . This followed irregularly irregular modulated salary patterns that messed people's destiny up!
The MRI was bought by Akala but it didn't arrive till the change in government , of course the deal was to deliver it to the state government so it was supposed to be delivered to Ajimobi goverment , how the machine disappeared .......... ( rumours has it that his wife diverted it to cash) The building of the MRI is still empty till date .
I didn't say we ATE "Garri" it is a person who has soup with or without meat that eats garri . We DRANK Garri to the extent that it became our favorite food . Mind u, this Garri was sent by mom in-law with other stuff .
I pray u won't experience what will make u drink Garri as only meal of the day as dinner , then u will experience a superficial sleep that makes ur night worse than the day . Is it the shame of having to send my wife to her people to get help to survive that I should talk about? My own case was still better compare to some colleagues. Just look for any one in the employment of LTH ogbomoso around that period and the gist will definitely make u emotion if u still have any human feeling in u
I give glory to God that In the next few years I will complete my training as a neurosurgeon then, I will decide either to join my family in the Australia or stay to serve my country .
I pray God will give his family the fortitude to bear the loss ,however any one that finds his or her self on the corridor of power should tread softly and be merciful. Don't treat people like dogs . Death is the end of everything and inevitable!

i may support some of what you are saying that they didnt fund health care but to blame him for your failures to be disciple and save money is unfair. i suspect your children go to expensive private schools, assuming they go to public schools, which are free, schools fees will not be an issue.

and feeding will not be an issue. your inability to feed your family was a failure of your overspending and don't blame the man for this. in tough times, you change your habits. you reduce your expenditures.

i get a friend that worked for banks. he said he cannot live without electricity.

Are u aware that the 3.5Tesla MRI( magnetic resonant imaging ) machine bought for lautech teaching hospital by the previous government ( of Alao Akala) which was to be one of the best in the country , was rumoured to be sold by Ajimobi wife ? The company was still sending messages to the CMD about the function of the machine not knowing that it never arrived there( at least before I left for another center)
Are u aware of many pensioners that died because he didn't pay them their dues , he was quoted to say " the living had not been pay , not to talk of the dead" while addressing the delegates of the pensioners. . If u are conversant with happenings in Oyo state, Sheyi makinde just off- loaded 10yrs pension arrears some weeks ago

Are u aware that he (Ajimobi) was the immediate former governor of Oyo state( constituted authority)? He killed LAUTHEC TEACHING HOSPITAL OGBOMOSO. Sacked many workers while being owned salaries.
Many of us fled for hunger. Residency training programs that should standardize doctors in handling of patients ,he closed many department down.
Till now , I'm still being owned 2.6m unpaid salary.
I can't forget how my mother in-law used to feed us ,pay my child school fees by sending money from Lagos. Same applied to many other doctors and health workers.
I have respect for the dead and hold no grudges against him as person ( after all God has answered my prayers and all are stories now).
But to blame the failure of the health sectors on medical practitioners is unfair!
Are u aware that the doctors treating PMB in London were mainly Nigerians.
In this Covid era, did u hear about one doctor Obafemi a Nigerian trained that presented an iconic drug on covid .
The truth is that they are being killed by the dragon they are breeding . If the virus is not killing the high ranked people do u think they care about the masses?
Ajimobi truly died because he couldn't be flown abroad to access good health care facilities that they failed to put in place at home, not because of brain drain .

A government than can fight pest with 13billion and claim there is no money to pay health workers is not a serious one
A government that can renovate a obviously good looking structure with 27 billion in the midst of pandemic and not making PPE available for the soldiers fighting the pandemic is not only insensitive but wicked.

When the pandemic started , with heat from the senate president , the hazard allowance was reviewed as follow
* 70% of basic salary for all front line workers
* 50% of basic salary for other clinical staff that are not front line workers

The government promised to kick off the payment from March and review it again after the pandemic ( till now nothing has been paid)
- life insurance for health workers was also part of the demands
More than 10 doctors have died from this virus with hundrends exposed ( even myself ) and over 300 infected ( figure of the infected health workers are surely under reported)
In my centre currently, about 5 resident doctors are receiving treatment in our isolation unit
No PPE , most of the time ,we buy face shield, mask etc out of pockets ( some people are smiling at their bank accounts every blessed day )
* You need to know that many of the resident doctors are young , with little children , wives , husband , old parents at home , experience with LASA FEVER has shown that this country is not worth dying for
Most of the structures in our secondary and territory hospitals are dead . surgeons, most of the time we bring our Instruments to operate patients ( if not you will contaminate the wound with your sweat!)
- When the pandemic started federal government ordered that the retired but still viable health workers should be temporarily called back to service to support in fighting the virus ; alas , Jos university teaching hospital (JUTH) sacked about 26 resident doctors claiming they have out stayed their welcome in the training
- WHAT NOW PROMPTED THIS ACTION ?
About 3 days ago, the PTF , had a meeting with NARD , the out come of the meeting was that there is no money in the federation purse to pay the health workers as promised , life insurance ,not done.
They claimed they have to revisit the agreement , however that the federal government is planing something robust for the health workers .
27billion naira was just approved, to renovate the national Assembly
Very huge amount of money was just given out to renovate NTA
It is obvious that this pandemic has not taught us any lesion as a nation .
Obviously when the boarders are opened, they will resume the medical tourism as usual.
The only language they understand is industrial action!

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD)are set to embark on industrial action due to various pressing issues
They however exempt doctors in isolation centers taking care of COVID - 19 patients . The industrial action is to commence 15th June 2020 .
