CelebritiesRe: Peter And Paul Okoye Celebrate Their 39th Birthday Today (Photos) by Rugaria: 12:25pm On Nov 18, 2020
While looking at identical twins, am I the only one who somehow feels that the parents can't swear on which one came out first!? I mean in some hospitals, the process is so messed up that babies from different parents have been misplaced! How much more misplacing first born with the second before explaining to the parents who might be too excited to keep the "order of events" at that initial stage? Very dizzy there..

i get this....sincerely you are entitled to decide whatever interests you...the points you raised can be somehow valid if discussed in another context..How are we sure this couple do not have the means to take care of these kids.....I am also a fan of celebrating your wins in your private space but it doesnt mean people that do theirs in public are wrong....if i am not feeling what they are celebrating, i moveeeeeeee
Ok nah . Nothin spoil.. Happy celeberations to them..

if its a big deal for the people involved...then it is a big deal....situations should be measured against the expectations and aspirations of people involved...This might not be a big deal for someone else but if it is a big deal for this couple, we should accept it like that
It's no big deal! Are we not over-dramatising giving birth like pigs! So much so that Nigerian pastors have now started huge industrial movement on our heads. Baby this, baby that!? Kilode? Some people stay for years after marriage without kids, intentionally not making babies. . People jump up and down about having babies these days, babies they may not be ready to train! More than ten million almajiris in Nigeria! All products of "i must have babies by fire by force"! I don't know the reason for the noise. They should all celebrate in their living rooms whenever a baby arrives. I personally don't find all these drama interesting..

Eeeeeyah, I know you are yet to recover from the loss of your decampee governor to APC

I pray God to help you overcome the heavy loss
Crazy the way some people imagine and wish others are groaning in pain.. Even if the whole SE governors decamp to APC, ordinary folks won't .. For obvious reasons. The party of fulani herdsmen has proven over and over again that it has nothing positive to offer.

CultureRe: Who Will Fix This Black Man's Nose? by Rugaria:
Do we need to go to Egypt for that much craved validation? There were pyramids in present Enugu state. Ancient Igbo pyramids! I'm sure most igbos here don't even know! But from iron smelting, through the bronze culture to pyramids, the ancient igbos were not found wanting. The terrain in igboland never helped to preserve them but I wonder why Successive Enugu state governments have never thought of pouring billions into refurbishing these rare projects. I was at the Badaling section of the great Wall in 2005 and the Chinese people were busy, working with bare hands to refurbish the great Wall! Today, if you go there, you will think it never witnessed any rot. The Enugu pyramids could be a game changer for Nigerias tourism if skillfully harvested, together with the rock formations in Platue, the Obudu, Udi hills, Yankari and all those rock formations around Nigeria like the Zuma and Olumo rocks..

PoliticsRe: IBB, Abdulsalam Back Formation of North-Central Peoples Forum by Rugaria: 4:28am On Nov 18, 2020
IBB and Abdulsalami are not totally different from Buhari in terms of how they view a monolithic north. They were in power and we know their history. They may not be as brazenly segregational as the clown there now but they were profoundly pro one North. I don't think that has changed. I just think they're making some politically correct statements here because of the caliber of the people that were visiting them on the issue. They were all northern foundamentalists during their time, maybe not on the same scale as Buhari who's just full of it. Babangida was the person under whose administration a treacherous state/local governments creation exercise was started. That was how two states in the north could have almost the same amount of local governments with a whole region like the SE. How is that remarkably different from what we are seeing today? When we are talking about the middle belt, this two are not good examples because of the fact that they obviously have a polluted ancestry.

PoliticsRe: 2023; Tips For Igbos Concerning Political Game And The Need To Ignore Deceivers by Rugaria: 10:42pm On Nov 17, 2020
Nwadiuto247:
Those who always scream that South East has no electoral value are either ignorant or deceiving themselves.

Election is not only about president alone. Other component parts of governance- the governors, senate and House of Reps members are very important as well.

When you look at South East region with five governors, fifteen senators and over forty House of Reps members and you say they have no electoral value because you think their voting strength is not big as others, you are knowingly or unknowingly disgracing yourself. Go and ask Buhari the agony he passed through in the hands of a senate that was not on his side during his first tenure.

During elections, parties struggle hard to win more governors, senators and Reps than the other party.

Anybody that thinks that PDP will be happy to lose the various seats they have in the SE is actually deceiving himself/herself.

On the other hand, anybody who thinks that APC will not be happy to win the seats presently occupied by PDP in the SE is also deceiving himself/herself. Dont let anybody deceive you with their nonsensical electoral value theory that is based on gross foolishness and deceit.

I urge you my people to henceforth begin to vote based on personality and remove the PDP sentiments which you have used over the years.

Sentiment does not produce good candidates. Forget about party, vote personality.

Remove sentiments on your neighbours because they bear Igbo names. Enough of that crap. Go for quality pls.

Also learn to play sportsmanship in politics. No hard feelings on your opponents rather keep strategizing on the way forward after each political game. Continue to build bridges across the region. No region can make it alone.

Finally dont allow Nnamdi kalu to deceive you. Go and get your voters card when they start giving it. On the election day go and cast your vote to the candidates of your choice.

The same way you dont give up when your business is not doing well, dont give up when the electoral system seem not to be in good shape. Lets continue to strive for good, we shall achieve it.
Nnamdi kanus way is the only way the igbo man will achieve his full potentials! Anybody talking about PVC and voters card during elections when the plot to rig that elections in 2023 is already in progress is trying to deceive... Time for everyone to answer his father's name. It's not working. Period!

Very funny man. You have been scheming to join the janja-weed party for years.. Buhari keeps pressing your mumu button and you keep falling left and right. Fact is that at this moment, with the crop of governors we have today in the east, no one cares again even if you guys join the ZANU-PF party. Lots of igbos are slowly coming to terms with the fact that the governors are part of the problem and that the political establishment in Abuja will rather make a man from comoros president than an Igbo.. The choices left for the east are slowly narrowing and ultimately post 2023, "separation party" will naturally be the majority party in the east ...

These guys have international support! I suspect some western countries adept at using low key insurgency to destabilize states so as to achieve some selfish foreign policy objectives! There's no way the Nigerian government will not know these countries arming Boko Haram. This is because they have captured lots of Boko Haram fighters including commanders and because weapons and logistical organization will always leave traces. But because we are ruled endlessly by cowards and compound ijiots alike, the federal government has refused vehemently to name and shame these countries so that Nigerian citizens can at least start to understand what's going on. There have been reports by villagers of helicopters flown by "white people" dropping weapons and supplies to Boko Haram in captured villages! Who are these white people? Where are they from and who sent them? The only reason I can fathom as to why Nigerias leaders are afraid to out boko Haram sponsors is because they are afraid of loosing their positions and not because they love this country.

1) Are mining and bunkery' the same?

2) There are Indigenes of Niger Delta (sometimes in collaboration with their State Governments) that have license for oil exploration.

3) Artisinal miners operate in ALL States where valuable minerals can be found and the business is centuries old.
So "artisanal bunkery" should be legalised too, right? Just open up a body so they register and start off "legally", ok?

It actually takes some nerve for a product of a culture full of miscreants to accuse decent folks fighting for their rights of being "miscreants".

Bunkering is different, why the artisanal miners do the mining, oil bunkerers vandalise some other persons investment and steal from it. Mining licencese can be obtained by any niger delta state or individual like Belema oil did and develop the wells and start drilling.

PoliticsRe: Unreported Case Of Northerners Masaccre In The East by Rugaria:
PrinceGallant:

In the past few days I have seen cases of gun shot wounds referred from the FMCs around, all are originally northern residents in the Southeastern part of the country who had to escape when IPOB members unleashed mayhem on Northern residents. I have had close interaction with these patients who narrated their ordeal, how lucky they were to escape with such degree of injuries and how others have been very unlucky and even lost their lives..

It then baffles me how certain citizens of this country have occupied themselves, incite others to violence on a massacre that never happened but turned blind eye on what actually happened. I’m amazed though at the silence from the usual quarters and how the social media and other media platforms have remained silent and non vehement in reporting the killings and destruction that happened in the Southeast whose victims are originally Northerners...

To say it loudly and clearly Nigeria is a despicable country with different shades of bigots whose humanity only come to the forefront when there’s politics to be played with the loss of lives and yes politics was played with the events in Lekki as championed by conflict entrepreneurs, merchants of hate and fake news and mercenary enforcers who seek to profit from violence.. Same people who were verbose about what never happened in Lekki looked on while carnage was taking place in Rivers and the Southeast, a brand of hypocrisy that stands very tall and walks erect.

Indeed Our sense of justice and fairness is lost while we allow bigotry and hatred to define our humanity....
We all have a choice to make about the type of society we want; whether we want a just and peaceful society that treats every Nigerian equally irrespective of their religion, ethnicity or region; or we want the type that allows us to feel some lives are worthless because they belong to a region, a religion or ethnic group. Surely we can never have it both ways.
Instead of you to be focused in life so you can find a reasonable means of livelihood in that your ibadam, you are all over the internet spreading all sorts of afojaistic lies against umu Chineke. Seriously, how do you intend to make it in life with this level of premordial mischief?

PoliticsRe: Why Can't There Be Artisanal Oil Drillers In South South? Why Call It Bunkery by Rugaria: 7:28am On Nov 17, 2020
The guys in SS also have to be blamed for this. They're disoriented and disorganized. There are not much solidarity between ethnic groups there but they like to front a fake "common front".Their willingness to accept peanuts from the same set of people destroying their lands while looting their resources ,as "security contracts" is mainly the reason why this disjointed system has gone on for long.. The north have been looting their resources and folks in SS tagged notherners "our traditional allies"! This is where tht allignment has brought everybody.. How can we find ourselves in a situation where resources from one section of the country is for everyone while that from another section of the country is for few?
PoliticsRe: Ministry Of Mines Denies Claims Of CBN Buying Gold From Zamfara State Government by Rugaria: 1:45am On Nov 17, 2020
If Zamfara "artisanal miners" can be recognized and allowed to operate like legitimate business outfits, "oil bunkerers" in the Niger Delta should also be allowed to operate unhindered. . That means soldiers should stop shooting at local folks that are branded oil thieves for helping themselves with the resources found in their land... Folks from oil producing areas should start oil and gas exploration whenever they want without licenses and sell to NNPC?

Folks, this government is evil! You can see the kind of argeument being churned out to defend evil. Rather than implement the law, Buhari is shifting the goalpost once again! The biggest problem with Buhari is his inherent inability to call a spade a spade, whenever the culprits are from his tribe/zone/party, dude starts to speak in tongues! The man will rather run from pillar to post, Scanvenging for excuses, rather than allow the law take it's full course! Buhari and his likes should never have been anywhere near a presidential house!

How art the mighty fallen!

The same country that used to go around arrogantly lecturing other nations, including Nigeria, on how to conduct peaceful, free and fair elections, is now descending into election chaos before our very eyes.

This is a lesson to all mankind that no nation is superior to another, and that whatever other nations are suffering today, can easily befall your own nation in future as well.

It is also a big lesson to our pathetic Nigerian oyibo worshipers who believe that white people are infallible superhumans who can do no wrong.

Now you see that the mighty America that you worship like slaves is just as vulnerable to mismanagement and chaos as anywhere else on earth.
You are totally correct! But we shouldn't be caught making excuses for a very corrupt and inept political class all in the name of patriotism. That too is counterproductive..
