Applying the standard rules of innocent until proven guilty in this case is not entirely justified. Given the situations on ground in Nigeria, one is more apt to assume guilty until innocent.
Only a little investigation needs to be done. The blog from which that picture comes has a lot more luxury cars from Ferraris to Jaguars, all in Abuja. I think there's a clique that uses this for street drag racing. During these racing episodes, some of the cars are heavily bashed and there are pictures there as well to show it. The only conclusion one comes to, is that these racers have these cars only for show purposes and as far as I can tell wouldn't be able to afford such extravagance if the money was hard-earned.

The sensible thing in the Nigerian context when we don't know who the owner is is that we should assume it is a crook because the odds are it is ill-gotten wealth. Just like you sensibly assumed the a rich civil servant in a corrupt country was a crook without knowing his other backgrounds.

When we know who the owner is, then we can judge based on individuals.

If someone tells me "Oh, that is Don Jazzy's car" then I would stop thinking it is a crook.

If someone tells me "Oh, that is Okocha's car" then I would stop thinking it is a crook.

If someone tells me "Oh, that is the car of the owner of X university" then I would stop thinking it is a crook.

If someone tells me "Oh, that is Ben Bruce's car" then I would stop thinking it is a crook.

If someone tells me "Oh, that is Bayo Ogunlesi's car" then I would stop thinking it is a crook.

If someone tells me "Oh, that is Ladi Balogun's car" then I would stop thinking it is a crook.

Lets be sensible in our analysis.
