I wonder how any bomb dropped from an F-7 jet will fall at a 90 degree angle towards a frigate, unless dropped in a vertical dive. If the pilot released his bomb at 26 000 feet and then only starts to pull of of his dive, simple laws of physics dictate his turn circle will be well within Umkhonto's range....which means a dead pilot . If he releases his bomb well above 26 000 feet and pulls out of the dive above that height, your target will be LONG gone. See related pic . Harmless bombs falling into the water. Released in horizontal flight, bombs will have a parabolic arc. Hence no need for 90 degree elevation for our naval guns. Oh and I seem to recall a certain well known reta.rd asking us how our Hawk/Gripen jets will be able to see targets "through the clouds" when flying at 5.5km (above Roland missile ceiling). I wonder if he's able to explain how F-7 pilots will see "through the clouds" at 8 km when making their final bomb run. A full 2.5 km of "extra cloud " to blind the pilot. ATR-42 can give general position of target, but the F-7 pilot is still has zero visual. When people spew cra.p on here and hope others forget.

agaugust:This matter was dealth with ages ago. Do not dare waste my time. Do you remember where this topic went to next when we dealt with it last time? I said post the website in which you found this pic. I asked what must the rest of us type into google to find that same pic. Post the link to where YOU found the pic. What did you type into google to find that image? Your mouth suddenly went quiet. You ran away like a small little b*tch. You were given the perfect oppurtunity to shut me up once and for all by simple posting which website you found that pic. That was months ago. But you couldn't. You couldn't because that screengrab was created by you, you never found it anywhere on the net. Simple. Case closed. I will not waste anymore time on this. |
agaugust:You have been utterly beaten in the argument that you've resorted to posting this utter rubb.ish? I told you i will demolish you....and this is your best response? Pathetic. At what speed and altitude will you drop these "incendiary bombs" Mr Reasearcher? Is it still 2000km/h and 7.5 km? What speed? You'll drop them at supersonic speed? ![]() You were uttelry embarrased on here flying your jets at 2000 km/h not knowing you cant hit us with munitions....you fake ![]() |
agaugust:YOU POSTED THIS PICTURE ON THIS FORUM ON FEBRUARY 8TH www.nairaland.com/attachments/2105544_nnscentenarymissiletest1_jpega387fe8fc46fcbe4608e557957ef826f https://www.nairaland.com/1386870/african-militaries-security-services-strictly/97#30529344. THE SAME PICTURE WAS POSTED ON FEBRUARY 9TH ON BEEGEAGLE BLOG BY ITS OWNER "AUGUSTINE" https://beegeagle./2015/02/09/was-the-nigerian-navy-stealth-opv-nns-centenary-f91-ever-involved-in-the-test-firing-of-missiles-is-the-ship-missile-armed/ Tell us you fake, how were you able to have the picture BEFORE the owner posted it on the internet? You used a time machine? Or the simple answer, you, Augustine posted your screengrab here first, and then on Beegeagle the next day. Simple. You think you're talking to a bunch of 5 year olds? |
agaugust:Let me expose how you are a fake researcher for the millionth time, grab a seat and enjoy .Our Navy is fully aware that there is no weapon which F-7 carries that can be dropped from 7.5 km altitude flying at 2000 km/h. There is nothing to defend against, there is no need to fire any missiles. Do you know why it's an obviously fake attack? Because F-7 can't even drop any munitions while travelling at 2000 km/h you f00l . Most fighter jets in service today are incapable of supersonic munitions release. Jets usually have to slow down to release any munitions. That's something you didn't know.....at all . I believe the F-22 Raptor is the only jet so far which has demonstrated super sonic release of munitions. Not sure about Typhoon and Rafale. THE ONLY WAY for you to get a SA Navy Frigate to fire at you, is if you get into a flight envelope which will give Umkhonto a high probability of hitting the target. So keep flying at 2000 km/h at 7.5 km and waste your fuel, we wont be bothered. Your F-7 pilot will have to get into a flight regime which allows him to use his guns, OR aim un-guided rockets at the Frigate. All of those flight regimes put him within deadly range of Umkhonto, sending the pilot to an early grave. Enjoy your lesson, you fake. |
agaugust:Take this rub.bish off this website, you fake. Useless fake. You think our Navy will fire Umkhonto missiles like they are cheap bullets? No missiles will be fired at any aircraft at the extreme range of Umkhonto, particularly since at extreme range (15km) your F-7 jets have nothing to hit us with. Umkhonto is fired at targets with a high probability of hitting, meaning one of your pilots has been stu.pid enough to get within range. What makes you think the battle will last 48 hours? 10 minutes is all we need. A South African submarine anywhere from 12-18 km away from your OPV will make easy work of it. 48 hours for what? And don't even dare come here with "Umkhonto and F-7 have the same speed".......you have proved time and time again that you are not technically inclined (e.g air pressure argument). You will be demolished. It's something called physics, not sure if you've heard of it. Example: An F-7 jet 15 km away (out of range of Umkhonto) flies at Mach 2 straight towards our Frigate, pretending to attack (in the hope that we fire and waste a missile). He has to get within 15 km for us to be even interested in firing at him. If he starts turning away BEFORE he enters 15 km diameter, it's obvious it's a fake attack. No missiles will be fired. He has to FIRST get into range of our missiles, hope we fire at him, THEN turn away. Do you know that at this point your pilot is already dead? The turn circle of your F-7 flying at Mach 2 will not be measured in meters. It will be measured in kilometers. Reason for this? G-Force. Centrifugal forces at Mach 2 are so high that your pilot will literally need kilometers to turn, at a reasonable G-Force (4-6 G's). Your soon to be dead pilot has created a massive turn circle within range of Umkhonto. To make things worse, for half of that turn he has a component of his velocity vector point straight to the frigate. Meaning at this point the closure speed between Umkhonto and F-7 is greater than Mach 2 (I know you don't understand that last sentence, but the others do). Your pilot is doomed. Unlike Umkhonto, he cannot make high speed, high G turns (40G at Mach 2). Same applies if the pilot gets into a dive from high altitude. Your fake attacks outside of Umkhonto range will be clearly fake to everyone. No missiles fired. Your fake attacks inside of Umkhonto range will result in nothing but pure death. ![]() |
lezz:Yes you are right. You are making perfect sense. The less pics and videos a certain military has, the more effective they are. Go complain to the person who took out his phone and recorded the convoy. Dont waste my time. |
lezz:Go deal with Boko Haram who started with sticks and stones, and ended up with tanks and anti-aircraft guns right under the nose of your superior and mighty military. ![]() |

After the retirement of the Cactus system, the SA Army only really had 35 mm guns for air defence. It's good to see that the Ground Based Air Defence System (GBADS) is coming along nicely, and that army planners are thinking ahead. Instead of rushing to implement systems at the last hour. GBADS Phase 1. Short range Starstreak missile and launchers. Operational. https://www.defenceweb.co.za/images/stories/LAND/LAND_new/gbads-DISS-006.jpg GBADS Phase 2. Ugrade of twin 35 mm guns with Skyshield FCU and AHEAD ammunition. Ongoing. https://www.armyrecognition.com/images/stories/europe/germany/artillery_vehicle/skyshield/Skyshield_35_FCU_Fire_Control_Unit_short-range_air_defense_system_Rheinmetall_German_Germany_defense_industry_details_001.jpg GBADS Phase 2 Continued. 20km range land-based Umkhonto missile launchers. Testing and evaluation phase. From what I know the hardware (missiles, launch containers, etc) is ready, while the fire control software is being tweaked and finalized by the likes of CSIR and Reutech Radar Systems. https://admin.denel.co.za/uploads/4f37761a26ba11b2fa44aa5a84d6719b.jpg |
http://www.engineeringnews.co.za/article/sa-air-defence-artillery-to-be-upgraded-by-german-group-2014-03-28 Article from 2014. Upgrade of Air Defence guns is set for completion in 2017. https://us-cdn.creamermedia.co.za/assets/articles/images/resized/0000301282_resized_kyshieldairdefencesystem1022.jpg Major German defence group Rheinmetall AG has announced that it has won a contract to modernise the South African Army’s (SA Army’s) air defence artillery systems. The value of the contract has not been revealed. The modernisation contract, “signed several days ago,” in the words of the company announcement, includes the provision of Skyshield FCUs and the refitting of a number of the existing twin 35 mm guns so that they will be able to use Rheinmetall’s latest generation Ahead ammunition, giving them Mk VII status. Each Ahead shell is composed of 152 tungsten spin-stabilised sub-projectiles, which, when released, form a cone-shaped metal cloud, placed so that the target, whether aircraft, missile or bomb, flies into it and is destroyed. Each shell knows when to detonate because its electronic timer is programmed, as it leaves the barrel, by an electromagnetic inductor in the gun muzzle. These inductors are fitted to the Mk VII guns. The modernisation of the SA Army’s twin 35 mm gun air defence artillery falls under a programme designated as Gbads Phase II. Gbads stands for ground based air defence system. |
Lol. A certain un-named f00l is planning on firing unguided rockets into water using Alpha jets, in the hope of sinking a submarine . Not to mention the fact that Umkhonto would have long shot down any Alpha jets nearby, before they can execute such a stu.pid plan.

agaugust:If you bring Nigerian standards to this argument you will be demolished each and every time. Firstly...."50-70%" is NOT an agreement or contract. That is simply the Chinese playing you like f00ls. A firm agreement or contract will state that these specific parts will be built by these specific companies, no later than this specific time, and not costing more than this specific price. If costs are over-run or if production is late, penalties are paid. That is a firm agreement or contract. Do not dare come here with Nigerian standards..."we'll build-o 50-70% depending on what mood we're in". Secondly....every single bolt and screw on that ship is paid for by the Nigerian Navy. In that hole you called a head, you think it's wise to have the Chinese build the superstructure, the bulkhead, the communication mask, fittings. Sail it to Nigeria, then have Nigeria disassemble what they dont like, add their own bits? Listen to yourself f00l. Your small brain is confusing modularity with construction. If that ship had anyhing to do with Nigeria building 50-70% of it, its keel would have been laid in Nigeria. There is nothing more to that ship Nigeria can add to in the construction phase...simple. The Chinese lied to you...deal with it. Argument over. Oh and why are airliners pressurized? Why do you keep running away from the question like a little b.itch? |
agaugust:Can you see how useless your brain is. A picture is a picture is a picture. Beegeagle source or BBC source. It's a picture, not an article. Again, you are out of your intellectual depth. Just like the air pressure argument, this is not for you. You will be demolished. Ships are built in pre-fabricated modules and welded together. Do you know what that means? It means each pre-fabricated module must have it's fittings, electronics, cables in places before they place them together for final welding. Once modules are placed together, then you can strip connections, re-wire, changes pipes and valves etc in a later mid-life re-fit. Or you think an empty shell will arrive in Nigeria, and some Ogugubugu will crawl around the ship fitting electrical cables? You think you're only looking at a metal hull and engine in the second picture? What engine control system is controlling the engine from the bridge? Or they sail it to Nigeria just hoping nothing goes wrong? The captain knows his engine RPM, power output, efficiency at all time. Meaning engine control software is installed. Meaning systems monitoring pressure, temperature etc are installed. Communication mast is installed. Navigation systems are operating (or they used the stars to navigate from China to Cape Town, then Cape Town to Nigeria?) You are out of your intellectual depth. Simple While I'm at it....tell us why airliners are pressurized at high altitude. Nigeria got NOTHING/ZERO anywhere close to "50-70%" of anything. |
Complete F91 - straight from China https://www.sinaimg.cn/dy/slidenews/8_img/2015_07/61342_406649_713871.jpg Second F92 - still in China https://www.militaryparitet.com/editor/assets/new/files2/comparing.png There is no "Nigerian 70%". The Chinese played these f00ls like kids. Maybe the Chinese will let them "install" cups and saucers for the officers' mess. Or maybe the Chinese will let them install light bulbs. |
agaugust:Lmao....how is an A400M going to fly without the massive structure which connects the wings to the fuselage? How is Gripen going to fly without a rear fuselage? Just like how i demolished you in the dense air argument (you still havent told us why airliners are pressurized coward)....i will demolish you now. A bridge can be built with a safety factor of over 5. Since weight is not a crucial factor. Aircraft cant. They have safety factors of 1.3/1.4/1.5 etc. Meaning parts have to be precision engineered, using high tech equipment. You think its a simple welding job in someon's back garden? You simple f00l. Airbus did not cancel our work package when the SAAF cancelled it's order of A400M's because they could see for themselves how high the quality of work is. The article about Nigeria building 70% of a stealth warship came before the 1st ship was even built. China lied to you...simple. Deal with it. The 1st OPV arrived fully built. Pics have been seen of the 2nd one, in China, almost fully built. Entire superstructure is closed. Communication tower is up. That is a complete ship. Nigeria is building 70% of nothing. The Chinese lied to some clueless Nigerian official just to get that contract. |
agaugust:Nigeria built no sophisticated stealth war ship. Do not spew your lies here. China buit that 1st ship and sailed it to Nigeria. The 2nd stealth ship is almost fully built in China. Pics have been posted. You said SA DOES NOT produce any major parts for Airbus and Gripen. Those pics i posted where a nice bloody nose for you. Enjoy. http://www.denelaerostructures.com/album/Clients/52 |
agaugust:Gripen rear fuselage. Made in SA. Major component Gripen weapons pylon. Made in SA. Over 600 Gripen main landing gear delivered. Made in SA. Major component. All in all. Major fail for the researcher.
|
agaugust:Pieces of cardboard and paint? Maybe if Nigeria was asked to manufacture. Denel produces parts which are structurally important to the Airbus A400M. If those parts fail...the plane crashes. Fail...again! Go swim in your jealousy.

patches689:Lmao!!!! He isnt very good with time. Like when i confronted him as to how it was possible for him to have posted the missile launch screengrab pics BEFORE "Augustine" from Beegeagle (who owns those pics).....he said the screengrab he posted travelled at the speed of light through the internet, back in time. Making it possible for the Augustine on Beegeagle to have them first, but still after him . #mindblown |
AugustineAgain:Perfect example of someone talking but saying nothing at all ![]() Someone who does "research" would know not to just jump at making a statement without getting a solid reference first. You saw black faces standing infront of a chopper and proudly claimed they are Nigerian student pilots .Nigerians are the only black people on earth? Research fail. Straight to the dustbin it goes. Even worse you called them STUDENT pilots. For example, what if Nigeria had been secretly training pilots in Turkey for over a year...and those were fully qualified pilots? What if that was their last day in Turkey before going home? Who told you they were students? You see how you just add your own "data" when you have nothing to say? You see how you just make sh*t up? Be a man....tell us. Who told you they were student pilots? Tell us now. |
Henry120:Dont waste one single more movement of your fingers replying to me if you aren't able to tell me which one of your facts are facts. 26 Gripen pilots in 2013 or 6 Gripen pilots in 2013. Understand? Good. You see how you found a link and article regarding that Nigerian officer linked to the pic you posted? Your fellow Nigerian just saw two black males standing infront of a chopper and jumped on it. "Nigerian student pilots in Turkey" ![]() So much for military "research". |
This still kills me ![]() "Nigerian pupil pilots in Turkey"
|
AugustineAgain:Can you not see me doing exactly that? I am continuing. There is nothing wrong with being a military enthusiast. Most people on the forum are. But it shows a great deal of mental sickness when you come here and say "you are a military researcher who works with former U.S fighter pilots" That is mental sickness. Same researcher who makes the MAMMOTH mistake of not being able to identify his own country's uniform .I'll tell you why you did it. Because when you were growning up with your ba...b...ba...bad stutter the other kids didn't want to play with you. Now you assume an online persona that you think will amaze and impress others, simply to make up for the attention you never got while growing up. No one can physically kick you off any forum, but stop fvcken lying. You do not "sit in an office with former fighter pilots". |
.
