Madcow vans outside Africa n poor countries are for transportation of goods..never human being...they would have made them half decent.. African or poor countries import then turn them into public passengers vehicles.Vans are imported then converted into passenger Vans in Africa. |

Just30: yes people set out vans for mini mass transportation and that was the purpose for it creation.t Motorcycles are meant for personal use and not as a tool for mass transport.
It is not an invention but society degrading into a mess because of poor financing and mass poverty sending people into such traps what meaning of a van let start there |

Just30: you're still on this nonsense?
No society should commercialize bikes for public transportation option... You only find that in poor countries like Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and some poor east Asian countries African are igneous as they have to eke a living... nobody deliberately set out or imagine vans or motorbikes would be used as public transportation...as long as they are unmet needs... someone will create business out of anything...most invention like mpesa or mobile money started that way...now accepted worldwide. In some years they will be sending transport experts to see how African are using motorbikes to transport anything include coffins or even ambulance or firefighting equipment.Nature is mother of invention.Africa are now proving motorbikes can do much more....than ever imagined by their inventors |

AfriqueDuZuid: Nah electric buses, taxis, trains are the future None of those beat bikes...bikes work everywhere anywhere like you mobile phones..I remember in 2001 arguing in online forum why Africa need phones n computer..then Joburg had more landlines than entire Africa.Manhattan island alone had more telephony than entire Africa. The argument was similar..why would you need a mobile phone when landline works...those days it was business kind of thing...not something you call to socialize. Now it's changed completely.Bikes ticks most last miles needs.Once you sort the excessive noise through electric motor the rest is easy. Its a shame your own country is being left out...as you engage in taxi wars.Bikes are cheap, efficient, versatile, etc...it's going to dominate like your mobile phone |

Lol you'll pay China for 30 years or so.... Stop trying to justify it, it makes you a hypocrite I don't recall saying you don't need trains ..but they are not toys .they can only work as backbone supported by last mile bikes ... electric..that is the future . Whoever is in electric bikes is in the future of transportation |

Then again you are talking about affordability but you forgot that mass transport covers long distances too.
[b] Asian countries are heavily populated but move millions with thousand motorcycle...start with Thailand..or go to Nigeria. No wonder you're broke.Mass transport like trains are the backbone...but you need bikes as the gazillion veins in your system of transportation.Motor bikes, bicycles and all the two wheeler are future of transportation |

AfriqueDuZuid: We have road network of 750 00km, Johannesburg has paved road network as big as Kenya.
Netherlands has narrow roads that's why bicycles were great for them. Again public transportation in Netherlands is great with bus and trains.
Japan has world best train system Kenya has 300k roads and is half south Africa.. there space for motorbikes because they cheap and don't occupy space..both in rural and urban setting.Asian countries, Nigeria and East Africa on the right track.Kenya should aim to have 10 million of them ...at least one per household... electric if possible. This like landline versus mobile phone argument... motorbikes wins everyday |

AfriqueDuZuid: Motorbikes follow same rules as any othe vehicles
A bus takes around 60 people at once, reducing traffic. Trams, metro rails etc does better at reducing traffic You still have not paid off gautrain... motorbikes provide mass transport for the cheap...the problem is personal cars..not motor bikes or bicycles..those don't occupy lots of spaces and are really indespensable in rural areas..hence their wild growth..South Africa is poor to afford what you desire and they are too many people in rural areas without optimal transport.Dont try to copy developed countries... majority are now putting bikes at center of their mass transport...your colonizer Netherlands is leading ... everyone copying them..not south Africa |

Kia is also in the process of setting up to produce 10,000 units
Ghana is actually in the process of banning used cars import I checked you buy 2500 commercial and 3500 passenger new cars..6000. |

vaxx: Calling someone who achieved more than kenya as an individual ""stupid "" is an act of stupidity on his own , you are indeed stupid Nana has an individual achieved as an individual than a nation called kenya. Most of what your govt borrowed money for can't be counted for, there is no single project that can be shown by your government worthy of the expenditure. Check the railway line for instance ( it is a burden ) They are overpriced and overlooted at the same time. The government is only eating from his debt and sinking you idiot , that is the only difference from us . Killing you with high Increased taxes which they will loot at the end . They are borrowing to loot. Your parliament is as corrupt as anything. They are hiding too many things from you idiot. Let them show you the agreement they have with china firstly incase they default.
Some prominent human rights activists seek to know the agreement , they collect court injunction but your Govt failed to honor it. That is a backwater You don't understand what it means to go burst... recovery could take 20yrs and all his efforts are now wasted...how many great companies or countries have gone belly up.Dont think this some joke |
