This is just yesterday but one. You know nothing regarding these stuff - concentrate on sharing Buhari pictures. The authorities have responded promptly to the challenges. On the fiscal side, government spending execution has been prudent this fiscal year, consistent with available resources. Moreover, the draft FY2023/24 budget submitted to Parliament proposes to further reduce the deficit from 5.7 to 4.1 percent of GDP, with significant new revenue measures consistent with the objective of reducing the ratio of debt to GDP. Monetary policy has also been tightened, with the central bank policy rate having been increased by 250 basis points over the past year https://www.imf.org/en/News/Articles/2023/05/23/pr23171-kenya-imf-reaches-sla-5th-rev-eff-arr-rsf#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThe%20IMF%20team%20and%20the,(SDR407.1%20million%2C%20about 68816419: |
Rubbish. Ruto is prudently managing kenya finance. Read latest praise from IMF. You can barely understand the issues and purporting to parrot nonsense. 68816419:
|
No gov will ever stop borrowing. Go back to school. The issues is prudent versus imprudent borrowing. Kenya gov weekly borrows 25B KES in TBILLs. That will not stop soon. 68816419: |
We can print KES if we want; it would of course be irresponsible, reckless and criminal. It will increase money supply, lead to price increases, people will suffer, and poverty will spread. Thankfully we have common sense not to be a ZOO like Nigeria. We will only print 5% of the last total revenues annually - this acceptable prudent inflation. GeneralDae: |
When Buhari has printed 50B dollars and generated inflation that has multiplied poverty in the Zoo. Nigeria is last country to advice anyone Even Somalia will reject your advice. Try keep a light bulb on for 10hrs first. 68816419: |
Nigeria fools are excited about oil and gas in 21s century while kenya is positioning itself to become renewable hub of Africa. 10 years from now - Nigeria will be crying tears - Kenya will be reaping.
|
You sound like the Ghanian mad man. Safaricom is british owned company - Fix your generator FOOl.Obaaderemi2: |
Not everyone is smart in kenya. Smarter on average compared to Nigeria. Only an idiot can ask such question. 68816419: |
Why dont you provide the data? Of you most important industry - without which you\d be dead - 80 percent of gov revenues - 95 percent of export earning. A primitive oil based ZOOOOOO. 68816419: |
This make news in Kenya. In Nigeria this is normal - cults - are daily thing - involving voodoo and human sacrifices - organ harvesting - name it. Nigeria is a Zoo. Kenya intelligence slept and the head was fired recently. 68816419: |
Strawman arguments. Top 3 kenya companies - Safaricom, KCB and Equity bank - are owned and run by Kenyans. Kenya economy is as local as it gets. Nearly anything you see in Nairobi is owned by BLACK kenyans. As for Nigeria - first outside Oil & Gas - It would take a nut case to invest. South Africans have tried with MTN and Shoprite. But look at them now - Nigeria gov basically depend on foreign firms to pay taxes - as Nigerian companies and people dont pay up. GeneralDae: |
You're a big joke. You aint even got to 50% ownership of Oil industry 60yrs later. 68816419: |
It easy slowpoke to find the local and foreign % of that free float. Kenya gov definitely own 35%. That mean every kenyan has a piece of the pie. Now Nigeria - you have MTN and Airtel - sweeping the floor with you. And when we move to OIL - you biggest and only resources - it pure tears - SHELL, BP, AGIP, name them. Generally without those foreign companies - you country grinds to halt - because Dangotes, NNP and other Nigerian crooks never pay taxes. Obaaderemi2: |
Kenya is more food secure than Nigeria. Those are stubborn facts. Obaaderemi2: |
The Zoo is basically run by Shell and MTN. Shell remitted 4.5B in 2021. MTN probably half that. Entite Zoo revenues is something like 15B. Entire Zoo budget is something like 25B. https://mediatracnet.com/nigeria-paid-second-largest-tax-in-2021-after-norway-says-shell/ Shell said out of a total payout of $20.855billion to the different countries, about $4.481 billion was paid specifically to the Nigerian government in 2021. |
English - partially owned (35%) - 35% by Kenya gov - and 25% by Kenyans. We at best own 70% of Safaricom. You are begging MTN and Airtel not repatriate profit - when not trying to tax them. Obaaderemi2: |
You at best have twice as bigger economy - with 220M people - and lots of Oil. That is why you're angry. Cant fix even basic like electricity. A ZOO. Obaaderemi2: |
Sounds like you're describing a modern thriving economy that is attracting foreign investment - and has managed to thrive - despite having no minerals. Now let move to the primitive OIL BASED Nigeria economy. Now when will Shell Nigeria move out of Nigeria. After Shell and BP - we have MTN and Airtel - dominating your telcom right? How much does Shell, BP, MTN and Airtel - repatriate abroad from Nigeria - BILLIONS. 68816419: |
Poverty capital sounding very angry today. The generator malfunctioned? Kenya is like US compared to Nigeria. No electricity, mass poverty, no water, no security, nothing basically works. A ZOO! Comparing yourself to Kenya is crazy. Obaaderemi2: |
At least BUA may save you from Dangote. Why should kenya invest in oil. You've had oil since 1950s - and results - POVERTY CAPITAL. I would be excited if it was something else. Those investment have little multiplier. 68816419: |
Any idiot can draw his own rich list. The richest kenyans are Manu Chandarias, Kenyattas, Mois, Ndegwas - you can name them. kenyatta and Moi will run rings around Dangote. If you were to value Kenyattas land holding in Nairobi alone - that is something like 10B dollars. Kenya-India Manu Chandaria is definitely the richest non-politician. GeneralDae: |
No, Nigeria is undisputed poverty capital, that import Indians to do the basic of things. Kenya economy is 99% run by African black like soot. The 1% is run by Kenya-Asians - Indians who've been here for 120yrs and the Arabs who been here for 1,000yrs. We dont have Indians sending money to India. Obaaderemi2: |
First we have very few Indians. Maybe those who come as tourist nowadays. We have 5th generation Kenyan-Indians who find India alien - and dont repatriate their money - they invest, live and die in kenya - they speak swahili- are proud kenyans- and so will their kids. You have indians fresh from the boats - those dont come to kenya because it impossible for them to get work permits. Your fresh Indians send your dollars to India - including those Dangotes has shipped in thousands to run his factories. Secondly Kenyan-India since 1967 were eased out from retail & wholesaling (dukawallas) and moved on to engineering & manufacturing. They've made money there - those rich kenyan-indians dominate Africa manufacturing - Manu Chandarias, Shahs. Kenya banking, financial, name almost every sector it is dominated by Black Africans. Outside few areas like Parklands in Nairobi - you wont see an Indian in kenya. As for whites and other new immigrants - coming to start up tech business - in collaboration with kenyans - we want more of them. GeneralDae: |
Legacy of Buhari. 10 Billionaires - led by Dangote. 200M Beggars. gallivant: |
It crazy to imagine. They only have one estate by their NHC. Almost all their skyscrappers are built by gov. It must have been same drunk person at world bank who compiled that Port Efficiency thing that declared Somalia ahead and South Africa bottom. gallivant: |
Kenya Judiciary turning the corner. Cj together with Ruto are working to entrech the rule of law. Ruto has yet to disobey any court order. Judiciary on expansion spree - backlog being dealt - good times ahead for rule of law Since the appointment of Justice Martha Koome as CJ two years ago, we continue to demystify the Judiciary, it is now all about people centred justice. Over 27,000 cases valued over 4.6 Billion heard & determined by the Small Claims Court, average time to disposition is 53days. We are now able to reach more people and enable them to access justice in a simple, cost-effective and expeditious manner. Kenya Chief Justice and President of Judiciary - Martha Koome.

Keep up. EV is the future. 68816419: |
Bongolala has one newspaper cutting that he keeps for anything. Somehow someone drunk once wrote that Dar has more real estate than Nairobi. Like really? gallivant: |
Yeah I remember Trump saying Buhari was dead man walking. Tinubu doesnt seem any better. Too old to function. They will let Dangote run the country. They might as well elect Dangote. gallivant: |
One more year - the Zoo of poverty is overtaken by Kenya. gallivant: |
Ruto sell himself. People talk and talk rubbish online - but when Ruto present himself for 4 hours where they are allowed to ASK ALL THE TOUGHEST question - they run. Can any Nigeria president avail himself for four hours for all tough questioning. There is no doubt that Ruto is extremely hardworking, extremely brilliant and extremely well spoken. You cannot beat such men. This was 9 days ago -all media houses invited to bring their best journalist - for 3 hours- in state house- Ruto answered all questions - they could think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs5YjWxubmI GeneralDae: |
Ruto was elected by 50% plus one kenya - and 25% in 39 counties out 47. Kalenjin are only 13% of Kenya. Ruto enjoy support of almost 2/3 of Mps. Kazikazi: |
