Woke up this early in the morning and instead of thanking God for all his mercies, all you can do is to start foaming at the mouth about Nnamdi kanu!? You are not worried about Boko Haram or fulani herdsmen or the so-called "kidnappers" that have now turned the major highways into a war front. All your energy today will be dissipated on one Nnamdi kanu? You don't think it's too early? All these paid propaganda on Kanu, do you guys actually think that if kanu is killed today, that will be the end of the Biafran agitations? You don't think that someone "worse" than him may take over?

Nothing wrong with that. Australia, Canada, New Zealand and of course the United States of America are all anglophone countries today because millions of English people ran from Britain to these places! Don't ever denigrate emigration because most of the funds going to different families in Nigeria today, that has helped these families stay afloat are funds remitted by Nigerians in the diaspora. Even China has tens of millions of people living outside of China! If the Nigerian government is short of ideas on how to tap into this diasporan population to help develop the country, the blame should lie with the Nigerian government and not with those who left to add more value to their lives..

I believe that all these are hypothetical. That said, forget the rants of the alarmists. Nothing like that will happen. But if the Americans decides to attack, whatever happened in Iraq and Afghanistan will not repeat here because in those countries, there exists different military organisations with proven ideological beliefs that ran contrary to western ideals. By that I mean both the Taliban and the Saddam defence forces! Here, unless in the Boko Haram dominated north, nobody will be ready to mount any ideological struggle against any western invasion because fulani irredentism has always been a greater danger. So essentially, We're like a riped Mango! Any of the super powers can easily pluck us. Why? We are seriously devided. We have very huge fault lines that keep growing bigger because of nepotism in governance. We have a very repressive regime in power and most dangerously, the future is bleak. Folks want change but they also know that the change they want can't come under this administrative set up. These have led to uprisings that have been put down brutally! So? People are basically hopeless at the moment!

That means that if the OP is right, lots of Nigerians might even help the Americans to come and pluck their riped mangos! Like i said before, we're in this precarious situation because of Stoopid rulers. America is not contemplating the invasion of say Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia or even Egypt or South Africa! Why? Those countries that got their independence around the time we got ours, have biult up their citizens and military set-up up to standards that anybody, no matter how powerful will think of how to manage the dire consequences that will come with such actions. Yet, instead of putting Nigerias inebriated leaders on the spot for failing to do this, emergency Patriots and perennial defenders of the status quo want you and me to believe that it's the citizens who rose against oppressive governance that are to be blamed! They are desperate to blame the over maligned citizens for the consequences of bad governance by a corrupt political elite! Does that make sense?

I can't be a patriot to an "utopian state"! Before I can worry my head about the safety of Nigeria, I have to ask myself; "does Nigeria worry about me "? This country is being run in the worst way possible. We have a situation for instance where no single herdsmen has been arrested, prosecuted and jailed for all the killings in the middle belt! Not one! Inspite of the thousands of killings! Have you seen a country run like that? Unless in war zones! The country needs to be invaded!

Is there anything that America will do to Nigeria that will be worse than what Buhari and his cohorts are doing to this unfortunate country as we speak? Maybe they have an agenda here. So what are we supposed to do? Since 1960, Nigerian leaders have had all the opportunities they need to biuld a strong country, but refused. So if the Americans want to enjoy themselves here, I don't really care.. We are already down, so why fear any further fall..?

We should also make a law to purnish those who have turned the election of ex coupists as presidents into a cultural habit! If you know the dangers involved in making coups in this country when the likes of Buhari and Babangida organized their coups, you will know that there's no way anybody who overlooked all those risks and liife threatening consequences to attempt hijacking power will respect any sort of democratic tenets when he eventually finds himself in power wether as a military ruler or a democratic president.

They should just keep quiet! He's obviously pursuing a personal goal but his "reason" for defecting seem to have energized the SE call for the presidential slot of the PDP. I think all elected officers in the SE under the pdp , should just keep calm for some weeks and see how this plays out.. I'm starting to suspect that south Easts quest for the presidency might be one of the reasons Wike went ballistic at Obigbo..

People don finish for Nigerias roads shaaa.. That was how I read on this site about the death of one handsome doctor from Mbaise who died along Lagos - Benin expressway while returning from his youth service at ogun state and I didn't know this was the same guy who helped treat my dad few weeks back.. Very young bright guy just trying to drive his new car home after service! That was end! We will all finish before they consider doing something radical about road safety in Nigeria..
