Politics › Re: I Hope Nigerians Will Cherish All My Administration Has Done – Buhari by Ruggman: 2:41pm On Jun 20, 2021 |
kennyify88: President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that he will continue to work dedicatedly to achieve the objectives that the administration set out to achieve in 2015.
The President said this Friday at State House Abuja, when he received in audience members of the Muhammadu Buhari and Osinbajo Dynamic Support Group, who came for the official presentation of their book titled – A Compendium of 5-Year Achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration from 2015 – 2020.
“The MBO Dynamic Support Group Officers and team members saw the good in our Administration from the time we came in 2015.
It is this commitment that led to the production of the book, and I sincerely hope and believe that Nigerians will always see and cherish positivity in all that this Administration has done as it continues to work assiduously to accomplish,” said the president. He commended the organisation for the support and the efforts to come up with the publication as it will serve as a documentation of some of the administration’s achievement:
“The birth of this book from inception to production is due to the unrelenting efforts of the MBO Dynamic Support Group Officers and over two million group of supporters that have continuously stood by our Administration in our quest to deliver on our social contract to all Nigerians and ensure the dividends of democracy to our people.
“I am extremely pleased with the production team and those who travelled across the country monitoring and collating data on our projects to enable us present an evidence based account of our stewardship.”
President Buhari thanked them for braving all challenges, sacrificing time and resources to ensure that the project came to life:
“Despite the global challenges of COVID-19 that impeded socio-economic activities of the world including our country Nigeria in 2020, you all worked tirelessly with limited resources and by tasking one another to produce this historic book.
“We recognise and appreciate your drive, skills, creative abilities and your personal resources invested in this project and immense devotion to produce the book.
“I thank you once again for your unwavering commitment to this Administration and legacy and look forward to the wide circulation of our achievements perfectly captured in this book to all citizens and those willing to see that we succeed to the end for the benefit of all. Nigerians will rather celebrate your exit. You have done nothing. Your tenure is the height of wickedness in governance |

RichDad1: NEWSBREAKING: Southeast Govs disown IPOB, say secessionist group not speaking for Igbos Published on June 19, 2021 By Ochogwu Sunday
Governors in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, under the umbrella of South East Governors’ Forum have declared that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB are not speaking for the entire region on the call for secession.
The governors who met on Saturday in Enugu State to figure out ways of curbing the current security crisis bedeviling the region condemned all secession agitation in the country.
Chairman of the forum, David Umahi who stated this while addressing newsmen shortly after the meeting, said they believe in one Nigeria.
Buhari govt sponsoring insecurity in Southeast – Nnamdi Kanu alleges
“We condemn in totality, the activities of violent secessionist groups in the South East and elsewhere.
“We firmly proclaim that we do not support them, they do not speak for South East.
“The impression that South-East leaders are silent over some of our youths’ agitations for secession is not correct.
“South-East Governors, Ohanaeze President, National Assembly members, notable leaders had come out publicly many times in the past to speak against such agitations.
“In order not to mismanage the unfortunate situation, South-East leaders have set up a committee to engage such youths to stop and allow elders speak to address such fears,” he said.

Those selected govs. have never backed IPOB, neither have they sympathy for the masses. Watch out for them when they exit power, you will hear a different song from them . Igboid: IPOB should de-escalate issues Biko. I don't see any evidence that they are currently ready to take on Nigeria and win.
Nigeria is a failed shit hole country that is decayed from top to bottom and is bound to collapse any moment from now. We should not allow NIGERIA collapse on top our head again.
We should just secure our forests from Herdsmen and wait out Nigeria imminent collapse. We should do more of what we did on June 12, by totally showing disdain and not participate in anything that promotes NIGERIA Unity.
We are not NIGERIANS, we are Biafrans and even Nigerians know that we are not one of them. IPOB is not joking, they are only trying gather enough sentiment and sympathy from the super powers so that they will not be opposed in case of conflict. This buhari govt. is doing the wish of IPOB. Pray that war will not breakout. I want peaceful settlement |
Politics › Re: Revealed!!! Factors Why Nigeria Would Never Subdue Igbos With Force by Ruggman: 7:17pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
FreeIgbos: 1. USSR vs Afghan Masses When USSR invaded this poor and desert nation, they expected to easily and quickly rout the Mujahideen backed by the Afghan masses. However, to their horror, the war dragged on for years even though they won several battles against the Afghans, they eventually lost the war and the then superpower had to withdraw their forces with their tale in-between their legs.
2. United States vs Vietcongs Just like the mighty USSR, America was unarguably the world's most powerful nation when the Vietnam war started. Again, they expected a quick win but to their shock, the Vietcongs were determined and even though they lost several battles against the superpower, they continued to hit back at the Americans from all angles of the Vietnamese jungles and eventually, the Americans had to concede defeat and withdraw.
3. Ethiopia vs Eritrean People Ethiopia used to be a powerful nation, at least by African standards. They were the only African nation that defeated a colonial power, the Italians. However, when the long suffering Eritreans through the EPLF began a movement to have their own nation, Mengistu, the Ethiopian president responded by sending tanks and infantry into the Eritrean towns and villages. They even attempted to use terror in subduing the Eritreans, sometimes locking them up in Mosques and setting it ablaze. However, the Eritreans were determined. Even though they had no arms, they were able to use guerilla means to seize arms from Ethiopian forces and in the long, defeated the much stronger Ethiopian forces who had to withdraw in shame.
There are several other instances that occurred in the not so distant past and all ended in victory for the people against invading forces. If Ojukwu had used guerilla means with the mass support he had, Nigeria too wouldn't have been able to defeat Biafra, even with all the support it enjoyed from Britain and Russia.
Back to the struggle with IPOB, Nigeria is no doubt at its lowest ebb in history. The morale of its soldiers is at an all time low and are bugged down with fights in many fronts. Trying to use force or terror to beat the separatists into submission will obviously not work because they're enjoying mass appeal among the people. How many can they kill to make them give up? 10,000? 100,000? 1,000,000? Already, the Igbo elite and pressure groups are beginning to raise alarm of genocide. So how long can killing of civilians continue before Abuja is pressurized to give up?
If only the Nigerian government are wise and foresighted, they would have called IPOB and other separatists to a meeting to resolve issues holistically but they failed to do that on time, now the window is almost shut. Personally I know for sure that Nigeria will not survive another war. It is not advisable for Nigeria to go into any war in the name of protecting a country that has already divided in body , soul , and spirit. NOTE THIS Any war now will be war of attrition and vengeance on the part of Igbos. Any war now will not be fought on the territory of Igbos alone , unlike 1967 when ojukwu was on defensive. Any war now will not be fought by a United Nigeria , because unlike 1967 the nation is no longer United. Any war now will certainly touch every part of Nigeria resulting in massive death and collosal refegee problem. Many Igbos have risen to prominence in several military organisation in many super power nations around the world including the highly secretive Russian army. Incase of war now these Igbo sons and daughters will not good their hands. The Igbos have vastly improved technologically compared to 1967. Igbos have access to global trade and can buy arms from secret sources. Inview of these and many more, I have personally been advocating for a roundtable discussion. Let us jaw jaw, instead of war war. Nobody should make the mistake of using the event of 1967 to measure success or failure in any future war. If we must seperate let us do so, there is nothing wrong with it. |

AmadiAba: BREAKING!!! Suspend Constitution Review, Conduct Referendum on Biafra, Northern Coalition Tells National Assembly | #IgbereTV
The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has urged the National Assembly to suspend the ongoing constitution review to enable Government organise a referendum on actualisation of a Biafra Republic.
It also urged the National Assembly to invoke the doctrine of necessity to organise a Biafra referendum as the final step towards the separation of the Igbo from the rest of Nigeria.
The CNG Spokesman, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, who made the call while addressing journalists, yesterday, in Abuja, said that the unrelenting disturbances created by certain interest groups in the South-East, in the form of the agitation for a separate State of Biafra, had turned violent.
It appealed to the government to invite the United Nations (UN), African Union (AU) and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to initiate the process of self-determination that will mandate the Biafrans out of the Nigerian union by leveraging the several relevant international treaties and conventions to which Nigeria is a signatory.
He said: “We demand the immediate suspension of the ongoing exercise for the review of the 1999 Constitution and to concentrate on the first priority of determining who and what actually constitutes Nigeria as a nation in the present circumstance in which the Igbo have foreclosed every hope for the rest of us to continue co-existing as one nation.
“In order to achieve the final separation of the Igbo from the rest of Nigeria, we urge the National Assembly to organise a referendum by seeking the cover of the same doctrine of necessity invoked by Nigeria’s Federal Parliament that paved way for former President Goodluck Jonathan’s take-over by declaring the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua unfit.
“We ask the National Assembly to prevail on the Federal Government to invite the United Nations, as well as the African Union and ECOWAS to initiate the process of self-determination to mandate the Biafrans out of the Nigerian union by leveraging the several relevant international treaties and conventions to which Nigeria is a signatory.”
Suleiman said that the group took the decision to prevent another civil war sequel to the spate of killings and destruction of public infrastructure in the South East region.
He added that the North had continued to bear the brunt of the violent agitations for secession with equanimity, stoical calm and resignation.
He, therefore, urged the North to “remain the bulwark of respect, integrity, dignity, decorum, tradition, decency, morality, civilisation, etiquette, good behaviour, politeness, accommodation and all other positive traits with the assurance that the good will ultimately prevail over evil.” You have spoken well. This is the best thing to do and the right way to go. I always laugh at the blindness of people that say Nigeria cannot be divided. I always ask why can it not happen? Please let presidency initiate the steps in adherance to this request |

Politics › Re: Lagos CP IPOB Blacklist: Statement Possibly Misinterpreted…, Concerned Groups Sa by Ruggman: 11:04am On May 11, 2021 |
Successionist: Lagos CP IPOB blacklist: Statement possibly misinterpreted…, concerned groups say ON MAY 11, 20218:35 AMIN NEWS Following what has been described as “insensitive and untimely,” the statement of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, on IPOB as a threat, concerned groups have lamented the possibility of the statement being misinterpreted as an Igbo plot against Lagos and Yoruba people.
They described Odumosu’s statement as “dangerous, given the fragile nature of Nigeria.”
On Monday, the Lagos police boss, in a statement, was quoted to have said the police is investigating threats from IPOB and Oodua Republic agitators.
Reacting, a statement signed by nine Yoruba movement groups, and made available to Vanguard, backed the police to carry out their duties, but berated the decision to publicly declare IPOB as a threat.
The concerned groups highlighted their 12 points below:
1) The attention of Pan Yoruba groups has been drawn to reports by the Nigerian Police Force, NPF that Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, (IPOB-IGBO) are planning to attack Lagos. The Lagos State Commissioner Odumosu made the allegation in Lagos today. He speaks for the police high command in Abuja.
2) While we cherish the responsibility of the police to do their work, we are concerned about the public declaration of the alleged IPOB plans to attack Lagos by the Nigerian Police.
3) We are worried that since the police already claimed to be in possession of what appears to be a confidential information, the proper thing would have been to discreetly go after the IPOB members to arrest them unless the police is not sure of its information.
4) The police statement carries the possibility of being misinterpreted as an Igbo plot against Lagos and Yoruba people. This is dangerous given the fragile nature of Nigeria.
5) We are deeply concerned that the Police publicly declared allegations tempts the prospect of setting Yoruba in the South West against Igbos. This is very unfortunate at a time that state institutions are increasingly being turned to instruments for pursuing primordial ethnic interests. The Yoruba will work never to allow this to happen
6) We are concerned that terrorists and armed herdsmen of Fulani extraction have openly been attacking, kidnapping, raping and killing Yoruba people in the South West but at no time did the police call a press conference to announce such plan after before or after each horrendous killings. There was also never a time the police linked such attacks to any ethnic group.
7) Only recently, Yoruba in Mile 2 were attacked by these people, the police did not make any attempt to speak about the ethnic identity of the perpetrators yet we know they are largely from a section in the North.
We are concerned that the police allegation risks setting a greater danger of ethnic conflict between Igbo and Yoruba people, conscious that this will benefit a certain group who think setting Igbo against Yoruba will meet the objective of scuttling the search for peaceful self determination by the two great civilisations
9) We urge the police not to allow themselves to be used by the desperate Caliphate whose agelong dream is to divide the South and set the people against each other for its own narrow gains.
10) We urge Yoruba people to ignore the conscious attempts to cause ethnic conflict between Igbo and Yoruba at this time that both ethnic groups need each other.
11) The police should avoid ethnic profiling. It is dangerous. The Pan Yoruba groups assure of our collective desire to sustain peaceful coexistence between Igbo and Yoruba and avoid any slide into ethnic conflict, an ill wind that blows no one any good. To this end, we shall set up a Committee to work out a platform to sustain ethnic harmony in Lagos.
12) On police plan to attack agitators for Yoruba self determination, We urge the police have respect for internation laws and should signify the basic democratic principle which is the right of a people to debate their political and economic future.
Signed

Pastor Goke Otunla, Network for Yoruba Alliance, (NENA)
9) Ahmed Korede Apapo Oodua Koya, (AOKOYA)
Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu, through the Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, has urged the public to disregard Odumosu’s pronouncement, saying that is an intention to fuel division between Yorubas and the Igbos, “It won’t work. This is not 1967,” he said.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/05/lagos-cp-ipob-blacklist-statement-possibly-misinterpreted-concerned-groups-say/ I am happy that finally The 2 great nations of IGBO and YORUBA are getting tounderstand themselves and defeat the old tactics of the north to divide and rule the south .
