Buhari has "demarketed" this country beyond redemption.. |
This guy is too young to die this way! 19 years!? This is wrong |
I like this.. |
Abia1stS0N:Abia state is an oil and gas producing state.. Lots of the gas that will be piped to Zinder via Marada in Niger republic will come from Abia state and neighboring Imo state! If Abia state is allowed to keep all her oil and gas revenue the same way Zamfara is allowed to keep her earnings from gold, the state will surely be amongst the richest in the country.. The federal government can't be taking all oil earnings from a state and turn back to give the state peanuts while the same states are accused of being poor. . |
The only way you stop deviants from turning criminal behavior into the norm is to unleash stringent purnishment. You can't reward such behavior and expect it to stop . |
AnanseK:Lol, What you don't know and may never know is that there's huge money in trading, that's if you will be humble enough to imbibe the skills.. You all underate trading a lot and make unpleasant jokes about traders here everyday, and I just laugh... Trading, especially in a place like Nigeria where almost every consumables are imported, is a huge money spinner! But you have to learn the skills perfectly well, otherwise a primary school dropout already in the system for years, will use you do yeye.. You will be there bemoaning bad market and he will be making millions. Those guys you see spend years learning how to trade from their uncles are going through their own "universities"! Believe me! That thing demands skills! And there is huge money there! I remember when some folks used to make jokes about some people that always make noise about how they "developed" here and there, when they're just ordinary inconsequential petty traders in lonely "4 by 4" shops. Well, that line of jokes reduced here after "Evans the kidnapper" revealed that ordinary traders at Ladipo paid over a million USD to be released after he kidnapped them! One paid almost 5 million dollar, and you never heard of his name before!!! No genuine non corrupt civil servants or company workers in Nigeria can ever afford that huge amount unless he stole the cash! It's not juju, it's not scamming, it's not drugs.. Most of these guys are just ruthless traders eager to detect new opportunities and willing to invest skillfully thereof.. |

Very awkward name.. |
onuman:The university sef, you know nothing about.. I'm dead sure I know more about the goings ons in that university than you. I actually have a close relation who worked as a contractor there. So I can tell you authoritatively, how the payment system was carried out... If Rochas decides to fight it out in court, the Imo state government is going to struggle to prove that structures there were funded with state funds.. Yes, the lands weree appropriated by the state government as lands to be used to build Imo state university, but even the owners of the land have not been adequately compensated, because most of them gave out their personal lands with the hope that a state university is about to be built in their backyard... You are just full of it... , One haughty loquacious character desperate to impress.. |
Amah70:How am I supporting impunity, nwokem!? I'm from the same Orlu zone too... I just think that government sucks at managing stuff like this effectively. The way that university was built, it would be better to allow a private consortium to run it.. Bringing a government headed by one Ozodimgba to run it is nothing but a prelude to disaster.. |
Zaggafrank:I'm talking of watching those channels freely from your apartment in China. You can't do so unless with special permits like I mentioned before... HK has her own totally different administrative system with their "one China two systems" policy... All those channels exist in HK. The media houses do have their accredited reporters in China, but ordinary Chinese don't get to watch these channels like say ordinary Nigerians.... I was talking of mainland China.. |
For a longtime, you can't watch the BBC in China. BBC, CNN, Fox news, ABC, google, youtube, Facebook, twitter, Yahoo news.., every online western news portal is currently banned in China! I don't even know how the west tolorates that, especially when Chinese apps like tiktok and wechat are making waves in the western World. The Chinese even banned Skype and whatsapp!!! Once they don't like the liberal disposition of the western media outlets, the next action is to ban.. Running up to the olympics, all these websites were open in China! You can even watch critical youtube channels that rubbishes the Chinese government from China. But few months after the olympics, the Chinese clamped down on all of these sites with little or no protests from the west. The likes of CNN and MSNBC and BBC can only be viewed in very few public places like the hotels. Most times with permission. Individually, you have to use some sort of vpn to access any of the sites, otherwise, you have to make use of the Chinese sites or the few western sites not yet noticed by the Chinese.... The Chinese government knows how to control the messaging and is not ready to share the control of the people with any foreign entity. That's why the Trump presidency's arms twisting tactics against them must have proven a big deal in Beijing. I think most wetern governments over the last 40 years or so have gotten so used to the Chinese "queer" behavior on sundry issues and have looked the other way whenever these kinds of behavior are showcased. The Chinese are aware of this and have taken time to assert themselves strongly on issues they consider to be very important to safeguarding their national interests including curtailing the invasion of the Chinese society by foreign news organizations, with unrestricted broadcasting.. In so many ways this is good too. It helps the leadership of the country to steer the citizens along patriotic lines in a world in which the western powers have turned imperialism and subjugation as lethal tools for the pursuant of their overreaching foreign policy goals.. |
Amah70:What is impunity? And how am I supporting impunity? Between Rochas and the crook called Uzodinmma, who supports impunity the more ? How can you even try to pass whatever that's going between the two as a fight against corruption? |
In all these vituperations, this mistake of a human being never apportioned any sort of blame to his fulani brothers! That's telling! This is the man who went to channels TV to explain how the Ruga programme will be used to lure fulanis from other parts of Africa into Nigeria and how he is ready in bauchi with enough "lush green lands with fauna" to welcome them. None of them blames the fulanis no matter thelevel of carnage and destruction wrought by these characters. When Agatu in Benue was on fire, Bala Mohammed was quiet. Infact, the way fulani elite carry on these days, it's as if they are genuinely surprised with the push back against the herdsmen across the country! You get the feeling that somehow , they are convinced in their actions and don't understand why other people should protest for being killed... |
Ekweremadu has been conducting himself with a certain level of sanity and thoughtfulness since that total manhandling in Germany.. |
Very beutiful university with good structures. Brand new. Students already enrolling... All you need is such a good environment for greater learning.. Now, uzodimgba and Rochas will scatter this school as they fight themselves dirty. The state shouldn't be in charge of such projects as that will easily lead to mismanagement! Very big shame.. |
SuperBold:You guys can twist history at will to back a faulty narrative! The army came out to prove on record that most of the victims of the looting were igbo businesses! It has been proven that most of the looting and carnage were unleashed by the Awawa boys and the one million boys, your eternally wayward street urchins, all under the direction of pro establishment Yoruba politicians like Sanwo olu and co.. How you lot are desperately trying to play the victim in an environment in which your unemployable sons leading different cult groups to destroy and pillage is simply stunning! But never mind; the agberoism that has characterized Lagos politics of late will ultimately catch up with you guys in the near future and you won't have anyone else to blame.. |
He should have won weavon and tied rapper to atleast fool the invigilators |
If you have lived in the north and witnessed elections or events related to sharing of national cash or goods, you will be laughing at the Southerners who will do whatever they can to maintain the rules.. During my youth service days, a polio eradication campaign in which corpers were to play cordinating roles turned into a warfare because of the mere monetary gains! They locals gathered at the LGA headquarters and were vehemently upset about the regulations which stipulated that corpers will be in charge..We ran into the corpers lodge! It was a female supervisor from kwara who had to negotiate before we were allowed to participate.. Madam was genuinely afraid and told us to be very careful... They weren't interested in the vacination per se but in the money being paid, which was seen as one of the national largesse.. Elections in the north has NEVER been credible and will never be, because to meet up with the inflated numbers, kids have to vote.. No other part of country witnesses this type of high level of underage participation in the electoral process like the North.. |
Nigeriadondie1:Philanthropists are not all the same.. Same for 'non philanthropists'.. It's very unfair to suggest he's going to be a bad leader simply because he is a philanthropist.. Rochas is a different ball game altogether.. He was doing good until APC used the fake promise of helping him lead Nigeria at some point to destract him.. And the university on every street, I think he has clarified that.. I think people are just latching on anything to discredit the man because he comes with no negative baggage.... That said, this is Anambra we are talking about... Not sure he will win. Every billionaire in Anambra wants to be the governor and he doesn't come across as the type willing to do the roforofo needed to win.. so.. |
Are we being colonized by the fulanis without knowing it..? |
Ibrahimmrfish:We are not talking of the gas pipeline to 'godknowswhere' here.... Ofcourse, those pipelines are being brandished as gigantic projects that are economically important to Nigeria, when in actual facts they are just trying to fire up power stations in Niger republic! I mean, who in Europe is interested in your gas to make you plough in such huge amounts, when Russia is almost through with her pipelines to Germany! Transatlantic gas/energy pipelines come with sophisticated international politics to booth! Your perenially weak country will never dare to engage in such high wire politics because her leaders are far more interested in regime survival than national growth... Even if we have waiting buyers there, with the huge amounts involved, and the vibrant Insurgency going on around these areas, who's going to secure such important but extremely vulnerable investment? Your competitors can easily rent an extremist group and 'boom', you are out of business.. We are talking about plans to link the north with the weird refinery built around Niger-Nigeria borders. That refinery needs to be investigated to start with. Who actually owns that refinery. Why will the Nigeriens prefer to locate such economically sensitive project in the remote and volatile border communities that are close to Nigeria, instead of the middle of their country or elsewhere! It was rumoured in the past that some northern elites played significant roles in erecting that refinery! Where are they getting their crude from! Must be Nigeria., So are they getting that legally or are the crude being stolen? I'm sure that when these questions are answered correctly, Nigerians will start to understand the undercurrents behind Buharis weird policy towards the refinery... The government just said they will be buying from the refinery basically to meet up with the needs of the north! Explain to everybody reading, how buying the same product that you produce locally, from another country helps uplift your own country! we are waiting... |
Not when you have an utterly confused president, whose patriotism and loyalty to the national cause is highly questionable... Your country is about commissioning the biggest refinery in the world, capable of meeting all her petroleum needs, but you are busy as the president, constructing a pipeline to your maternal home in Zinder via Marada-Niger republic, just to keep the refinery there busy and profitable for another country! The Americans and the Canadians share the same ancestry, but you won't see an American president implementing obnoxious policies that favour the Canadians more than the Americans... It's called the "defense of national interests"! People with such alarming levels of administrative confusion as the Daurra Disaster are not qualified to manage a pigsty, not talk of being the president of the country with the biggest population of black people on earth.. |
Story! They want to do a real comprehensive national identification system with serious database without making everything so open. They don't want that to be used both for census and elections since that will open their nyansh.. but will like that to be used for security checks and citizen monitoring. |
blamingthedevil:Tinubu is a crook! Coman take my bicycle naah. |
Rebuild it naah.., based on the original designs. That's what others do. Was visiting the 'great wall' sometime in the past and noticed that many Chinese workers were very busy adding blocks here and there and I was flabbergasted! Asked my Chinese friend what was going on, since this is suppose to be an ancient structure from hundreds of years back. She just told me with a funny smile that most times the structures would have been destroyed with time and what they do is to simply rebuild it based on the original designs! That's, block the public from there, renovate, then reopen... I said okooo.. |
KosiGee:You sabi them... Moses Kpakor broke his ankle at Owerri stadium one evening and that was how he started struggling towards the end of his career... Amir Angwir? The one that died on the pitch. He fainted in a match weeks before, yet no precautionary measures... Up Nigeria! Benjamin Fejeku! No 10 for plateu united then.. Stadiums used to be full then! Overflowing, especially during WAFU Cup competitions and CAF Cup... Aaaaah, David Ngodigha and Peter Rufai... Lots of people underated Peter Rufais excellent contributions to the super eagles deu to his mediocre showings at France 98. But dude was called up from retirement! In my opinion, he was by far Nigerias best goalkeeper of that era.. |
He will not obey! Nti ike Buhari? He will rather die than obey.. |
KosiGee:Dahiru Sadi them, Fregene them, Osaro Obabaifo, Dominic Iorfa... Aaaaah, Mai bloda.. Remember watching these guys then with my late dad who was a great football fan.. Good memories.. |
The fact is that to collect rent dey hard these days oo. Tenants just dey form Rambo... Pay, some no go gree pay, them go dey bad mouth you join. |
These guys were very big then .. Yisa Shofoluwe, Khadiri Ikhana, Owolabi, Henry Nwosu, lots of them... |
