Well, I don't know of any one that got PPR within one month. Medicals takes atleast 1month, background could be about a month or more afterwards and finally passport request.
But I think there is more emphasis in landing more immigrants this year and years to come. Thus, the rapid rate of application processing.

My God that does not disappoint with lot of prayers and faith my husband has been asked to go for medical...just to let you know he didn't provide bank statement...I only did and it was not that much

@ RUTH you already took my name out of the list, Decision has not been made yet on my application, it still in process, i was only ask to explain why i said Yes i have not been refused a visa before, which i have reply to address the visa officer concern. I still have hope because i put in a strong application apart from that mistake.

So I checked my wife's email this morning and I received message from cic after 6months 4 days since biometrics. I checked her profile and she's asked to provide medicals again. And a medical report form which shows her bio info. is included in their message

What I applied for was an open work permit and not a spouse open work permit, is there any difference? or do both mean the same thing please ?

My wife just called me from Nigeria this morning to inform me her passport has been requested. She will submit it 2moro.
More than 7 months wait though. I can't wait to have my family with me here in the summer.

My people, looks like paper route is slowing down. My app is now 1 month and 1 day old, applied Dec. 29. Those who applied early December and earlier got medical email in 2 to 3 weeks. I don't know what's happening... Anybody with a clue?

Sorry about the delay and congratulations on your US visa. You have three options now? One is to reapply via paper route again to try your luck...you can also wait till your spouse get job in the listed occupation. Thirdly, you can travel to the US and apply for visitor's visa to visit your spouse.
