Suspected terrorists attacked the Langson community in Kaduna State, killing at least 10 people and injuring four others.

A woman identified as Ifeoma Ossai has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing her 50-year-old landlord, Monday Oladele.

Nine individuals have been abducted by a group of gunmen. The gunmen attacked the Grow Homes Estate. This is along Kuchibiyi in the Kubuwa area of the Federal Capital Territory.

The attack occurred around 11:30 pm on Friday. Sadly, about 20 gunmen invaded the estate, dispossessing residents of their belongings. They ended up kidnapping nine people, including children and women, from two apartments in the estate.

A resident of the estate, who spoke to journalists on the phone, disclosed that the gunmen escaped through the bush that links the community to Paze village.

However, the police and estate security personnel have been combing the bushes in the area to rescue the kidnapped residents.

The spokesperson for the police in Abuja, SP Josephine Adeh confirmed the incident. He disclosed that the police immediately deployed their men to the scene when they got the distress call.

Meanwhile, some victims were rescued. But the assailants escaped with others into the bush. She urged residents not to panic. However, urged residents to provide useful information that could lead to the swift arrest of the criminals.

Fayose, Former Ekiti Governor has announced his resignation from The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He made this announcement while appearing as a guest on a programme on ARISE News yesterday.
