Let's not forget that this man took 40 shots of tequila. Thats a fatal amount of alcohol, which can make anyone fall in and out of consciousness. So that defintely contributed to his death.

Yes. Not only is it too broad, its vague and boring. A true conversanist understands the importance of interest and detail in a convo. By asking that question, you're putting the conversation at risk, because there's too many directions that it can go from there. Just my opinion, so i definitely do not need to question my sanity. Nobody is picking offence to the question. The question is simply too broad and triggers an uninteresting conversation. What does being sane have to do with anything? That question doesn't sit well with me, do i now have to question my santity? True conversationalists know what's good. Choose your words wisely.

Hmmm...I think it's an expectation gap...which I think is what Laveda intend to address with this thread. Guys need to know what ladies want in a convo and Ladies need to know what is expected of them either. The point is WE ARE ALL MENTALLY LAZY...Seriously, that question shouldn't put you off. BY the time you tell me about yourself...naturally convo will arise from what we've both said about each other. We need to know how much we are alike and how farther we are in terms of likes, growing up and fantasies..It has to come up one way or the other.

It's not a fairy tale love, its reality. 'Tell me about yourself?' Ive lived in this world for 22 years, i could literally write an autobiography, where do i start? How about being more specific and interesting with your question? It's not rocket science. It's basic social and human interaction skills that everyone should have. It has nothing to do with being mentally lazy.
