I really doubt the doctors would do that. That would be a malpractice - doctor-patient confidentiality . It's mostly the security officials from Kenya who are detailed to protect the hospital.

If an area is stimulated and the patient is unable to move their limb or loses ability like speak or count, the neurosurgical team will know that they are operating near an important area of the brain, and avoid any damage to it.

Dr. Aamir Qureishi pointed out that this is possible due to the world class technology available at The Nairobi Hospital, such as Intra-Operative Ultrasound evaluation, Neuronavigation (which is a kind of GPS system guiding the team during surgery) and Neuromonitoring technology and the trained specialists who are part of the team. These excellent facilities played a vital role in ensuring the gratifying success of the awake craniotomy surgery conducted on 26th October 2020.

Because of his reckless actions, many Tanzanians have lost their lives unnecessarily. People refused to wear masks due to his mixed messaging. When they caught COVID19 hospitals had no oxygen as the corona denying government failed to avail supplies.
We saw how Finance and Planning Minister Philip Mpango narrated how he had to carry his oxygen to hospital. Ordinary Tanzanians stood no chance.
I will not mourn Magufuli. I will mourn the many Tanzanians who have died due to his reckless actions. The only credit I can give him is preaching wine and taking wine.
As for his successor, I urge her to start taking the pandemic seriously and do whatever it takes to protect the lives of Tanzanians. If she doesn't, one day she could find herself in the ICC answering to crimes against humanity.
