Thanks very much

Hi megabus would probably be the cheapest but not necessarily the best. You can get the overnight bus so you are arriving in London around 8am and going straight to Nigerian House. You will also be able to get the overnight bus from London back to Glasgow the same day so no need for hotel. However as this very long journey and I wouldn’t recommend this unless you are really strapped for cash.

The other two options would mostly likely require an overnight stay in London. You could use the train, tickets go for about £25 one way if booked in advance. As your appointment is in July, you will be able to snag a cheap ticket. You could also use one of the budget airlines eg EasyJet, even British Airways has reasonable flight only deals to London.

Whatever you do, ensure you get to Nigerian House as early as possible. Ignore the appointment time and arrive in plenty of time. Hopefully you will not encounter any issues and should be done latest by 1pm.

Hello all,
I need your sincere advice please. I got a job as a relief support worker in December , 2022 in Scotland .On 7th of March I got a 3.30 hrs shift from 6 pm till 9.30pm .As a relief worker i don't have constant shift so after about a week and fews to my next shift I got a call that all my shifts henceforth has been cancelled because some concerns were raised.I was really troubled to know what went wrong, the only thing that came to my mind was maybe because they just employed a new full time staff which might have been given my shifts. Few days later I got a call from the office and our manager asked me to come over next day. I got there next day and she asked if I knew why my shifts was cancelled but I said I don't have an ideal except maybe they got a new staff , but to my surprise she said a service user's DVD
got missing at my last shift and she called me for fact finding. I wrote back and explain that I don't know anything about it . I stated I met a colleague on duty and i shouldn't have been the only one suspected and cancelling my own shift only is already an indictment. I emphasized that if their finds show is a case of theft , they should invite the police and not treat it in house.
Cutting story short , after writing them again not to delay their findings because it affects my integrity and my career . I got a response that the fact finding is" inclusive but they have concluded" . Also they have decided that going forward they will never offer me any shift and they will remove my name from the list of relief staff.
Please how do go about this inclusive but concluded statement
Note I have 4 care offers pending which I have used them as reference before the last email that ended my contract .
Please how can I save my integrity and career.
Thank you for your genuine advice

Every year spent on a legitimate Skilled worker (aka tier-2) visa will count towards your 5-year ILR route…. Even if you change sponsors 20, times.
Infact, if you switch to Global Talent (Sciences) visa right now, the two years already spent in care will count, and you are ready for ILR next year. (3 years pere).
Thanks for giving unambiguous answers

Hi everyone , I need your candid advice. My wife just finished her exam in one of her course Sustainable Operation Management (SOM) in GCU , Scotland. She got 11/25 in her course work and the exam is 75marks. She needs 39 marks to get the pass mark of 50. Majority of her mate complaints of the time allocated to the exam and also the exam didn't mirror what was given in the mock. However because of her low mark in course work and the reasons given above , she is now considering to go for the option of 'Fit to Sit' and it has to me done within 48hrs of writing her exam . This will give her opportunity to write the exam fresh not as a resit . Please advise. Thanks

If you can network extensively - church, work, your 9ja contacts in Glasgow etc try

- word of mouth, as it can help sometimes
- go local and visit local agents’ offices in areas where you desire to rent
- with your contact ask if anyone has a room or two (shared flat) to rent in a 2 or 3 bed - this is a temporary measure to save cost on the Airbnb for now.

I am please to inform you that Wakanow eventually changed my kids ticket to match ours. I must say a big thank you the a lady called Seun who's a flight reservation supervisor who took up our case and stood her feet by compelling wakanow to do the right thing.she called wakanow and proved to them it unprofessional and error on their part not to link the parent ticket with the kids which would have prevented the system from detaching the kids ticket from the parents she insisted they have to look for every means to put all of us in the same flight at no cost to us. I advise that if you need to book flight, just work
straight to the airline office and book there to save you from any issues.

Wakanow is a scam! They booked Qatar airways for me and my family on the 7th of August, after some days I got a mail from Qatar that Dear customer you ticket has been changed .we were given option of cancellation if we are not fine with it. I told wakanow to let me know what changed ,it was just the airport and departure time so I gave the go ahead to effect it . The sent my kids tickets three kids for my consent ,I checked and ask them to go ahead hoping that my wife's and my ticket will drop soon . I asked for the two remaining ticket, they kept telling me to hold on until after 2 days that they told me that the change only affected my kids and not ours .I was like how could I have agreed that my kids fly a different flight from ours. They claimed I gave the go ahead. Now they asking me to pay 1.2m to effect the change to be in the same flight with my kids.please advice

Defintely a scam!

Now, it appears you might need to pay. Tickets become more expensive as your travel date approaches so please act fast. You need to go to their office and ask some questions. This doesn't sound right...

Next times, please buy your ticket directly from the airline or use other credible agents like ajala.ng. I've used them for over 7 years and they have been very reliable.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Please keep us informed on your progress.
