kayodedavid: Hi guys, I have been working as a construction manager in the last 6 years. 3 years each with 2 different employers. I am trying to gather documents needed for vatessess assessment especially in terms of evidence of employment but the challenge is that I don't have a payslip as often time my salary is paid with same cheque/transfer of cash requisition for site expenses (I am mostly on the road. I probably sit down on my desk in office 30days in 365days in year)....and sincerely, its almost impossible for me approach my previous employer for a payslip. Any advice please! IMO, I think your bank account statement showing credits from your employer as well as your tax return certificates and/ or contributory pension statement should be just fine. However, you need to be sure that your educational qualification and JD are on point before you enter into the ring with the almighty vetassess. Goodluck |

Bros, why disturbing yourself over what is not? I also use Stanbic and like you've been told both here and at the PFA office, you can only have the name of your current employer on the statement. Just ensure that you have spelt out your different employment periods correctly while filling the MSA online form and this also correlates to what you have on your CV and employment reference letters. Denny2017: Please for those who used pension statement as a third party document, how did you make sure that all your employers names are reflected on the document. I was at pension office today and I was told that only my current employer name will be on the statement. Please help your brother, this is the only third party evidence I can provide for my previous employment. No tax certificate, no bank statement. My pension manager is Stanbic.
Please anybody with similar experience, how did you go about? |
Greetings to my bosses in the house, I have some short questions and would be glad and appreciate if you could clear for me.
1. This is related to the assessment by Engineer Australia. I have BSc. Mechanical Engineering (Nigeria) and MSc. Mechanical Engineering (UK). I want my BSc assessed, will I need to indicate my study experience from the MSc UK when doing the episodes? ]It is optional but bear in mind that should any of your career episodes be based on your Msc work, you will need to upload your Msc transcript and if you're not writing any of your episodes based on your Msc , you can just include your Msc in your CPD and this shouldn't require you to upload your Msc transcript.
2. I like to be sure if I would be required to request for transcripts from my uni (Nigeria) after assessment application. You are required to do this before your application as it will be part of your documentary evidence. |

mctowel01: I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9 : 11)
I m a living witness to this. It was all a dream

udi2111: Hello gurus in the house, bnimz, bellong please anyone throw more light on 476,i graduated in July 2015 and I intend applying by October this year, I'm 27 by age with a b.eng in electrical engineering, please can someone please tell me if I'm eligible because an agent told me I'm not eligible. I think the agent is right as you need to lodge the visa within 2 years of graduation in order to be eligible and going by your proposed visa application date ( october), you would've passed that limit. Meanwhile, let's see what others would have to say. Cheers |

mctowel01: It won't man. The exact thing happened to me and I was also worried like you. Be calm, I believe the doe on the main page is still 7th December, but when you download the pdf points breakdown, it becomes your date of birth. The doe on the homepage is the main one. I ve been invited and my doe was the original one, not my birthdate. What occupation btw? @ Mctowel01, Thanks so much, you got the picture right. Occupation : 233512 |

Good day E-fam, kindly allay my fears. I'm on queue for 189 and my DOE which was initially 7th December 2016 changed to 4th April 2017 which is my date of birth without any change in the points. Hope I won't be drawn back on the queue and which of the 2 dates will be used for the skill select draw?
Thank you. |
