With that they will make sure you fail... The only people they want at government houses in the east are the likes of Hope Uzodinmma, Chris Uba, Emeka Offor, Ohakim and co. Touts and brigands they created... Babangida did it, Obasanjo tried it and Buhari is on it... Any eastern politician with a progressive mindset is up against it.. |
Aconomist:It will take a lot of time and energy to deconstruct your grossly warped mindset... Two of them, I don't have enough, this glorious Sunday morning... It would have been better if we are dealing with issues germain to the discuss, but you are all over the place with these tags you are dishing out wreckleslly. To start with, I don't even know where to start with somebody who proudly defines himself as a "monkey"... E be tinz really.. |
Jashub:While this is totally true and discomforting, it's also a fact that most middle belters were very vigorous in their desperation to be identified as northerners for a very long time... Alligning with the north politically and culturally, fighting fulani battles with pride and happily discarding their identities just to assume the fulani invented wack-one North identity.. That behavioral trend that have lasted for the better part of a century, helped cement the notion that everybody from Benue going upwards are all northerners.. |
Igboarecriminal:What a load of utter bunkum.. |
BKayy:China lost millions to the great match/revolution and the cultural revolution proper.. The japanese killed many chinese but not sure if your figure is not higher... Even if the figure is right, that is 50 million from over a billion people.. The Nigerian government killed over 5 million Igbos, starting from the progroms to the genocidal wars and the aftermath! As at the start of the war, the census had the Igbo population to be just about 15 million in 1966.. So 5 million out of 15 million is 1/3 of the population... You can't compare that with the Chinese... |
No go catch your ancestors oo |
Nkerehi was named after a deity! Just like Umuchu. One of their prominent sons, a doctor based overseas, who is responsible for all the developments happening in the community was in favor of the name change. He's now contesting for governor and all the village rats have combined with political evil forces from the outside to induce a confrontation between the people and their very hardworking son.. That is the background that the op is struggling to tell.. |
Over priced plots of lands in rich neighborhoods in Lagos have made rich folks to still live in small"mansions" over there.. |
The sad reality of politics in the Arab world is that most times, if you don't kill , you will be killed. Very brutal cultural reality. In some oil rich Arab countries like Qatar and Oman, sons that were actually the crown princes went ahead to overthrow their fathers! They couldn't wait for their fathers to die before taking over! Most Arab monarchies are afraid of even family members and their vaulting ambitions, this includes Saudi Arabia where there is an ongoing in-house fighting for power between the crown prince and his uncles. .. The Arab world is littered with a lot of corpses as a result of these kinds of skirmishes.. Terrible as this man's murder was, the chilling reality is that stuff like this is perfectly normal in Arab politics for centuries now.. |
darkwan:Herdsman like you.. |
darkwan:Lol You can't find a convinient space there to start drooling about your darling daddy Buhari? |
Aconomist:I don't believe that all dictators are evil, neither do I believe that all democracies are good... The taste of the pudding is in the eating... South korea, China, UAE, Qatar etc were all built up by either army Generals, communists, oligarchs or absolute monarchs.. Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand had the fakest democracies that were highly productive in terms of being responsive to the aspirations of the people.. Indonesia was set up by Suharto, a General! Many examples like this.. So when you talk of Africans holding their leaders accountable, you have to understand that firstly, you need to have a leadership willing to work for the entire country! But if what you have is a dictatorship like the case of Marcos in the philippines, or PolPot in cambodia, or Buhari in Nigeria, the country will ultimately decay! Economic progress is hard to come by under self centered dictators and illiterate fake democrats alike.. Most African leaders were basically imposed. In the quest to have true African leaderships across the continent, wars have been fought to uproot some of them to no avail.. But when one talks about some of these western impositions and the effects of their loyalty to outsiders on the development of the continent, it sounds like you are giving excuses. Fact is that, if you don't have nationalist leaders accountable to the citizens of their countries, unproductive governance will still be the bane.. |
Aconomist:You need your skull to be "wiped" out real quick because that thing is incapable of critical thinking! Frustrated minds didn't build shanghai or Hong Kong! Inventive minds in position of power did! And I can assure you that building up cities is no rocket science! Nigeria isn't getting it right because of the bad politics here. You have to stop being simplistic in your pedestrian analysis of sundry issues sometimes. In that Asia that gave you China, Qatar and Dubai, we have Yemen, Laos, Bhutan! Nigeria and many African states are better than these countries! So how do you spin that? Will you say the Asians are also re-tarded because of the failures of say Sirilanka, Phillipine or Myanmar? Isn't it obvious to you that it's the leadership in these different countries that steered their countries to either success or failure depending on their imputs while in power? So why can't one look at Africa from that kind of perspective? |
Traveling around Asia, one thing that has occurred to me is that in Nigeria, we are building nothing! Nothing! It is not that we are not building enough, it's just that we are dormant! If you have lived in any city neighborhood in china and left for a year or two, then visit again, you may find it hard to locate your former apartment! Continuously, they are building! Day and night construction! Here, Julius Berger will spend a decade on a road. Not so in Asia. Day and night, the construction company is at work. New skyscrapers everyday because of good policies and the fact that building materials are cheap and are sourced mainly locally. Here Dangote is selling a bag of cement for a trillion and nobody wants to hold him accountable! How can you break even as a real estate developer with such obnoxious costs? It's not rocket science! The Asians made good policies, set high standards, recruited a civil service that is highly efficient and made sure that most building materials and building engineers are sourced locally with the help of consolidated funds in construction banks, they are powering ahead. Buhari muted the idea of a fund for works. Good idea but as usual, nepotism and tribalism will be used to destroy the good idea. Bad leadership is Nigerias problem! |
Good point! Emefiele is a bundle of disappointment! |
Throwback:See finishing...

It's very simple. They were on a mission to help with the rescue efforts of the Kangara school boys abducted by the over pampered fulani "bandits".. Locating the bandits and bringing them to book was made impossible by the present government that has shown no interest whatsoever in arresting the situation. If the NAF are serious about "exposing"the culprits, they should contact one Ahmed "mei gemu" Gumi! He knows the whereabouts of all bandits and fulani hoodlums in Nigeria because the DSS and police and SSS claim they don't know... |
Na guilty conscience dey worry this one.. if you have nothing to fear, ordinary gossips won't trigger your emotions.. People like Adeshina, Sagay and the worst of them, Festus Keyamo need to explain to Nigerians the kind of epiphany they went through at Abuja, that turned them into the opposite characters of what they used to be before Buhari invited them over.. |
The same way the misquoted the other candidate on building of universities in every community? Might look like humble mistakes by the tabloids involved, but when you scratch further, you may find out this was intentionally done by some "cash n carry editors" to rubbish his candidature.. |
Rossnitti:And You know all these from the comfort of your bedroom You shouldn't be sounding so authoritative on issues you know next to nothing about... |
Sharpaly.. No time to check time.. |
blizard44:The story simply leaves one soooo out of sort and upset.. |
PrinceOfLagos:Very irritating characters with that their joke of a candidate.. Anyone that is touted to be a potential presidential candidate is automatically their sworn enemies.. Jonathan, Orji Kalu, Rochas,.. All of them are all evil because one confused Asiwaju wants to be president... |

Ishi Ukwu, Stop disturbing the peace of the whole site with all these your cooked stories.. |
Na who come ask am "which kain tin be dis"? |
discusant:Lol Did that happen again then? That Uzodinmma is wired differently.. |
Queenlovely:Daily Trust is a media organisation started by northerners to "defend their interests" as they deem fit... Just another pro north media organization. @Topic It's now time for the whole southern Nigeria to demand an immediate end to the importation ban on beef! The fulanis don't want to sell to the south, unless we allow them to rape and kill as they like! We should be free to entertain other alternatives from other countries since the government has no rights to starve the people of their protein! |

You shouldn't be sounding so authoritative on issues you know next to nothing about...
