This is why they turned to raping women at Obigbo? These people! This was a man that would vehemently refuse to answer to the Senate just few months ago.. Feeling way too pompous for his own good.. Now, he needs some diplomatic immunity to move around after his crimes against humanity and that can only happen if he gets the Senates nod over his new appointment. .. So? That's how the snake catcher in Cheif went groveling at the feat of the Spsame senate.. Fake hardmen everywhere.. |
MrMaestro:Voting for a candidate who later fails abysmally in his duties because he's bad at his job is TOTALLY different from voting for an ex coupist, who has been involved in over 3 coups.., ruled the country for over a year in a very high handed way.., made calls that supports proven terrorists.., took actions while in government earlier that favoured other countries more than his country and threatened violence against his fellow citizens, whom he promised to soak in their blood like "dogs and baboon"! These are two different scenarios.. In the first case, you made a simple electoral choice that failed! In the second one, with the benefit of hindsight, you still went ahead to make a boneheaded decision that undercuts the interest ofthe general citizens of your country, by handing the machinery of government over to a wayward tyrant, either for personal or sectional goals.. Totally different, bros.. |
This man that had so many corruption cases against him running into billions that the EFCC refused to follow up on..? Hope he took his loot to the great beyond. The tragedy of the whole corruption story in Nigeria is that the sudden death of most perpetrators means that a reasonable chunk of the loot stashed outside the shores of the country may never be recovered. Foreign operatives will wait few years and corner everything while Nigeria still wallows in poverty.. |
RuddyFusion:He's the next that will get the ekweremadu treatment.. he's been begging for it for some time now... |
MsAllison:Tht desert iguana is the most evil soul to walk the face of this country.. |
Some people will be asking you, why do you hate Tinubu? Why are you always mentioning his name ? Bla bla bla bla.... These are the main reasons why... Without Tinubu and his vaulting ambitions, there will be no Buhari in power to violate the serenity of a very peaceful city like Orlu.. You inflicted this evil on us all, well aware of the mans well documented twisted views on ethnic relations in this country and his rabid penchant for cultural chauvinism! You know all that, yet you jumped into the boat! All because they promised you, like a starry eyed juvenile, that you will be made the president afterwards! Now this... All those that brought this evil to this land should never know peace! The Okorochas, the Tinubus, the Amaechis, the Fasholas, Ngiges... All of them... |

MsAllison:Buhari is totally behind the carnage.. |
Nigeria does not belong to the fulanis nor to Buhari! From his first day in power, he has been goading the east to a confrontation. He has marginalised the east beyond belief. Neglected the east in every ramifications and has chosen to always reach for violence at the slightest sign of dissent! We are not and will never be slaves in our own land. Peace without justice is puerile! The Igbos supported Shagari, he was fulani! Supported Yaradua, he was fulani! Supported Nemadi Sambo in Jonathans regime, he too was fulani! So this is not about hating a nothern president as buharist want to frame it. This is about putting and end to executive terrorism and political apartheid under the janja-weed administration of the Daurra Disaster! Buhari brought war to the doorsteps of a very peaceful people, for the sake of our generations yet unborn, we will defend ourselves! Makes perfect sense... |

At this rate, war is inevitable.. |
naijadrivablog:RUGA is nothing but a ploy to assemble hordes of wandering fulanis from all over Africa in specific areas across the different regions of the country. There is no serious effort in that policy towards enhancing greater safety and productivity and all that. It's just a ploy, a well crafted dubious policy to domisticate a very wild and violent culture across the country with the ultimate goal of perenially controlling local politics. I also believe that some of the violent confrontations between these so called herders and some innocent civilians were unleashed intentionally to create a favorable environment for this sort of enterprise. With the killings, the kidnappings, the massacres that have taken place, it's believed that the population will desperately vote for Ruganomics to survive. Essentially, the lack of activity on the part of the security agencies to arrest the downward spiral of the security situation in the country, is very much intentional! They know the camps of these "bandits". They know the sponsors, they know their whereabouts and they know who to call when they want ty talk to them as we can see in the school children kidnapping cases.. That said, it must be pointed out that slowly, the fulanis in this country are becoming way too wrechless with power. They are now trying to play God and it's more like they are now challenging the locals to do something. It will backfire! Lots of communities in this country have come to tie the recent upteek in fulani agression nationwide to Buharis nepotism.. The president has been way too forward with his patented brand of tribalism! Folks are just waiting for him to go by 2023 and then the process of firmly putting an end to this embarrassing behavioral trend will earnestly commence.. |
Grand sycophancy is on the rise unabated in this country and should be reduced.. Not healthy for our collective psyche.. |

Andre Dike? The child no get father? How can you name a child after the mothers surname because you are quarrelling with the father? |

Bede2u:Bros, You have to understand how power works before you go for it... You talk a lot like one Goodluck Jonathan. Naivety? How can you look at the immense gains the north has made over the last half a century because of the rewards of that coup and still fault them? Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, universities, dams , agriculture, defence, Dangote... It was worth it! I'm talking of what should be here, not dwelling on the utopian, I'm being practical... They were presented with the chance by Ironsi, ... They went for it and did a good job at it.. The rest is history.. Even before Nzeogwu struck, zik has already been schemed out by the emerging Sarduana/Tafawa/Akintola alliance. So what was there else to do? Military intervention was the fad then. The Igbos dominated the military but lack of decisiveness and ruthlessness were the bane. You can't be preaching about what is supposed to be when you have the opportunity to grab power in an undefined political environment with mega rewards in oil and gas.. That to me is a whole load of claptrap.. You go and do what you have to do to dominate. Simple.. |
The major project in a country should be to advance the course of social development and to ensure the upliftment of the living standards of the citizens! A country shouldn't be all about keeping it together, killing and maiming to guarantee it's existence, to the extent the existence of the country becomes even more important than the existence and quality of lives of the citizens! The contract is that the state serves the people, and the people fight for the state! A useless country is actually the worst curse to her citizens! The country exists for the citizens not the other way round. In essence, the importance of the country depends on the usefulness of such union to the human beings living in the country. But here, in this convulsing amalgam, we always talk about Nigeria like an abstract! As if the country exists alone or in a vacuum. It's as if Nigeria is god.., some kind of deity that deserves daily obeisance, irrespective of its alarming shortcomings... Nobody queries the obviously utter uselessness of the country to her bemused citizens.. We fought to keep it one, die everyday to keep it one, struggle to keep it one, yet our lives get worse everyday! If the country can't help improve the quality of lives of the citizens and can't advance the course of social justice, what's the essence of it's tortuous existence then? Or are we going to fight another war to reinvent a false union that only works for a totally corrupt bunch of criminal elite? |

Bede2u:The problem with you is that you have formed your view based on the few information available to you and you are not willing to look at events from any other perspective.., so... |
pazienza:Let's look at it this way.. If the Sarduana finished with the west, and having rigged the lethargic NCNC out sort of, who was next? Zik and the Igbos. It's very pedestrian to analyze tht coup as simply an event unleashed to stop the carnage in the west! Before the mayhem there, Igbos have been killed in several massacres up north. Sarduana has made documented anti igbo rhetorics and the alliance between the NPC and NCNC was already crumbling fast because of his wayward ambitions and Azikiwes obstinacy.. The problem with that coup was not Nzeogwu! That coup needed to happen! Lack of action shouldn't be an alternative and the fact was that after waiting for a full year to call the so-called winning parties to form a government, Azikiwe has practically played his last card at a peaceful resolution of the ensuing conflict! The problem was with ifeajuna and his disjointed prosecution of the coup down south and Ironsis alarming mishandling of the aftermath. The coup happened! It failed but an Igbo was still in charge! What did he do next? He started to bend backwards by employing northern officers as his guards! Did Gowon do that? Did Murtala do that? You have to consolidate with trusted hands! As far as I'm concerned, if there was anything wrong with Nzeogwus adventures that evening, it was his unwillingness to extend maximum violence to any unit that disagreed with his command that night! The desperate situation then demands that.. Revolutions are never tea parties! It was an operational exigency that was broadsided by his comrades in Lagos! They paid dearly for that..You want to see how to hyjack power and consolidate ruthlessly thereafter, read about how the northern officers eliminated every opposition after their July coup! I mean as an Igbo, I'm at the receiving end, but you have to give it to them on that score; they never prevaricated at the most important moments! With the benefit of hindsight, if the likes of Abacha, Buhari and Babangida were all given the Sarduana treatment, you don't think Nigeria would have been a better place today..? Was that not what Jerry Rawlings did in Ghana? |
Bede2u:Utter hogwash.. Most of you have this problem of trying to pontificate on issues way above your pay grade! You don't even have the slightest knowledge of what you're talking about but you're determined to talk like an authority on the issue! If any discerning mind doesn't see any correlation between Sarduanas attacks in the middle belt using the army and buharis attack on the same middle belt using the herdsman, then you are just politically naive. To say tht herdmens killings have been here way before Buhari, as if what is going on now is somewhat normal is to say the least criminal! NPC was not just all about the North, the NPC was interested in subjugating the south violently and there are many instances were Sarduana went wild with his demeaning outbursts against the south! Balewa was his willing lackey and as such culpable! A policy of segregation was in full force within the northern civil service for instance, were whites were constitutionaly preferred to be recruited to jobs that can be done by qualified easterners! Sarduana was a rampaging nuisance! Way before the coup, Nzeogwu has complained bitterly about the desperate attempts by the northern minister of defence to flood the army with hordes of unqualified northerners! This was when the buharis, the Abachas, the Babangidas and co were all railroaded into the army with their amorphous certificates to beef up the northern numbers there.. He complained of the federal minister using Hausa to address Nigerian soldiers at parades! Could not understand why the soldiers state of origin has to be ascertained in such events! Moaned about corruption and unproductivity in government. Even danjuma has talked about this..Please go and read "The Nigerian five Majors" by Gbulie.. Soldiers were used to squash the Tiv uprising leading to the killings of many! Akintola was always flying into Kaduna in the dead of the night while "operation wetie" was ongoing in the west to plot with the Sarduana! It led to Awolowo being jailed,.. the 1964 general elections being rigged! And the western streets littered with bodies! The country was spiralling out of control while the Sarduana was talking about Nigeria being his grandfather's "estate"! He needed to be stopped and a gallant officer did that! |
Bede2u:Nzeogwu NEVER committed any "atrocities"! It will be nice if you will humbly retract the statement! Nzeogwu as the Chief of military intelligence unit became aware of the Sarduanas/Balewa/Akintola schemes that were ultimately going to lead to massacres as Buhari/Tinubu politics is doing today, and responsibly unleashed a chain of actions to neutralize the evil culprits! He did well! Irrespective of what later days revisionists would like us to believe! Ironsi took over afterwards and bungled the whole thing otherwise the country was getting out of the woods with that surgical military action.. Nzeogwu was a vintage fearless patriot , who should be celebrated and not villified! Please, kindly take note of these facts... |
VaselineCrew:The country is imploding under the heavy weight of her enermous iniquities! Slowly but surely, the chickens are coming home to rooste.. How can a tribal chauvinist, who believes solidly in imposing his tribal beliefs over the rest of the country be wondering why the countrys fault lines are getting wider with everyday he's in office? Starting to look like these guys actually believe that stoopid take about them being "born to rule".. They must be surprised we haven't accepted "gods decree" to make the lord's over us... |
As long as all contracts, jobs, positions, investments and infastructures go to your people, Nigeria is sweet.. Essentially, you want to enslave others in their own country! The country is broken.. , and it's people like you that caused that.. |
