Dearest team March, how are you all doing? Mothers in the house, I keep craving Guinness malt, like very cold Guinness malt. After drinking it, I feel guilty that it's not healthy and baby might end up being too big, but no matter how I try, this urge to drink malt is not going anywhere. Anybody experiencing this? How are you handling it?

I'm 34 weeks 4 days and I know babies born at this time can be safe. Google even says babies born at 34 weeks will be as healthy as termed and full termed babies.

You can say that again,my last labour,I bit the hospital wardrobe so much that I coudnt chew with my teeths for more than a week after birth . That pain is no break but it's fast sha for most not for all.

1st pregnancy? Cause it was the same with my first, no sign at all, not even mucus plug. It wasn't funny but talk to your doc, they know what to do and don't worry your mind too much

Finally, my pink jet landed on 20th this month. Edd- 22, 25 and 27 of January.

I almost died in the labour room, eventually she was birthed through emergency CS. weighing 3.5kg.

CS recovery ideas are highly needed at the moment.

Ehya, sorry o, try but yam pounder so that before the carvings die, food don ready. It happened to me alot during 2nd trimester but I later realized is due to delay in preparation of the food

Don't know what to call this feeling am having now.
Imagine, was craving pounded yam and okro since yesterday. Immediately after breakfast today, I dashed to the kitchen, cooked okro, veg for hubby (he doesn't take okro with pounded yam), cooked stew, peeled the yam, cooked it and then the almighty POUNDING.

After all these cooking and pounding, you won't believe I COULDN'T EAT THE ALMIGHTY POUNDED YAM.

that's the funny thing, i tell them about the pain and all the doc said was that as long as my BP is normal, there is no issue. I felt bad, like I was just over reacting, when in truth, walking is gradually becoming hell for me

I had a false labor scare four days ago and my doc asked me to do a scan. Scan showed baby is already 2.39kg at 33 weeks 4 days and she said, while its not ideal to birth at that time, baby at hat weight can still survive. Thank God it turned out to be just a scare though

March 3rd is my EDD oooooo, can't wait to port to February, I am tired already. My legs are badly swollen and I don't know why it's painful, is it suppose to be painful? Heartburn won't to finish me, I am just so tired and I don't want to take maternity leave on time so that I can spend complete 4months after delivery

The reason why I so much love this "MY 9MONTHS TURKEY" is that she had an accident two different times

1. Next compound people hit the turkey with good 2×2 plank, the turkey nearly die. How the turkey survived it still amazed me.
The turkey wing was broken join with one of her leg.

2. Bike man crush my turkey to almost death, it was even on Sunday morning. If it's human being crushed by that bike I bet the person won't complete. I even said we should kuku kill it since the turkey was already vomiting blood, but to my surprise the turkey survived it again.

I let them out of the cage after i feed them, but i don't leave them to move around the compound(A big compound though) especially to other Neighbors' spaces. I just feed them then , let them out of the gate to enjoy some greens in the environment till Afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your poults and ducks. I'd suggest you fumigate the cage before you bring in another set of birds.
From what you described, i think the disease is Newcastle.

She dropped the fifth egg this Morning. I'm not giving layer feed to her yet, just home scraps + grower feed(I add broken egg shells to it since egg shells are calcium fortified).

She has laid a total of 7 eggs now, two were soft shelled eggs and have been disposed.

hello, happy Sunday and good morning to you. Pls I need advice on farming, I want to rear local turkey but will feed them with fowl feeds. I have a 6 years plan so I don't really care about them growing fast, I bought just two poults, one male and one female, they are just two weeks old. I already bought starter feed for them, I was asked to give them that till they are 8 weeks old. My question is, do I need to give them drugs like the way chickens are vaccinated? I chose turkey instead of chicken because I heard turkey are not as susceptible to diseases like chicken, I can't deal with sick birds . Pls I will really appreciate advice from all of you on this issue. God bless

You are using UBTH which is a federal hospital.., they should have a gynae emergency clinic that you can walk in at any time. You might consider taking the test results there rather than wait till 23rd

Please I need encouragement o. Period is 7 days late today, I did test on Sunday it was negative, no specific symptoms, only cramps sometimes and nipple pain and tender breast. I'm still waiting for my period anyways. Is it possible to be pregnant without symptoms, I don't want to test again because I don't want to cry. Although sometimes my period comes late but not with nipple pain and tender breast. This journey is so lonely. I just want to have my babies too

I feel you. I tested negative 1 week to my period (nor blame me for testing early, I was tired of waiting), period never came and I also had sore breast and painful nipple. Waited 14 days after before testing again and it was positive, God will see you through

Good morning mamas, I have so many complaints and fears but let me start with the one that's trying to give me BP. The first hospital I used did not so syphilis test for me, I changed hospital at 27 weeks to UBTH (university of Benin teaching hospital), the stress is crazy, I was asked to do the syphilis test but the whole procedure and crowd was really tiring and I was already noticing symptoms. My last anti-natal visit, I complained to my doctor and he told me he can't do anything till I run the test. My next anti-natal is 23rd hence that is when I can submit the results even if I do the test now. I just noticed that the rash in my vagina is getting worse when I went to urinate this morning and decided to check Google where I was told I was suppose to check and treat for syphilis before 23 weeks else it will cross over to my baby and one of the consequences is still birth, pre term labor, death shortly after birth or long term birth defect. See eh, my mind just scatter, should I start running to the hospital? I just entered my tired trimester, I am already 27 weeks gone, I am confused. What if I have infected my baby? What if something happens to her, see eh, I don't know if I should start crying or running to hospital.

Ok, 2nd issue, heat and cramps (muscle pull) want to kill me. What kind of combination is that? I have to bath cold water to reduce the cramps but the heat won't allow me bath the cold water. My husband is now monitoring me once I enter bathroom, just to see if I want to bath cold water. I can't bath hot water, make person nor die cause of heat, yet the cramps hold me for neck, he nor gree leave me alone.

3rd, I am angry, like I am always angry. Am I ok like this? Abeg somebody come to my rescue o, I will enter road to hospital on Monday sha, I just need people to talk to first make thinking nor kill me. My husband thinks I am just giving myself unnecessary pressure, how come he is not understanding me?

Hi mama! . I'm fine o. Asides fatigue and pelvic pain sha. Finding the right position to sleep at night is tiring. It's well. I'm doing ten squats daily. That's the level my strength can carry. May God make it easy for us. Isaiah 66:7 "before the labour pain comes, we will deliver our babies." Fast and easy labour in Jesus name. Amen! I dey eye December o

I didn't have cs with my first child but I experienced some of your symptoms. My appetite was almost nonexistent, I had severe pains on both legs and I couldn't even walk for days, I cried alot and felt like nothing was working for me, thanks to my mum and sisters for always being there for me. It's not common to have such pains after vaginal birth but I did so you see everybody is different. The good thing is that you will be ok, just have people who cares around you.
