It's backward. Normal market has prices for everyone, In kenya you pick what you want. KQ subsdiary JamboJet sell flight for 30 dollars Just40: |
You gave birth to no one. You copied Ethiopia flag. Kenya was first Africa country to launch a armed struggle against the mighty Britons in 1952. You got independence from US US basically told British to give up Africa colonies. And all were given up starting with Ghana. It kenya armed struggle than inspired other armed struggle where Europeans refused. Algeria, South Africa, Zim, such Just40: |
Compete with Ivory Coast. Kenya has world leading DELMONTE BRAND. That means everytime you buy delmonte anywhere it could be from kenya https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGecdImckvE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGIyFOuTVU Just40: |
LOL. Try Cocoa and Gold. vaxx: |
All those airlines are considerably cheaper and less quality than KQ. You cannot afford KQ. Give up vankelvin: |
Now that is madness. Popular for what? vaxx: |
Kenya Airways charges a premium because it service are world class and we serve cassava, banku and other african dishes. Ethiopia airways is cheap. Kenya Airways is premium. Try see if you can afford KQ flight. You cant. KQ goes for PREMIUM. Almost every KQ ticket is twice as expensive as Ethiopia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0QFvR1AKfU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeNU1ZHULl8 vankelvin: |
Dont cry. Just know Ghana is not even a country to kenya. Nigeria the bigger zoo might try to write some nonsense. Before they cry to kill the thread. vaxx: |
Look we are done here. Just40: |
So why are NGo giving them shoes. Just40: |
After eating cow hides and skins - you can only make plastic shoes. Stop eating shoes. It has no nutritional value. Kenya cottage leather industry compete with second hand real leather and Batas because of REAL LEATHER You Ghanians dont know why Kenyans love Bata. You wear Safari booths - and you can go anywhere for years - and Shoes will remain. Parents buy Bata because to those shoes are military grade. Just40: |
Madness as always. Next Ghanian Just40: |
You're not allowed to go to school in kenya without shoes - day or boarding. There are at least 15 millions kids in schools. Primary alone has 10 million plus kids. Just40: |
Every country has shoe makers. Bring the numbers. Even South Sudan or CAR I am sure make shoes. You bring credible stats of your cottage shoes industry. vankelvin: |
Yet to see made in Ghana ; Ivory coast yes. Just40: |
15 million kids each need at least 3 pairs of shoes. Sandals, Rubber shoes and leather shoes. Dont be dense. All these comes mostly from Bata. Just40: |
Mad cow. Kenya control 25% of all flower sold in Europe. West Africa import the same flowers from London. We take the flowers to Netherland. You go and import them. Your export gold - and such - weightless and very valuable. I can respect ivory coast - seen many of their bananas and pineapples in europe - GHANA ![]() Try sell flowers to Nigeria first Just40: |
Mad cow take your meds. Bata supply 15 million kenya kids with shoes every term - everywhere there is Bata store - even in Turkana. I am not going to count the rest of the rest. Bata=kenya=Shoes Just40: |
You cant fill one cargo plane. You want to fly and transport shiet loads of chinese trinkets in the same plane. That is KQ main business - West African women bring shietload of chinese trinkets - fake hair - and such Kenya leads in Air Cargo in Africa by MILES. We transport flowers and fresh vegies to Europe Just40: |
What pray are duty of gov. Largest banks in the world are Chinese State Owned financial institution. Germans went to World War II to finish Jewish banks For interest rates...Ghana is now at 40 percent. SOE in banking sector desire to loan out money cheaply For literature. Please read the Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare. vaxx: |
Most kenya companies get over unions by employing through agencies. Bata has 46 direct employees then rest are under employment agencies. Even KQ - senior management are direct - the rest are contracted via a HR company who pay lower wages. Bata is one of things that define kenya This was 2006!! Travelling throughout the country, a minor detail you may not care to notice is that almost everyone wears shoes. With majority of the estimated 32 million Kenyans standing on two feet, at least literally, you are talking about potential demand of at least 64 million shoes. Little wonder the Limuru-based Bata Shoe Company (Kenya), the most renowned formal marketer targeting the whole family in Kenya, never really opted to go away even when they were quite down at the heel. Just40: |
Not when you need to transport shiet load of personal cargo. West and central africa love KQ for that. We allow you to bring back your christmas shopping - bags and bags And charge expensive tickets..but carry as much as you want And we serve banku ![]() Typical businessman from West and Central Africa - goes to middle east or china - to buy stocks for their business. They love KQ for this - because they are allowed to bring in very heavy bags - KQ is in cargo business so buys long range planes that can carry shiet load. Say what you can - but west and central african small business men or mostly women - love KQ. Just40: |
Your words versus this video mad cow Bata is ubiquitous in kenya Every small market or town - just ask for Bata shop In 2018 - they were doing 20 million - now 30 million. Mainly school shoes. In fact most schools just fall short of saying buy Bata shoes...parents almost instinctively know Bata has to be bought. For most kenyans - Bata is kenyan company Bata in Kiswahili is a duck - 99% dont know it Czech company https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKMYuP2jN7E Just40: |
I do hope you write German better than you do English. From what I gather you think this is welfare program. No this is A LOAN with SAVING and PENSION rolled into one. There is NO MONEY we are giving them. We lending money. Very small amount. They repay in 14 days. Ideally they should repay daily and borrow the following morning. You wake up with nothing - because you're poor - borrow 5 dollars - make 1 dollar profit - return the money. They borrow and pay back - and instead of interest - we keep that as their savings and pension. Gov using taxes from middle class to give them 2:1 matching...they save 5% - gov rewards them with 2.5% for saving. Middle class get 1:1 matching from their employer; so they should not complain. The more we talk the more I hope you didnt go to any school - least of all Ghana. Otherwise why are you Ghanians so OBTUSE. Honestly all my life - this forum is the most stupid - I love this Ghanian Poppa dude in Skyscrapper City but seems he was born in Scotland and lived there? How can education systems produce so many morons? How can Kofi Annan or chimamanda ngozi adichie or Chinua Achebe or Wole Soyinka be a product of the same system? I guess they are outliers - the west african education - and I have seen the exams - need SERIOUS REFORMS. vaxx: |
Kenya Airways has confirmed Qatar to Ghana to Dakar flight is ready. Yoruba Nigeria Saka just send last Sub Saharan Africa team home |
Poor people need money more than anything else. They have great ideas. They are frugal and responsible. Give a poor man a dollar - he will feed his family and have something for tomorrow. He will not do fancy stocks or crypto - he will buy fish - fry it on the street - sell it - and make a little profit. We have studied our poor people. 1) Biggest problem of course they have no money - solution lend them money (dont give them free - there is no free money) 2) Dont lend them at usurious interest rates - you're digging their hole further - give them zero interest loan - IMF/WB give poor gov such loans. 3) Encourage them to save for the rainy day so eventually they get out of the vicious poverty trap. You have to admit that Ruto's administration is possibly the first time Africa gov has seriously thought and invested in poor people - there were at least 250 top policy makers involved. vaxx: |
I wont. I am having fun while teaching you. This is my duty to Africa. I love Africa to lie to Africa. If someone like Paul kagame tell me to shut up - I will ![]() IGpro1: |
Nope, we love progress. I love progress. We praise progressive countries like Rwanda, Mauritus, even South Africa and we try to ape them. There are things I like about Nigeria - I love chimamanda ngozi adichie., I love ngozi okonjo-iweala I like Peter Obi. I like people like Meles Zenawi, Paul Kagame, Zambia Hakainde Hichilema. What I hate is retrogressions, laziness, stupidity and lack of ambition. Africa football is good example of our stupidity in something we should be dominating. You need tough love. Anyone who hates the truth; hate the mirror reflecting back; hate himself; Love yourself. You deserve more. You can be better. You can achieve greatness. It takes hardwork. It takes discipline. It takes commitment to continuous improvement. By time you accept darkness and generator - then you're gone. Nigeria should have revolted. Go to streets for months until Abuja bring lights. In kenya we are just celebrating a hustler revolution - and we had just few hiccups. IGpro1: |
You cant hate the mirror. We are the mirror. You have got here because of electing Buharis and other military dictator. This thread is the MIRROR in your bathroom. IGpro1: |
Look like only African team we will have is France as usual. Poor senegal. The English counter attacks & finishing just too clinical. |
Look like Bata is well established only in kenya, Zimbwabwe and South Africa - with Kenya the biggest . They tried Nigeria - I dont know how that went It may be Africa's most populous country, and home to its one of its largest economies, but the global shoemaker Bata is not keen on investing in local manufacturing plant in Nigeria. That's according to the company's Chief Marketing Officer, Thomas Bata. The company had production hubs in Kenya and South Africa, which can produce at least 30 million pairs of shoes, each year. Here he is explaining the firm's approach to the West African economy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNnT2PQ3IHo Bata is the largest shoe maker in the Czech Republic and has been identified as the largest manufacturer and seller of shoes of all time in the Guinness Book. It was founded by siblings Anna, Antonin and Tomas Bata in 1894 in Zlín. We can find their stores all over the world. Today, they also focus on lifestyle sneakers that you can find on our e-shop! In 1932, the first Bata stores– Nairobi, Mombasa were opened in Kenya. In 1939, Bata retail network expanded and consisted of sixteen stores. In 1939, the sister company Bata Shoe Comp. Bata in Kenya is one well regarded brand known for its high quality shoes. The only competition really is high class second hand shoes from US. People in kenya generally think shoes are Bata and Bata is shoes...there is a franchise in every little places. |
