Hi All, Please I will travelling to SA next year January, I'm working for an international organization and the SSA headquarters is in South Africa. They want me to apply for a multiple entry business visa for 2 years to enable me travel in and out without waiting for visa per trip. I've gathered the required documents, but need clarifications on below: 1. Bank Statement - I only downloaded the stamped and signed pdf version from my bank's internet banking platform, will this be accepted? 2. Birth Certificate - I have a copy of my BC in my flash drive, can i just print it out and add to the application, must i get it certified before it will be accepted? 3. Yellow Fever Card - My yellow fever card was issued in Ghana when I was there, must I have one issued by Nigeria authorities. 4. Payslips - Can I add like 3 months payslips to support my application? i will submitting the documents via VFS Abuja next week and will appreciate any tips to get successful. Thanks a lot. |
Hi All, |
Hi Everyone, please i need help. I use to have an old Nairaland account in 2006/7 after sometime i got busy and forget the password. Now, I want to deactivate that account and clear all the posts/pictures that I've made there, can anyone please direct me on who to contact to fix this? I've tried to recover the password again, but the email account has been deactivated by yahoo.com but i still remember my nairaland username. thanks, |
on my first flight, i didn't know how to buckle the seat belt and the plane was already taxing off the tarmac, an elderly man seating next to me was like, "is this your first flight?" and i nodded sheepishly ![]() |

Gerrard59:You cannot compare the population of South Africa to Swaziland. Ghanaians probably prefers Swaziland due to the less number of applications at the US embassy there. |
MatrixReloaded:The 2 countries i mentioned here are visa-free countries for Nigerians visiting within 30days or more. I'm asking here to know if anyone have gotten the US visas via this process. Ghanaians are going to Swaziland because it's also visa-free for Ghanaians. The visa type in question is a normal US visiting visa |
OyoTunjiUSA:thanks, but the idea is not actually to run away from responsibility, its just the appointment dates are not available in Nigeria till next year ending and I have a programme to attend in the US in March 2024. |
KLEINBASS:I dont understand what you mean, someone is making genuine enquiry, if you have nothing to contribute, why not just shut up and move to the next thread? |
Hi Guys, I'm trying to get a multiple entry business visa. I will be hosted by the South Africa brnch of my company. Which of the embassy is more easier Lagos or Abuja. Must I appear physically at the embassy? I need all info to get this visa without denial please... |
please have anyone gotten US visa from any other African country apart from Nigeria? I just need to know as someone is suggesting to try Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Swaziland or Gambia. |
Hello everyone, I'm applying for South Africa visa, I heard they are big on this yellow fever card thing and decided to check if my yellow card is still valid. I scanned the QR code on the front page and it led me to the site, but when i enter my passport number and yellow card number, it says "Oh snap! Please Enter Valid yellow card code or passport number". I've entered the correct numbers severally and still get the same error message. Is anyone else getting this same error message OR is my card fake? see the link here https://yellowcardnigeria.com/login

guys, still waiting for feedback |
mctech:Very true... On my first international flight out of Lagos, I nearly cried at the airport. The begging was too much and i was on a tight budget. The last lady told me clearly that if I don't drop something, i will miss my flight which was already on ground. Oboy my eyes popped open in surprised, I panickily gave her the last money in my hands before I was let go. |
Hi Everyone, Thanks for the engagement on this thread, its quite educative. I have a question regarding HMO, my company have us on an international health insurance that covers me and family worldwide and the cost of childbearing and baby is covered 100%. My question is, if we go for visa interview, will the VO accept the fact the cost of delivery and baby care is covered by HMO or must they want me to provide proof that I can foot the bills? |
Hello Everyone, Please I'm checking to know if it's possible for a Nigerian to get USA visa from the US embassy in Kigali, Rwanda or Banjul, Gambia. It seems like there is no appointment dates in Nigeria till next year. Ghanaians are going to Swaziland for US visas but a Nigerian would need a visa before entering Swaziland. I need to know if anyone have gotten visa via Gambia or Kigali and how it went. thanks |
i see people praising the government on this post and i'm shaking my head. Guy, this is still one of those blablablues..... for your information, these expatriate employment laws have been in existence since the 90s, for you to hire foreign personnel, you must have explored the local talent pool, if no one have the qualification/profile, that's when you hire an expat, also the expat must have 2 local people understudying him, these people would eventually take over the role after 2 years or based on the validity of the quota position. However, companies pay heavily for the quota positions and bypass all these laws. To me, nothing has changed, they are just re-inventing something that has been in existence. Also look at this from a different perspective, some multinational companies do transfer their workers outside the Nigeria for cross assignment and career exposure, if govt insists that Nigerians must take all positions, that automatically means that such cross transfers with cease immediately thereby limiting the exposures. APC/Tinubu should focus on basics needs of citizens for now and fight complex battles later. We need food, 24hours electricity, good roads and security. i come in peace |
someone should drop African Union social media handle here. They need to question Tinubu on what is going on in Nigeria |
