Politics › Re: Maurice Iwu Vs Mahmood Yakubu: Who Is The Worst INEC Chairman In Nigeria? by RTSC: 6:43pm On Mar 24, 2019 |
adekayo1234: You're among the sensible few that has commented on this matter. I really don't see anything wrong so far with Yakubu's inec. The only problem so far is the sheer violence that's marred this election which is no fault of Yakubu.
Maurice is the worst INEC chairman ever Maurice iwu started inec with no play book and guide. Yakubu came after jega who saw the removal of a sitting president. Anybody would expect that the elections would get better, but it has gotten worse. The osun governor have just being declared illegitimate by the tribunal and you can bet that many others too will lose their seats. If inec under yakubu still get elections invalidated even with the long years of experience, better funding and more robust laws compared to the Maurice iwu era who started afresh, then who has failed the most!? The answer is clear. |
Politics › Re: Maurice Iwu Vs Mahmood Yakubu: Who Is The Worst INEC Chairman In Nigeria? by RTSC: 6:38pm On Mar 24, 2019 |
obailala: Anybody who makes an attempt to compare the Maurice Iwu era to the current was either a child during the Iwu days or is just an adult suffering from serious amnesia. But you are used to making allowances for buhari incompetence claiming he was starting from ground zero after the so called wasted pdp years. Maurice iwu also started from ground zero. There was no precedence. He basically had to make the rules under an obsssnjo our first modern democratic president, because there was no robust electoral precedence. Buhari saw to that when he overthrew shagari and crippled our democracy. |

You need to get the right materials and practice the right questions.
You need to study with the right people. Studying with High functioning people like yourself will shorten your learning curve dramatically.
You need to have a First Class brain : Like it or not, it is not everybody that can get a First Class even if you do the above. It is function of intelligence. Your rate of assimilation need to be outstanding to finish in the top of your class. And unfortunately, not everybody is fortunate enough to have a First Class brain. It is a gift, most of the time. It is not necessarily a function of hard work..
So for those who are not privileged to be as mentally aware, their best efforts will probably get them a sharp 2.1 which is good too.
Grace : There are times when you run into trouble academically either in a particular exam or test ,and the consequences would be dire for your CGPA. But somehow, you just scale through with a B or even a surprising A. |

Shior! I wonder how they feel now. The buhari they voted for watched them as they got pummelled just for trying to vote. |

MaNyEsq: I have to say that I am taken aback by this simple act by Mr. Akuyam. It is unheard of in this modern time for a Nigerian politician to resign from a position of power. I am very impressed that he had the decency to read the handwriting on the wall and decided to walk away with his integrity intact. Most Nigerian politicians in his position would switch their party affiliation and allegiance and would lobby to keep their position. So, Kudos to the Finance Commissioner, Mr. Garbi Akuyam. I hope other politicians would learn from his remarkable example and know that it is not always about money and power. Most often, good name, peace of mind and one's integrity are usually more important. Which yeye integrity? He knows the game is up and decided to decamp to the winning party. This is not the first time. He is looking for appointment . |
