Before you start, since this lockdown started, I have been stopped by the Police several times (my job requires me to be on the move as essential service)...and each time, I have answered questions honestly, truthfully, and showed ID where i need to show ID.

Yes, we may laugh at the Policeman for climbing the woman's car, but our Police is not equiped with materials that would enable them to note and record cars offending without having to stop them. The budget for our police is five times less than the budget for the police of the state of New York USA. And yet, we expect US performance for a low budget.

And many of us Nigerians refuse to obey the Police. We shout at them, attack them, obstruct them in the course of their duty, and when they react we say they are violent.

YES....there are bad policemen. YES...policemen and women do wrong. Ive seen it. But so do Nigerians. Yes, Nigeria Police needs to follow rule of law, but so do we Nigerians.

Hmmm, its not easy, it scares me just thinking about it. I made same mistake, the only difference, I am not the one to pause my school, carry the pregnancy and give birth, but my parents made my life hell, adding the pressure from her family and she having to cry all the time.
It wasn't easy dealing with her tears, seeing how dejected she was, the shame and rejection she had to go through. Having to deal with a lots of pregnancy related issues were also not easy, time for birth and baby refused to come.
Thank God we've passed that stage now, but knowing I can't marry her after all I put her through still hurts

I went to Benin for the first time, I was called for medical examination due to a job I applied for. I got lost and before I could get to the venue, they've closed for the day. I went in search for a cheap hotel I can afford and then it started raining.
I got confused cause there is no shade to even hide. I saw two women sitting in a shop and decided to ask them about any affordable hotel and I was asked to walk into a certain street. As I was going, one of the women called me back and asked what my mission was cause she saw me somewhere asking for directions before.
I explained to her and she offered me a place to stay. I went home with her, she fed me and made sure my clothes were dried.
She personally took me to the venue for the medical exam the following morning, I just couldn't thank her enough.
Its been two years now and I haven't seen her again after that incident but I will make sure to look for her soon

I didn't see it as an insult. People are different, what sounds like an insult to you might not be to someone else. Saying someone's food is salty doesn't seem like an insult to me, mothers are humans too, I dont see why we can't talk about them like everyone else
