Okwuosa said Jonathan lacks the political will to lead Nigeria after his previous time in the presidency. He said Jonathan was too weak for a president and under his watch, insecurity and insurgency of the dreaded Boko haram heightened. He stated this during an exclusive chat with Legit.ng while reacting to rumours that Jonathan is considering contesting in the 2027 election. “GEJ equally failed to tackle corruption, which is the bane of poverty and deprivation in Nigeria. Under his watch, his minister of Petroleum stole so much, almost enough to cover the annual budget of Nigeria.” Why Peter Obi is better than Jonathan Okwuosa said the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has the cleanest of records, competence, and is intellectually sound. “Obi has been a businessman and a banker all his life, but GEJ came from the classroom into politics, and had no understanding of the economy. Obi is more knowledgeable in the area of economy.” According to Okwuosa, the ..
