Castos: The worst still remains changing into a monster when she gets married, beat the hell out of the maid, rant on her in-laws, and the worst will be fighting the husband. Pride is the foundition to all evil.
. We jst chased one like that out of our house! Thank God!

RomanceRe: How To Guard Your Man Properly By Michelle Obama (Pictures) by rudian(f): 12:54pm On Dec 15, 2013
redsquare: That was very childish of Michelle to wear such a look in a public outing just because her hubby was flirting with another lady. By virtue of Obama's office as US president, it is expected he would chat with other world leaders in such gathering. There are other ways to call Obama to order without letting the whole world know she was jealous. I don't like people being over possessive. And she even swapped seats! She just disappointed me.
have U tried viewing this the other way round, what if she was jst tryn to keep Obama focused on the purpose of that gathering, let's be honest chatting up a storm in a occasion that should be solemn, he was off track and like a wife who is used to seeing her husband do this sort of thing she took action and the result was on point. My view is Michelle was doing the right thing, I dnt tink she was jealous, I think she was protecting his image. If she hadn't done what she did, trust the media it would be agog with the news that Obama didn't respect Mandela and we would see a lot of allusions to the lack of respect for what Mandela fought for and Obama's ethnicity. Way to go Michelle, this just shows why they Say' behind every successful Man there is a Woman'! smiley
RomanceRe: How To Guard Your Man Properly By Michelle Obama (Pictures) by rudian(f): 12:45pm On Dec 15, 2013
femmyb: Michele Obama is just the typical black America woman, always having unnecessary attitude. No wonder 70% of them are single, bitter and unmarried with a bunch of kids with no man around, who wants to be around Women with such bad attitude.
there could be a different explanation for what she did, but U are too busy stereotyping her to see that!

ghananotnaija: I'm here to bring back some of your oil money back to my country. I send as much as I can back to my home in Cape Coast. There are thousands of people like me. When your country has run out of oil and becomes bankrupt and reverts back to the primitive bush and jungle that it once was, at least some of the oil money would be in Ghana, used to develop that great country.
It is clear this comment was made by a slowpoke!

EducationRe: ASUU Members Disrupt Lecture At UNIBEN (Pictures) by rudian(f): 8:19pm On Dec 09, 2013
homesteady: You are using just 1 lecture theatre to judge the whole school! I don't really know which class is that, but I know that the faculty of law have better classes than this!
If you go round UNIBEN, you'll see a lot of construction going on! e.g Agric faculty is getting a new building, and they are building many lecture theatres in other places!
If you go to faculty of education, you'll even see some classes with curtains!
If you go to where 100l engineering students receive lectures, you can compare the class with some classes in foreign universities!
In UNIBEN, they are not suffering from lack of structures! Even UNIBEN ASUU chapter can't deny that!
I quite agree Uniben has structures but ur comment that faculty of education has got classes with curtains( ahem) U should really cross check if U are describing a different place cos I vent seen curtains in any class, save for that one behind that a church uses on sunday and trust the flower and that bed sheet sorry curtain were left there by the church members so dnt make it seem like the classes are that tushed!

Ask him/her what they've being using our school fees(including Predegrees, regular, Post graduates and others) for, ask him/her what they do with the PTF, ETF, TETFUND and also ask them if they do recieve any external donation. Or do they use it to pay lecturers grin

EducationRe: ASUU Postpones Meeting Over Iyayi's Death by rudian(f): 8:01am On Nov 13, 2013

Alexcollins: THE CASUALTIES OF ASUU STRIKE!!!
The ongoing industrial action by University Lecturers has claimed one of its biggest casualty. (The casualties are not only those who have been kept at home, the casualties are not only those whose wards have been rendered 'useless' for more than 16 weeks ... The fighters are also casualties...) The sudden death of the former President of ASUU Dr. Festus Iyayi via an auto crash enroute Kano for ASUU's NEC meeting is indeed the 'Biggest casualty". There was no need running around the country. Roads are in dilapidated condition and ASUU members know this. One has to be careful traveling around for 'trivial' issues. This strike is easy to be called off or sustained. Since the various chapters have voted, the votes should have just been communicated to the National leaders and they can make their input whether or not to suspend the ongoing strike. This is jet age and there are different ways to pass information. Moving from Ondo to Ibadan, Abuja to Markudi, Ososo to Sokoto, Benin to Kano e.t.c in the name of agitating for better education is quite risky and uncalled for. This should be a lesson to the lecturers' Union and ASUU leaders should amend these unnecessary processes before industrial actions are embarked on or suspended. We must learn to make things easy for ourselves in life.
May Dr. Iyayi's soul rest in peace. He died in the struggle and in active service!
Aluta continua!!!
You have said it all, these pple should have known better, running from north to south in the name of meetings when there are better and faster ways to communicate, RIP Prof Iyayi.

EducationRe: ASUU Foresees Increase In Fees, If Demands Not Met by rudian(f): 7:32pm On Sep 11, 2013
segzytemi: Abakaliki - The Ebonyi State University Chapter of ASUU on Tuesday warned of likely increase in school fees if the demands of ASUU were not fully met eventually by the Federal Government.
The Chairman of the chapter, Prof. Ndubuisi Idenyi, gave the warning in Abakiliki at a news conference on the current ASUU strike.
Idenyi said the fee hike would come when universities attempted to source money for their Earned Academic Allowances as directed by the Federal Government.
“We demanded for N500 billion but the government has only released N100 billion to university councils for infrastructure development in selected universities and another N30 billion for part-payment of Earned Academic Allowances.
“The government has asked various universities councils to source the balance.
“But the question is from where will the funds come if not through increase in school fees.”
According to him, the directive has distorted the report of the technical sub-committee on the report of the “Needs Assessment on Nigerian Universities.
“Government's partial implementation of our demand would generate series of problems in our universities, including differentials in school fees structure in public schools.
“The action would also cause migration of students and over-population of students in a particular school.”
He said that the directive might deny many people access to quality education

http://m.news24.com/nigeria/National/News/ASUU-foresees-increase-in-fees-if-demands-not-met-20130911
This just shows that our Country Nigeria is in the hands of an impotent Government, If the school fees is going to be increased, they should go right on ahead but we expect a Sound educational system, and scholarships if we are going to be scraping to pay we might as well be paying for the real deal.

taharqa: See this many Projects listed above? This is not Unique to FUTO alone. In fact, this kind of Inauguration is happening in most Tetiary FG Schools/Universities. I cudn't recognise certain parts of UNIBEN When I went back recently cos of d many Projects d New VC had done/completed, including some that had bn abandone even b4 I was then. Any Uniben Student know what I am talking about. TETFUND (mostly), Special Interventions and better Revenue-collecting abilities of many Universities/Polytechnics lately, have reali aided all these..... Kudos. More needed though
pls stop focusing on the buildings, if u couldn't recognise some parts of uniben then u need glasses, by the way, we are talking about the declining quality of graduates that are being churned on a daily basis and u are busy staring at buildings.
