FamilyUrgent Advise Needed Please Please by rubi96(op):
I have this cousin who has lived with my family almost all his life(had his primary, secondary and currently university living with us). He used to be the son of my mum's younger brother ( teenage pregnancy). The question of paternity became a problem in 2009 when he was to travel out to school in the UK. A test was conducted through mouth swab and it was found that he was not my uncle's son and all hell broke loose to the extent that my mum and her younger brother are not in talking terms. Traditionally, my mum's uncles and elder brother handed the boy back to his mother's family although my mum was not happy about that. After that no one bother about the boy's welfare including education not that they were contributing any thing towards the boy's development before including the father( until he wanted to take him abroad to study). Fastforward to 2012... the issue of change of name, formerly the boy bears Adewale Chinedum Maxwell( not real names)and Adewale being the surname. He decided to bear Chinedum Maxwell without including his mum's family name but my mum's brothers including the "father" were against it, eventually they gave in. He went to school to submit a copy of affidavit ( he is in final year in the university) only for the VC to say he can't change his name. My uncles said it was a lie so my eldest uncle went with him only to be told the same thing by the VC himself. Yesterday, the boy in question recieved a letter from a lawyer telling him that all his documents bearing the surname he's been bearing all his life are invalid and a copy of the letter will be sent to the embasssy, immigration and so on and he will be charged for impersonation, convicted and jailed. Before this the 'father' will always call him only to abuse and threaten him. My question is
1. was it the boy's fault that he was born?
2. what kind of lawyer will write that kind of affidavit?
3. why are they hell bent on destroying this boy.
4. is there anywhere at least a government agency he can go for help concerning this issue, please i need to know because 5. Can a lawyer really make ones certificate previous certificate invalid based on what is happening now?
6. Who is he impersonating considering that he has been the only one in the family bearing the name? example; Adewale Chinedu Maxwell.
7 At the bolded is it wrong to do that?
Now my mum is at crossroads, her siblings are against her to the extent her closest and younger sister are using this opportunity to insult her (verbal insults)at every family meeting concerning this issue, while her maternal instinct can't let go of this boy without making sure he is okay. I am not happy? Candid advise please. Thanks.
FamilyRe: Left-handedness In Children; Can It Be Corrected? by rubi96(f): 9:22am On Apr 03, 2013
I don't think it can be corrected. My younger brother is left handed, there was nothing my mum and my Grandmum didn'tdo to make him stop instead he learnt to use both right and left but he's more comfortable using left than right

bamosagie: You are one hell of a liar, almost sure you have never spent a night in the barrack.
The barrack is a little community where discipline is learnt, a place where character is built, where responsibility is passed down at early age. Like Every other place on earth, it is natural to have the good, the bad and the ugly.
In all, I am proud of the time spent in the barrack.
na big lie there is no discipline in police barracks

dominique: @rubi96
There are lots of tests that you can carry out on honey to verify its authenticity. If you pour original honey in a bowl of water, it sinks to the bottom without any part of it dissolving. Original honey doesn't get infested by ants. Also when put a match stick into the honey and light it, the match ignites immediately. You can't get those kind of results with adultrated honey.
You can get virgin coconut oil form local herb sellers. Heard there are lots of fakes out there too. Don't know how to prove its authentic or not. Best thing is to get it from the people from Badagry.
thank u it was very helpful

Amaaskia: Why don't u leave the judging for God to do. Btw its 'Denrele' not derele. Mtchew
firstly, has it become a wrong thing to advise someone to change his lifestyle? Secondly, do u really think dat denrele's dressing pleases God? Thirdly, do u mean to tell me that advising someone means u've judged the person. Let's say u advise ur sis to stop telling lies, does dat mean u've judged her to be a liar? Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, if u dnt like it , u move on. Moreover, there was nothing judging in wat he wrote.
P.s whenever u correct someone , do it politely and stop hissing. Continous hissing makes ur mouth long. Just an advice.:-):-)

carmelion: Hey dolls, and of course the guys,a nice sunday to you!kiss

I had a discussion with my friend yesterday and he told me something;which on a closer observation,I discovered that it is true.

I observed that,a single lady(who is not a student) living alone has slimmer chances of getting married, than a single lady living with a family or an elderly person.

My friend said that guys might come around and make friends with you but would not take you home to see his people.

When a single lady is staying alone, people see her as irresponsible,a love peddler e.t.c. Nobody cares why you re staying alone ,they just go ahead and draw their conclusion that even your rent was paid for,by a sugar daddy.....hmmmm.

Please house, what is your take on this?
the guyz at my work place advised me concerning this issue when i was trying to move out from my uncle's house because of his wife's attitude towards me and what u just said was exactly what they said. One of the guys told me that even if i want to leave, let it be that it's to my hussy's house not a place where 'dem go dey look me on kain eye'.

What's with this kind of advice especially in an abusive, loveless or one-sided love relationship(s). Don't you think that angel you don't know may be far more better than the devil you know? What do you think?

damilarelr: @all..One house please. Can we go over the purposes of marriage aside intimacy and child-bearing? I think there are up to 6 purposes why Marriage was instituted by God, but some of our ladies today see marriage as an avenue to escape financial responsibilities by marrying a rich guy, some even see marriage as an avenue to enjoy legal sex, rear children, and children's children.

I want to ask, if you are married today and you're given 24 hours in a day, can you highlight how you intend to spend it with your partner without a boring moment?
that's hard na even for those that are married for decades
Christianity EtcRe: Explain This Mystery: A Dead Man Sent A Stranger To Deliver A Bag by rubi96(f): 2:33pm On Feb 05, 2013
Ghosts are real o. when i was 12, my dad's elder brother came from Lagos one evening.I and my yonger sis welcomed him and like any normal children started asking him about the bread and chinchin he normally buys for us, only for him to tell us that he forgot but he go and buy it. He ask about my parents (both of them not around cos dad hasn't come back from work, and mum went to the market to buy stuff), not knowing he had died in the morning. when my dad came back, i told him his bro was around but he went out to buy something. we waited and waited for him to come back, for where. At about 8.30, the driver that brings message for us from came and told my dad that his brother died since morning of heart attack. omo see as dem question me if i was sure that i saw him. i showed them his bag where he dropped it and our neighbour confirmed that she saw him. the next day, my mum took me for deliverance sharp sharp.
