I used both the 2 methods in diff location

You can do the front side 1125mm or 1350mm and the back 225mm or 450mm,with this the height it can reduce heat and sound and also water can run fast on it to reduce leakage, lastly the height can be able to accommodate any woker that needs to work inside the ceiling.

2.5mm of NIGERIA made nigerchin or coleman is good for both AC and cooker unit bcs there are of standard guage.
But if you are using other products you can make use of 4mm bcs there 4mm is equivalent to 2.5mm nigerchin and coleman

@baryton I just noticed the post now, thanks for the members that have answered your question.
To buttress there answers the chemical is called hydrochloric acid, if you are close to ojota ask them there, the gallon is blue but they sell in small quantities , also you can get it at coker Orile.
More so it's advisable to do this washing with chemical after 1-2week after you might have fixed the tiles bcs that chemical due weaken cement

Actually the soil is not that porous that is why we used strip pad foundation for the security house only and also client budget also contributed to it.

After 3yrs we finished this project I was called again for another deal
