Bode George Link Nigeria’s Problems With INEC Mismanagement Of The Electoral Process

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of manually manipulating election results.

George, in an interview with Punch, stated that the country’s problems are linked to the multiplier effects of the mismanagement of the electoral process


The former military governor of Ondo State asserted that the call for the military in governance was unacceptable, having experienced both the military and civilian governments.

George maintained that the government’s failure of the day was the primary bait behind some people giving a spot for military intervention.

He submitted that the supervisors of the country’s election must be fair, just, and equitable, which he added are the tripods of a stabilized government.

He said, “We knew what we suffered during the military. It’s an unusual thing to happen. Yes, I know we haven’t reached the level where we would all be happy with civilian government. I went through the two (military and civilian governments) and have seen the two,” he said, mentioning power under the democratic system comes “from the base up – It belongs to the people.

“The major issue of disappointment in the country now is that INEC is not doing their job.

JUST IN: Equatorial Guinea Govt Official Arrested Over 400 SXx Tapes With IGP, Ministers, Others’ Wives (Watch Video)

The Director General, National Financial Investigation Agency in Equatorial Guinea, Baltasar Engonga, has been arrested for allegedly recording over 400 sextapes of the wives of notable people in the country.

The scandal emerged in the course of a fraud investigation against the 54-year-old Economist which resulted in the search of his house and office on impromptu notice by ANIF officials who came across several CDs that later revealed his sexcapades with different married women.

The videos reportedly include encounters with high-profile individuals, such as his brother’s wife, his cousin, the sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea, the Director General of Police’s wife, and about 20 of the country’s ministers’ wives, among others.

The footage, discovered in his personal office, was said to have been recorded with consent and has since been leaked online, causing a media uproar.

In a report by a local media platform, Ahora EG, since last October, Engonga has been involved in a sexual scandal unprecedented in the history of Equatorial Guinea.

The former ANIF DG better known as “Bello” had sexual relations with several women, some of them married, and filmed these intimate encounters.

Ibadan Man Confesses How He Trap 76 Women For Ritual (PHOTOS)

A man who claimed to be a former ritualist and now a follower of Christ has confessed to how he killed over seventy women for ritual purposes.

The individual, who hails from Ibadan and is known locally as ‘Mistina Orobo’ and originally from the Foko area of Ibadan, claimed to have transformed into a pastor and stated that the figure he mentioned does not include individuals he was contracted to kill or those he has consumed throughout his life.

Nigeria Ranks 5th In Daily Social Media Usage Globally

Nigerians rank among the world’s top social media users, with 2024 data placing the country fifth globally for average daily time spent online.

According to figures from Cable.co.uk and We Are Social in 2024, posted by World of Statistics on X on Sunday, Nigerians spend an average of 3 hours and 23 minutes per day on social media.

Leading the list is Kenya, where people spend the most time on social media, at 3 hours and 43 minutes daily. South Africa follows closely with 3 hours and 37 minutes, Brazil at 3 hours and 34 minutes, and the Philippines at 3 hours and 33 minutes.

Nigeria’s average of 3 hours and 23 minutes places it just behind these countries in social media engagement.

Other countries with high social media usage include Colombia (3:22), Chile (3:11), and Indonesia (3:11). Saudi Arabia and Argentina round out the top ten with daily averages of 3 hours and 10 minutes and 3 hours and 8 minutes, respectively.

In comparison, some countries record lower social media engagement, such as Ghana with 2 hours and 43 minutes, Egypt with 2 hours and 41 minutes, and Thailand with 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Among European nations, Portugal (2:23), Romania (2:20), and Italy (2:17) rank lower on the list, indicating that social media usage varies significantly by region.

Gynaecologists: No S3x Position Can Help Women Get Pregnant Faster

Leading gynaecologists have said aside from issues with a woman’s reproductive organs and non-viable sperm, s3xual positions can’t impact conception.

While they acknowledged that there were claims that specific sexual positions could make conception easier and faster, the maternal health experts confirmed that there was no scientific basis for such.


Online checks by PUNCH Healthwise revealed claims that s3x positions such as missionary, dog style and spoon, among others could increase conception rates.

Their argument was based on the premise that such styles brought the penis closer to the cervix, creating easy access for the sperm to flow directly into the fallopian tubes, leading to pregnancy.

However, the gynaecologists noted that all things being equal, once a healthy sperm reaches the vagina and could swim to the cervix, a woman would conceive regardless of the sex position.

The physicians further asserted that a sex position was only medically considered during sex selection.

Providing expert advice on the issue, a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, Ernest Orji, stated that although the myth exists, there was no scientific basis for it.

He said, “There is no sexual position that a woman takes that she won’t get pregnant. None is easier or faster than the other one. Sometimes, the man can ejaculate on the woman’s thigh and she will still get pregnant. Once sperm enters into the vagina, anyhow, the woman can get pregnant.

“We know that the womb can sometimes be introverted but sperm moves freely. Unless the cervix is blocked and prevents the sperm from entering, no position makes getting pregnant better or faster. If every other thing is normal with the sperm and the woman, once the sperm enters into the vagina, the woman can get pregnant.”

The researcher on Reproductive and Feto-maternal Health further clarified that on the other hand, no s3xual position could reduce the chances of getting pregnant.

The don added, “A lot of time, some people would think that since there was no deep penetration during s3x, there wouldn’t be pregnancy. But if there was ejaculation, the woman would get pregnant.”

Also, a Consultant Gynaecologist, Dr Stanley Egbogu, stated that sex position was only significant during s3x or gender selection of a child.

He also affirmed that the position assumed during s3x had no impact on the possibility of conception.

“Anytime there is difficulty in conceiving, we don’t look at the position. Position does not mean anything,” Egbogu said.

He further reaffirmed his position, mentioning that even those who relied on the withdrawal method as a means of contraception could still get pregnant because the pre-ejaculatory fluid, which would have been released before withdrawal, has been tested to contain some sperm.

“Position will play less or no part because if you have good quality sperm and eggs, whether it’s missionary, lateral or dog style, they can get pregnant. So, we don’t bother about positioning when we talk about people trying to conceive.

"It is when we want to talk about s3x formation that is when we talk about the positioning, that is the posterior side, meeting the woman on the day of her release of egg and alkalinisation,” the gynaecologist said.

He further clarified that no s3x position could reduce the likelihood of pregnancy or serve as an effective method of avoiding it.

Ondo Election Will Determine PDP Stand In 2027- Makinde

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, yesterday declared that the 2027 general election will be between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Nigeria, and not between the ruling party and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Makinde has also urged the leaders of the PDP to unite against any form of external control that may prevent them from uniting and forming a strong opposition ahead of 2027.


Speaking during the inauguration of the South-west PDP Zonal Office, which he built in honour of the late former PDP National Vice Chairman (South-west), Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo-Oluwatukesi, and donated to the party, Makinde stated that Nigerians would be the ones to determine the next leadership of the country.

He urged the PDP leaders to look inward, work together, and salvage the country.
He said: “People have been complaining; they have been talking; they have been making a lot of speculation. Let me say this again, and I will say it myself: Nobody will set an agenda for me apart from myself.

“They have also been talking; the ruling party and other parties. Let me say this: If you are accusing the ruling party of interfering with other parties to prevent them from uniting and forming a strong opposition for 2027, my position is that there are certain things within our control.

“Whether Governor Adeleke (Osun State governor) and I will cooperate for the growth and benefit of our party in the South-west is beyond the ruling party. It is between me and Governor Adeleke. So, please, let us work together and unite our base; that is all we need to do.

“The next election will be APC versus Nigerians. It is not even about APC versus PDP. So, let us do our bit to unite our party and our base, and let the people of Nigeria speak.

“The people spoke in Oyo and Osun states. They will do it in Nigeria. So, don’t fret. Don’t think external people have control over what will happen in our party. Yes, they may try; they can only succeed when we allow it.

“I want to admonish PDP members all over the country; let us unite and the way to demonstrate it is if you know one or two people in Ondo State, call them and tell them that the PDP is united. Tell them that the Ondo election coming up two weeks from now would be an indication of where Nigeria would be in 2027,” Makinde added.

Makinde said despite the clamour for him to join the 2027 presidential race, he had not assigned anyone to campaign for him.

“Please, let us all work together and unite our bases. That is all we need. The next general election would be APC versus Nigerians, not even APC versus PDP. But, let us just do our own bit to unite our party and bases and then allow the people of Nigeria to speak when the time comes.

“I am glad we are opening this House. It is a demonstration of our unity. I am also glad that our Acting National Chairman is here. The kind of story they would have loved to hear is that the suspension and counter-suspension saga is still on, but that is behind us.

“We are even more united to move forward. So, I thank you all for being here,” Makinde added.
He tasked all PDP members to work together and unite for total victory in the Ondo State governorship election coming up on November 16, 2024.

He spoke on the cooperation and cordial relationship between himself and his Osun State counterpart, Senator Ademola Adeleke, assuring that they would work hand-in-hand to unite the South-west

Hajj 2025: Ogun Government Seeks Support from NIS and Nigerian Ports Health Services

The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) to inform the Command of the commencement of the year 2025 Hajj exercise, just as it sought support towards a hitch-free operation.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, during the visit to the Command at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, described the NIS as one of the key stakeholders that plays an important role in the yearly exercise, informing it on the need to fast-track issuance of intending pilgrims’ passport to enable the Board meets the deadline for the pilgrimage.


While appreciating the Command's past cooperation and support, Alhaji Ajibola, in a statement signed by Hajia Lateefaht Ayoola, Press Officer, OGMPWB, expressed hope that the NIS would sustain the annual assistance for the success of the Hajj exercise.

The State Comptroller, Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Ogun State Command, Mr. Aliyu Akadiri, in his response, said the agency was conversant with the programme and assured that necessary efforts would be made to prevent delay in the issuance of passport for intending pilgrims.

He advised the Board to urge prospective pilgrims requesting International Passports to commence early and come with proof of payment to expedite the process.

Also speaking, Deputy Superintendent Immigration (DSI) Osinusi Omoowo, tasked the Board to inform intending pilgrims of the requirement in the issuance of passport, such as, validated National Identity Number (NIN) and correct information, warning that incorrect details would attract additional fees.

Tony Okocha Label Fubara As Wike’s Political Investment

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Caretaker Committee in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, on Friday, warned critics against distorting the narrative of the crisis rocking the state, insisting that Governor Siminalayi Fubara is the investment of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Okocha disclosed this during a media parley with journalists at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Okocha who served as the Chief of Staff to former Governor Rotimi Amaechi from 2007 to 2015, stated that he feels embarrassed every time he listens to a radio analysis and hears the presenters dishing out a biased narrative.

He said, “I can tell you that the conversations going on around the state are skewed. They need to hear our side of the story. Some people are blaming us at the APC and even bringing in the FCT Minister for the crisis in Rivers. They are holding us in scorn. Naturally, I know what anybody will say is that he (Wike) has done eight years; why is he not allowing someone else to run his own? But that is not the narrative.

“Nobody makes an investment and throws it away; the business will fail. Governor Fubara is Wike’s political investment. I must have said this many times. This is because he lifted him from ground zero and put him where he is today. Fubara was never a politician; he was a civil servant.

“He was taken from a state of relative obscurity in his Local Government to a political crescendo, which is the position of governor in a state like Rivers. So, it is not a case of Wike suffocating anybody in Rivers; it is just a case of Governor Sim Fubara versus the same Governor Sim Fubara. He is the governor. In Ikwerre’s parlance, there is an adage that says ‘You are the man that holds the yam and the knife.'”

Continuing, Okocha also blamed the governor for spurning the intervention of President Bola Tinubu and the court order directing him to re-present the 2024 budget before the Martins Amaewhule-led State House of Assembly.

He said that rather than following the agreed resolution, Fubara allowed his loyalists to go loose by threatening and attempting to blackmail the president.

“There was an intervention by Mr President through an eight-point agenda. The president said the governor was wrong by presenting the budget to a four-member assembly over and above 27 others, and that he should go back and re-present it. Fubara accepted and told Mr President that being the first time he was meeting with him, whatever he said pertaining to Rivers, he would abide by.

EFCC Detained Top Edo Officials 4 Days To Obaseki’s Handover, Details Emerged

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the Edo State Accountant General, Julius O. Anelu, and four other officials who are signatories to the state government accounts.

This comes just 11 days before Governor Godwin Obaseki hands over to Governor-elect Senator Monday Okpebholo.

According to sources, the five officials were taken into custody on Thursday and are currently being held at the EFCC’s Benin office.

The arrests are believed to be a preventive measure to forestall last-minute withdrawals from the state account, following a budget allegedly approved by the Edo State House of Assembly about two weeks ago.

Health Minister: FG Working To Minimise Fake Condoms, Others.

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Muhammad Pate, on Friday said the Federal Government is working to minimise fake condoms and other items in the Nigerian market.

He stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

“There are things that should not be in our system that actors may find ways to compromise and those are the minority,” he said.


“Over the years, we have seen a reduction in those kinds of things making it. Somebody may hide in their room, create something that is substandard and get it into the market. That is what we are trying to the barest minimum.”

NAFDAC Raises Alarm

The minister’s assurance comes after the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has raised an alarm on the circulation of an unregistered condom called Foula condoms.

NAFDAC in a statement on Thursday said the product, which is usually packed in 3s, was discovered in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital and in Zango, Kastina State.

NAFDAC said the discovery was made by the officials of the post-marketing Surveillance Directorate (PMS) while carrying out a Risk-Based Post Marketing Surveillance study on registered condoms in Nigeria.

“The condom is not registered by NAFDAC for use in Nigeria, and the labelling of the product is not in the English Language,” the statement read.

Senator Condemns Detention Of #EndBadGovernance Protesters Minors

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Sani Musa (APC, Niger East), has condemned the detention and prosecution of minors involved in the EndBadGovernance protest in the nation.

In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, the senator described the detention as inhumane and unjust, urging the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the National Judicial Council (NJC) to investigate the circumstances surrounding the detention of the teenagers.

He also urged the NJC to examine the actions of the presiding judge in their case.

The minors were brought before an Abuja Federal High Court, where Justice Obiora Egwuatu presided on Friday.

Justice Egwuatu granted bail of ₦10 million to 72 defendants, including the “malnourished minors,” in connection with their alleged involvement in the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest.

He also mandated that each defendant secure two sureties in the same amount.

It is important to note that a significant number of Nigerians participated in protests against “bad governance” during the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which commenced on August 1 and concluded on August 10, 2024.

However, many of the demonstrators, including minors, were subsequently arrested for their participation in the protests.

But Senator Musa said, “I strongly condemn the unjust detention of minors following the #EndBadGovernance protests. It is deeply troubling that despite the hardships and challenges these young children have endured, there is a push to have them imprisoned rather than afforded compassion and understanding.

Two Feared Killed As Police Clash With Protesters In Nasarawa Over Supreme Court Ruling
The National Spokesman for the Youth Rights Campaign (YRC), Hassan Taiwo Soweto, and 17 members of the #EndBadGovernance Movement, were arrested by the police at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos during a protest.

Sokoto Police Arrest 18-Year-Old For Kidnapping Neighbour’s Son

The Sokoto State Police Command has successfully apprehended an 18-year-old suspect, Abba Aliyu, for the kidnapping of his neighbour’s two-year-old son.

Aliyu, a resident of the Badon Hanya area in Sokoto, was arrested following a swift operation conducted by the police’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit attached to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). PHOTOS


In a statement released on Saturday, the command’s spokesperson, ASP Ahmed Rufai, revealed that the incident occurred on October 13, 2024, when Ibrahim Shehu reported his son’s disappearance.

The boy, Saidu Ibrahim, had gone missing around 6:00 PM, and despite efforts to locate him, his whereabouts remained unknown for several days.

The family later received a ransom demand of ₦2 million from the kidnapper via phone call. Eventually, the family paid ₦500,000, leading to the boy’s release.

Based on intelligence-led operations, detectives were able to trace the suspect’s location to Badon Hanya, near the Zamson filling station, where Aliyu was arrested.

During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime, admitting that he kidnapped the child to extort money from the family. The police also recovered the Tecno Android mobile phone used to communicate the ransom demands.

Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Musa, commended the detectives for their prompt action in apprehending the suspect and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to tackling crime in the state.

He also shared vital safety tips for parents to protect their children from criminal elements.

Political Crisis: PDP Grapples With Uncertainty Over Loss Of LG Structure In Rivers State

Rivers State has continued to be in the eyes of the storm over the political crisis between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

Fubara and his predecessor, Wike, have been at odds since last year, with their conflict reportedly centred on control over state resources and political structure.

Multiple interventions from the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and stakeholders in the state, including President Bola Tinubu, have failed to reconcile them.

Wike seems to have gained the upper hand, controlling 27 out of 32 State Assembly members and the state’s PDP structure.

Despite a recommendation from the PDP Governors’ Forum that the leadership structure in Rivers is returned to Fubara, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP, sympathetic to Wike, has recognised Wike’s loyalists as the legitimate state executive committee members.

Local Government Election And Twist

The local government election conducted by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), triggered more crises in the state.

Despite the court judgement barring the security agencies from participating in the election, Fubara insisted that the election would go as scheduled.

Wike’s loyalists in the PDP and the All Progressives Congress (APC), boycotted the election, citing a judgement by the Federal High Court in Abuja, which stated that RSIEC violated requisite provisions by not publishing the mandatory 90 days’ notice before fixing the date for the election.

Fubara, before the election, reportedly directed his loyalists to contest the polls under the Action Peoples Party, APP platform, following Wike’s strong influence in the PDP.

Fubara And New Political Structure In Rivers

The election outcome shows that APP dominated, winning the chairmanship positions in 22 out of the 23 LGAs and securing 314 out of 319 councillorship seats across the state’s 23 local government areas.

This clearly indicates that Governor Fabara has regained control of the LG structure ahead of the next elections.

While many political stakeholders and party chieftains lashed out at Fubara, others, including the PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, threw their weight behind the governor.

LeadNaija reported that the chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the PDP, Senator Adolphus Wabara, while speaking against the background of the local government election, declared that the PDP shot itself in the leg.

Wabara lamented that it was the first time in recent history that a ruling party in Rivers State, controlled by the PDP since 1999, lost its grassroots influence to a lesser-known party.

Has PDP Truly Lost Rivers State?

In an interview with Naija News, former Governorship aspirant of PDP in Ogun State, Segun Sowunmi, stated that the outcome of the Rivers LG election does not mean that PDP has lost the state, referencing other states with similar situations.

He said, “I don’t accept the notion that the PDP has lost Rivers at the grassroots level due to the outcome of the local government elections. Anywhere the governor had stayed in all states, the governor had won the local government election. That does not mean the opposition party did not exist. Take the case of Oyo, PDP won all the local government elections, but that does not mean that there is no APC there. Also, in the case of Kano and the Kwankwaso movement still have APC as strong opposition.

“The situation in Rives where APP is at the local government level is unfortunate, but that does not mean PDP no longer exists in the state. Time will tell what the party will do going forward because we have other politicians who neither support Wike nor Fubara. The masses are suffering the political crisis, but that does not mean that PDP will not be strong there or win elections there. BREAKING: High Court Free 36 Pro-Biafra Activists After 4 Years Of Detention

An Ebonyi State High Court has discharged and acquitted 36 Pro-Biafra activists after they spent over four years in detention.

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lead counsel for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), made the announcement during a press briefing in Owerri on Friday, September 27.

The detainees, all from Ebonyi State, were initially arrested in 2020 and charged with murder. However, the prosecution repeatedly failed to present adequate evidence during the trial.

Following a[i] “No Case Submission,”[/i] the court dismissed the murder charges on September 27, 2022. Despite their acquittal, the activists faced re-arrest under new charges, including unlawful possession of firearms and robbery.

NDLEA Intercepted 350,000 Bottles Of Codeine-Based Syrup Worth N14bn In Lagos

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA says its operatives have intercepted a total of Twenty-Five Million (25,000,000.00) pills of tapentadol and Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand (350,000) bottles of codeine-based syrup at the Tincan port complex in Lagos.

Tapentadol is an opioid three times stronger than tramadol.

NDLEA Spokesman, Femi Babafemi made this known in a statement issued on Sunday.

According to him, the seizures were made on Tuesday, 17th, and Friday, 20th September 2024, from three containers that had been on the watchlist of the agency following processed intelligence.

He said, “As a result, the NDLEA had requested for 100% joint examination of the shipments with men of the Nigeria Customs Service and other security agencies.

“The 25 million pills of tapentadol have an estimated street value of Thirteen Billion Seven Hundred and Twenty-Five Million Naira (N13,725,000,000.00) while the codeine consignment has an estimated street value of Two Billion Four Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N2,450,000,000.00), bringing the total value of the seizures to Fourteen Billion Nine Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N14,950,000,000.00).

BREAKING: NNPCL Released New Petrol Pump Price


The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has released estimated prices for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, to be sourced from the Dangote Refinery in September 2024.

The pricing estimates, announced on Monday by Chief Corporate Communications Officer Olufemi Soneye, forecast what Nigerians can expect to pay at NNPCL retail stations across different regions.

According to the statement, the estimated price of PMS in Lagos is expected to be around N950.22 per litre, while consumers in Borno State may pay as much as N1,019.22 per litre. Other states, including Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are projected to see prices around N999 per litre.

NNPCL said that, in line with the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), PMS prices are not regulated by the government but result from direct negotiations between parties. This means that prices may vary depending on location and other market factors.

Notably, NNPCL will pay Dangote Refinery in US dollars for the September 2024 PMS offtake, with Naira-denominated transactions set to commence on 1 October 2024. The company reassured Nigerians that in the event of any pricing disputes, NNPCL would pass on any discounts from Dangote Refinery directly to the public.

The statement partly reads, “The NNPC Ltd also wishes to state that, in line with the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), PMS prices are not set by Government but negotiated directly between parties on an arm’s length.

“The NNPC Ltd can confirm that it is paying Dangote Refinery in USD for September 2024 PMS offtake, as Naira transactions will only commence on October 1st, 2024.

"We Are Not Involved In Sowore Arrest" – DSS Says

The Department of State Service (DSS) has dismissed reports that its operatives were involved in the arrest of the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (ACC) in the 2023 election, Omoyele Sowore.

BREAKING: PDP Officially Suspends National Secretary Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Tsauri ‘A’ Ward Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the suspension of the party’s former National Secretary, Senator Umar Tsauri, citing accusations of anti-party activities and other misconduct.

The decision was confirmed in a letter signed by the Ward Chairman, Alhaji Danjume Abubakar.

The committee explained that the suspension was decided at their meeting on September 14, pending the outcome of an investigation by a disciplinary committee set up to probe Tsauri.

The senator faces allegations of unguarded utterances against the national leadership, actions that could bring the party into disrepute, and associations perceived as damaging to the PDP.
