Juliusmalema:Few igbos not all. My town had no stuupid eze. The one there now was an offshoot of the warrant chief nonsense |
Shoot anybody sent by fulani jihadist to come and loot your resources. They have been mining their gold for decades illegaly while sharing the resources. Next will be to get them off our oil and gas resources. Everybody should "possess his possession". |
Propaganda |
psucc:Put all of them in no fly list too |
OZOnNengiTheory:I hope you are not planning to rape DJ Switch... The way you are fixated on her, I hope the poor gal can survive you |
They organized their Awawa boys and one million boys to loot and destroy igbo businesses out of envy. Then they turned around to complain that IPOB wanted to destroy their Lagos State!! Children of hate and perdition! Our benevolent accommodators.. |
gidgiddy:Simple.. |
helinues:It's coming and the only thing you can do about it is to whine on nairaland.. |

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said on Friday that Salah, 28, returned a positive test but is not displaying any symptoms. It later added that Salah underwent a second test, which confirmed he has Covid-19. "Salah is keeping a high spirit and is not showing any symptoms of the virus," said the EFA in a statement. It said the other members of the team had tested negative. Egypt host Togo in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying on Saturday, followed by the reverse fixture in Togo on Tuesday. Salah will now self-isolate and could miss Liverpool's next two matches. The Reds host Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday, 22 November, followed by a Champions League tie against Atalanta at Anfield on Wednesday, 25 November. Salah has started all eight of Liverpool's Premier League games this season, scoring eight goals. LINK: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54935734 |
He is totally removed from reality.. I wouldn't be surprised if he is genuinely astounded as to why folks are protesting. Dude has been in the national Assembly since 1999 or thereabout. |
LegendHero:If they say they are not then THEY ARE NOT! And if the Oba of Lagos says that Lagos is NOT Yorubaland, then it means that Lagos is not part of yorubaland! You are "educated", so I presume you should be able to grasp simple points easily... |
Deep thinker... |
LegendHero:Go and tell that to the Oba of Benin... You guys are a rare breed of treacherous characters. . What makes you guys happy is exactly what makes others sad... Since you have accepted that the original owners of Lagos are from Benin, you can now go to bed and sin no more.. |
Unklekelvin:Tell them ooo
|
LegendHero:Wike never said ikwerres owned Rivers either.. He simply tried in the past to link his family tree to Benin just like the Oba! Can we agree on that? |
LegendHero:Mentioned you guys because you guys have been all over the threads harassing everybody since Wike dropped what you guys presumed to be a "bombshell".. We were all here when the oba made that statement years back and nobody likes bringing it up as much as you guys do with similar statements from Eastern minority leaders. Why the fixation? That's why |
LegendHero:Hello!? Do you know what you are doing with this particular post? Do you understand the implications? Wikipedia OVER the views of the CUSTODIAN OF LAGOS HISTORY AND TRADITIONAL INSTITUTIONS!?!? Hello? Are you sure you are a true omualabi ![]() |
LegendHero:Ikwerres are NOT the only people in Rivers, my dear educated friend! The folks at Obigbo being slaughtered daily to your unending excitement are indigenous to Rivers State! Obigbo/Oyigbo (choose the one that gives you orgasm) is in Rivers State! And they're the ones being killed as igbos! So how am I claiming what is mine? Or are you saying that none igbos are the ones who chased away the people of Obigbo to start ipob activities there? |
LegendHero:Educated man Sir! You are the one acting like a deer in head light here. The Oba said this and I qoute again: "Modern day Lagos was founded by Prince Ado, the son of the Oba of Benin, Prince Ado was the first Oba of Lagos, the son of the Bini King, Prince Ado, named the town Eko until the Portuguese explorer Ruy de Segueira changed the Maritime town to Lagos, which at that time from 1942 was Portuguese expedition center down the African Coast." Is that quote too sophisticated for your highly educated mind to decipher? |
LegendHero:What are you blabbing about? Did I tell you Zik is not from Benin or from Tanganyika? He can come from wherever, that's his kettle of fish.. what I'm saying is that the Oba of Lagos traced his ancestry to Benin, just like Wike and as you pointed out, Zik! So why is Wikes view being used by your type to demonize igbos and make it look like they are trying to steal Portharcout by "attaching by force" as you guys prefer to put it?? Especially when another ikwerre man has given a contrary view? If igbos should not claim Rivers because of Wikes outburst? Can we extend that idea to Yorubas as it relates to Lagos because of the view of the Oba of Lagos ![]() |
Kyase:"“Modern day Lagos was founded by Prince Ado, the son of the Oba of Benin, Prince Ado was the first Oba of Lagos, the son of the Bini King, Prince Ado, named the town Eko until the Portuguese explorer Ruy de Segueira changed the Maritime town to Lagos, which at that time from 1942 was Portuguese expedition center down the African Coast." Oba of Lagos 2017 What is the difference between this and what Wike said and why can't we have some peace here Why should the obas view be overlooked while Wikes outburst should become the defining voice going forward? |
Kyase:So you can come and take your "anti-igbo serium"! |
oyatz:It's now not a Yoruba affair? Why have you guys been so excited about this?? Why starting all these threads? What is the Yoruba gain if the igbos fight with the minorities?? |
"The statement reads: “Coming from the palace, with what I was told by my late paternal grandmother who is a descendant of Oba Ovonramwen Nogbaisi and also reading from factual Historical books, let me share this Knowledge with you all on Eko/Lagos." Oba of Lagos 2017 |
LegendHero:Stop insulting me. I don't want us to scatter the thread with insults! Oba of Lagos traced his origin to Benin! Wike traced his origin to Benin!! Amaechi traced his origin to igboland!!! Can we all agree on that and move on ![]() |
LegendHero:The Oba never retracted his statement that Lagos is not Yoruba! Read your link! He only said that he doesn't mean that Benin owns Lagos! Dude traced the ancestry of the progenitors of Lagos to Benin! Same way Wike traced his family tree to wherever! So what's the big deal? Why all the noise? |
LegendHero:What re you trying to do? The Oba traced the ancestry of the owners if Lagos to beenin same way Wike did!! So why are you guys from yorubaland jumping out of your skins over Wikes outburst but quiet over that of the Oba of Lagos ![]() |
Lagos not part of Yorubaland – Oba Akiolu The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has claimed that Lagos State is not part of Yoruba land. Akiolu’s statement is coming barely a week after he publicly humiliated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi at an event. In a statement from Akiolu’s palace, the monarch traced the historical background of the state and why it should not be regarded as part of Yoruba land. The statement reads: “Coming from the palace, with what I was told by my late paternal grandmother who is a descendant of Oba Ovonramwen Nogbaisi and also reading from factual Historical books, let me share this Knowledge with you all on Eko/Lagos. "Modern day Lagos was founded by Prince Ado, the son of the Oba of Benin, Prince Ado was the first Oba of Lagos, the son of the Bini King, Prince Ado, named the town Eko until the Portuguese explorer Ruy de Segueira changed the Maritime town to Lagos, which at that time from 1942 was Portuguese expedition center down the African Coast. “It was a major centre of the slave trade until 1851. Lagos was annexed by Britain via the Lagos treaty of cession in 1861, ending the consular period and starting the British Colonial Period. The remainder of modern day Nigeria was seized in 1886 when the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria was established in 1914 Lagos was declared its capital due to the struggle of the Bini King. "Lagos experienced growth prior to the British Colonial rule and even more rapid growth during the Colonial rule throughout the 1960s, 70s, continued through the 80s and 90s till date. Thanks to the Awori’s, Bini’s, Yoruba’s, migrants across the nation and world at large, as no particular group of people can take the glory alone. “Lagos is made up of Lagoons and creeks. The Lagos lagoon, Lagos Harbour, five cowne creeks, Ebute-Metta creeks, Porto-Novo creeks, New canal, Badagry creeks, Kuramo waters and Light house creeks." I'm still waiting for Yorubas here to explain to all those reading why they support Wikes view about Rivers State but will Never support the view of the Oba of Lagos as it regards the ownership of Lagos! Wike said he's not igbo and all of you have been foaming in the mouth, although Amaechi his brother has a contrary view! The Oba of Lagos has been quoted to say he is not Yoruba and that Lagos is not Yoruba! My question is: why are these Yorubas still claiming Lagos and why are they not following their advice to the igbos as it regards the view on Lagos/Yorubas? Why all these threads to over labour Wikes outburst? HAccord:IPOB IPOB IPOB, KANU KANU KANU ..... Yet it's the fulani herdsmen that will SURELY Kill and ransack communities this night! What kind of hatred is this!? How can you be so riled up by a group that is largely peaceful to the extent of tolorating the muderous escapades of a proven geenocidal group? Are these people well at all? |
Nwadiuto247:The Oba of Lagos came out openly to say that he is not Yoruba and that Lagos in not Yoruba! Openly! Oba of Lagos!! The custodian of Lagos history and tradition!!! Why is it that you and your type glossed over that statement and never challenged him as you continued as if Lagos is Yorubaland? And you do this while persistently wanking off on whatever an incoherent Wike said?? How is it that you are so excited that Wike the governor of Rivers said he is not igbo, but not excited that Amaechi, who handed over to him openly claimed to be Igbo? Two of them coming from the same ikwerre? What actually drives you lot crazy about the so-called quarrel between the Igbo and her minority neighbors?? |
