Igboid: For those asking for minorities who were members of Biafran government. Biafra was divided into Provinces and minorities had theirs with indigenous provincial administrators. this is not the list of leaders in eastern region assembly in the first republic of 1960 to 1966. Eastern house of assembly was dissolved in 1966. Who are these unknown men? Were they elected at any time? Only Frank opigo held an elective office among those wannabes. Ojukwu called a meeting of unknown wannabes and said the whole Ijaw,Ogoni,Ikwerre,Efik, etc were involved. Eastern consultative assembly is not eastern regional house of assembly. No Rivers man will fall for this nonsense. |

Frankdaz9: How Nigeria will disintegrate finally in the coming months. (According to my prediction)
1) APC crisis 2) Tinubu confesses 3) As Covid19 eases Massive Protests across Biafra land 4) Protest spreads to the North with indigenous people rebelling against the fulanis. 5) Nigerian Army will foolishly shoot unarmed civilians. 6) Fulanis begin their already planned killings and invasion. 7) IPOB finally stands up to defend themselves with arms.
Unrest in the Nigeria Army as disagreement and division ignites. 9) Division of the Nigeria Army due to disagreement on shooting innocent protesters.
It is at this very moment 2 things has to happen.
1) America/UN deploys envoy to tranquilize the situation by leading the process of Referendum.
2) Southern and espescially Western (Yorubas) Leaders say enough is enough and push for Biafra and Oduduwa rep.
First wave of Biafra liberation happened back when MNK was incarcerated.
If this second time everybody don't come out in mass and push for total freedom, then just as MNK said :

IkwerrePikin: Oga you don’t have anything to say and can’t prove me wrong because the Ikwerre man will defeat an Igbo man in a primary election if power comes to the South irrespective of the party. Yoruba will gladly support Rotimi Amaechi from Rivers state than an Igbo and same with the North.
Rotimi Amaechi is greater than all Igbo politicans put together and have achieved more than any igbo politician today! Prove me wrong if you can!
Majority of Nigerians are not comfortable voting an Igbo man because you play ethnic politics, you guys are too tribalistic and we can’t trust you with your biafrans struggle when you offer nothing to the Nigerian state expect migrating from one state to another claiming other people’s land as no mans land.
You better drum support for Rotimi Amaechi now because he is the only person that can help you Igbos when he gets there. He is far better than the hausa-fulani or Yoruba with his Igbo wife from Anambra. Stop ranting, Igbo President can not be achieved now.
Nobody will give you President, you have to fight for it! If Igbo have not ruled what about Urhobor,Ibibio,Ogoni and so on?? You think Nigerians are fools? If you igbos want to play politics base on ethnicity you will loose and keep losing!
As it stance, you igbos are confused with Biafra and Nigeria. Nobody is forcing you to remain in Nigeria, and we will not beg you people to remain Nigerians with Presidency, it can not happen, if you want to be President fight for it, stop shouting Igbo have turn, who gave you the turn? How much does the Igbo states contribute to the federal government with what resources?? Is it Aba market or Onitsha market? All the Niger delta oil money you people have been eating as monthly allocation what have you used it to do? Have you been able to develop the South East? Can the South East stand the Yoruba states? Niger delta cities like Port harcourt and Calabar? Can South East stand the Northern state? And you want us to vote for your under performed ex governors who have stolen you people dry to be President? lucidly said, this is the reality on ground. |

Politics › Re: The Incredible Letter Ojukwu Wrote To Victor Banjo At The Start Of The War(pic) by sageb: 8:09am On Jun 28, 2020 |
swankyshank: Ojukwu wasn’t fighting for yoruba liberation. He was seeking a situation where Nigeria will be at war on three different fronts. This will have greatly improved his chances of being the victor. You don’t claim to liberate people who haven’t complained to you to be under any slavery. He was trying to conquer by decoy. Reading that letter (in the assumption it’s real), he wrote about appointing Banjo governor, who gave him that right? That gives an idea of his true intentions.
He gave a secret directive to the Biafran army rank and file not to take command from any non core Igbo commander in any conquered state as evidently read from accounts of what happened after the midwest was conquered.
You claim to liberate people but your soldiers looted all the financial institutions (CBN Benin at the time in focus), plunder and pilliage people’s businesses, rape the women and generally do what conquering soldiers do all over the world. This is from the account of Col (later Gen) David Ejoor, the serving military governor at the time.
He then disrupted and forcefully removed the administration of Ejoor (who had to escape the government House on a bicycle according to him), appointed or installed as some will say, Col Okonkwo (a core Igbo military doctor) governor of midwestern state when you had serving officers from midwestern tribes in that battalion. Hell, the Col Okonkwo even had to be given emergency promotion from Major to Colonel bypassing other officers superior to him.
All these happened in a midwestern state that had declared itself neutral in the war and granted passage without resistance to the biafran forces. That’s why there was non stop resistance (to the Biafran colored administration) from different segments of the general population. Ojukwu/Enugu tried to be too clever by half by renaming the midwestern state “Republic of Benin”. A republic that has to take directives from ‘Enugu’ is nothing but pretence and deception. It can be likened to the “Hand of Esau and voice of Jacob” theory which is rightfully a strategy that can be deployed in war. The general populace saw through the veil and responded with sustained civil disobedience.
Seeing all these, Banjo could not have handed over the west to him. Even members of his council like Ifeajuna, Alale and co saw through this and pointed it out to him that’s why they were set up, court marshaled for treason and executed.
I have read over 10 books from different authors like Conrad Nwawo, Dennis Osadebey, Adewale Ademoyega, Olu Obasanjo, Forsyth (this is according to the perspective of Ojukwu himself and the book is titled ‘Emeka’) and others so I could draw conclusions from different sources.
He did what he could for his people, but he’s no yoruba hero and nobody betrayed him cos nobody sent an SOS to him in the first place. He should have concentrated on fighting his Igbo war, liberating his own people and left it at that.
Finally, a war was fought, lessons were learnt and the nation has moved on. Let nobody try to distort facts or sell Ojukwu as who or what he certainly wasn’t. i am glad you know the truth. Ejoor told both Gowon his choice of neutrality, but Ojukwu sent colonel ochuzie to capture Ejoor, dead or alive. later on, samuel igbemudia set up a commitee to investigate and find out those that aid biafra invasion of midwest. |

IkwerrePikin: Stop ranting online, Igbos have no political strength or acceptability in the Nigeria today, the ikwerres stand better chance than the Igbos when power comes to the South and the earlier you know this the better for you because an Ikwerre man as president is far better than a yoruba or hausa-fulani to you Igbos. Ikwerre don’t care about fighting the Igbos and will help the Igbos when we can. The only problem we have with you Igbos is that, you don’t respect our ethnicity, our history, our origin from the great Benin Kingdom, and the rate at which you people dominated and marginalize Ikwerre people and other ethnic groups in the Niger delta during Eastern region govt, and how you igbos killed a lot of us during the Biafran war just because we don’t want to be part of biafra due to the awful experience we had in Eastern region govt which was dominated by the Igbos from the House of rep to job opportunities.
Well with that aside, Lets do the maths: Between Ikwerre and Igbo who will win in a primary election here in the South?
1. Ikwerre (Amaechi) will win all the South South, South west and get parts of South East! If an Igbo contest with him.
2. But Igbo will only win South East votes and can not gather more support from South South and South West when an Ikwerre man is contesting with him! Kiss the truth. You’re not fully accepted in the South compare to Ikwerres.
Now to the North, Ikwerres (Amaechi) are more pro Nigeria and more accepted, loved and trusted in the North more than the Igbos. The North showed us love with the creation of old Rivers state, the North showed us Love with amnesty for militants and currently Buhari have settled all the militants that is why you see calm today. The north supported us when we wanted NDDC.
Wike recently renamed Aba Road to Gowon Road and Liberation stadium to Gowon stadium! We showed the North in the person of Gowon that we appreciate the support they gave to us in the creation of Old Rivers state frok Igbo dominated Eastern region because we Ikwerre people are simple, honest and not as greedy and tribalistic like you Igbos.
We Ikwerre people are trusted by the North, you can see how close Buhari and Amaechi is today!
You Igbos can’t stand Ikwerre in National leadership in Politics today! You will have no other option than to accept Ikwerre man ( Amaechi) and support him to represent you Igbos just like you supported Jonathan where Isaac Boro who fought against you igbos during biafra hails from!
It’s not by ranting! You can’t even win Primary election we know what Amaechi can do. As governor, we supported him for his landmark achievement. The lion of Ubima will defeat any Igbo politician they bring forward. |
