Any right thinking human knows better than to make realities like this a supremacy battle or tag a role irrelevant. Any man who thinks the role of the wive as caterer is nothing to be compared to the role of providing has probably never done a chore in his life. While wives who think because they play the nurturing role they should be worshiped because they feel nature has cheated them in a way, these kind of women are easily spotted, they're the kinds who are naturally angry that they are the ones who have too get pregnant anyone woman who's like that is obviously good at claiming victim. Such mentality is why debates like this will always be endless, and reasons aren't far fetched, its all from the home. And life with its eff ups shows us that both gender must be able to play each others role, but this doesn't mean there shouldnt be a default and regardless how this role is switched, in a large percentage the husbands will always be and expected to be the major provider and wives nurturing. Who does the job of a Mother better than a Mother.


On why the strict roles will always hold especially here in Africa, I think majority of us knows this but because of the misconception of these equality schemes, civilization makes us all want to claim hip we are trying too hard to ignore how both gender are really wired. No matter how much it tries to switch roles we have to agree some roles should never be switched and male provider, woman nutures will always stand, along with others of course there will be exceptions both it will still always come to play. Even the T-bills scenario affirms it.

All in all it all boils down to having an appreciative spouse.

Majority of you atheists when you argue about the existence of God you appear as persons who are really concerned about humanity which is a wonderful feat. It's been an overflogged issue when y'all come up with why these Gods can't regrow an amputees limb, why he won't restore the little boy's eyes, how god is a wicked, vengeful, misogynistic being. True, an omnipotent god should be capable of all these, this points that majority of atheists are empathetic about their fellow human it also shows you lot hold onto an utopian view of the world despite knowing its an impossible reality but your responses show that we all expect heaven on earth, but the theists have promised you this utopian world somewhere in the metaphysical realm but yet you still go ahead to debunk them accusing them of how silly the idea is. True it is, because no matter how perfect the world is we need a negligible amount of imperfection to appreciate perfection.
Then again it's also an over flogged issue when you talk about these religious institutions and their belief systems and how wrong they are and contradictory their God is, yes we seem to have come to the conclusion that the bible/quran were written by mere men who were selfish, bias, delusional and power drunk, I'm not disputing. But anyone who has read the bible and quran will no doubt feel awkward about the tales in it but those books are indeed powerful and they're beyond psychology far beyond it, look at the years it took Sigmund to come up with psychoanalysis which gave more ground to understanding how the we think they're lies. There are a lot of universal truths in those books which will hold as long as the universe keeps expanding. If observation is regarded as an impotant part of science I can boldly say these books are scientific books in the psychological field but then again I could be wrong. So now ask yourselves as it has mostly be claimed that these books where written by mere men because it appears to be. Couldn't it be men like you who were also concerned about humanity and how to make them happy after observing a lot created these concepts based on what they could as the time just as science keeps doing it's best in these times.

Cloudgoddess I must say your biological knowledge is something I admire. Your recent explanation on evolution and how we likely came about is grand, sometimes I forget that it's actually a theory. You lucidly explained in one of your posts of how the current man is no different from an animal but thanks to evolution which has given room for more brain to create and perform complex abilities giving room for creation of language, maths, tools, social groups and man's journey to becoming a higher animal. I think in there you alluded to why prehistoric man could form religion and make sense of it.
Now you and I would agree that there are still animals among us as a matter of fact we are outnumbered by them but then you're angry and hell bent on ridding people of their beliefs of religion thinking the world would be a better place without it, you just like every other atheist in here do not realize y'all are priveleged on a big scale very privileged. The people you're trying show the light aren't the ones who need it, majority of the world lives as if there's no god already. Like I once said, when push comes to shove and it will happen no matter how long it takes push will always come to shove these atheists will create God all over again when we go back to our beast nature that we naturally are.

Plus if you understand the God concept to a point you'll acknowledge those books are just too fuckin complete even the contradictions aren't lies just as they say every prayer answers. I use to think those who believe in God were wrong but they aren't it may be false reality and all but they aren't wrong for believing and they aren't totally stupid either for believing. I read of a man who beat his wife to death on my facebook page. And down the post, some ladies commented that all men are evil and dangerous. One of them even expressed a doubt if she would even marry. Now, it is not a new thing that lots of ladies now believe that all men are bad, after probably being jilted or used and dumped by a guy or after reading or hearing about men who beat their wives, even to death like this case here. But this is what i have to say: Marriage is sweet, if only you get things right before going into it. If you prepare well for it, you won't regret getting married and now believing that all men are evil or dangerous. The first preparation is you yourself changing your bad characters and building yourself up to attract the kind of loving, God fearing, rich and caring man you want as husband. One major error many ladies make is that they want a good,caring, loving, and rich man, but they are placing themselves too high or expensive in such a way that many of these men think that all they want is money and material wealth. In this case, they have opened an easy way for men who have this money or material wealth, but wrong motives or purpose for relationship or marriage and who would only marry them for their bodies. And after getting married and getting their bodies, they start showing them their real colours(the beast in them). Besides, marriage also takes a humble wife to succeed. How many women now a days are submissive to their husbands? No matter how rich, beautiful or educated you are, the man is still your head. Be submissive to him. And how many women in marriage have a good relationship with God? If you don't have God in your life, you have failed already. In conclusion, not all men are evil or bad. If you want a good man, be a good lady. If you want a sweet marriage, be submissive and have a good relationship with God.
