Better arrange with your fellow Hoteliers in Owerri to buy the now high value land in Owerri where IMSU is temporarily located. Build a Private University there in Owerri so as to manage it the way you would want private person or organization to manage the university built by IMSG in quiet Ideato with students hostels for tens of thousands of resident students, and with very cheap rent in Ideato, students in Owerri cough out N150,000 a room for one academic session.

Develop more sense, not only sense for your business of hotels in Owerri.

We can sell the now highly valued land in Owerri on which Imo state university is temporarily located, in order to recover a sizable part of the government funds put in building Eastern Palm University. Let the hoteliers in Owerri buy the land and build a City University of Owerri on the land, inherit the two TETFUND buildings that are the only university structures on the land.

Let the students of IMSU move down to Eastern Palm University built in a serene area and with hostel accommodations.

Imo state shall be better off with this arrangement. Don’t support impunity because of clannish consideration.

Most philanthropist don’t make good politicians. Remember Rochas, he was a colossal failure.
Philanthropy and politics are quite different. In as much as he is to be commended for bringing medical facilities back home, I was disappointed when the man said if it is true that he would build a university in each local government.
If he said vocational and skill acquisition centers in each LG that is far better so as to improve the skill base of the youths in Anambra.
I am yet to see his manifesto for the state.
