Phones › Re: Could My Phone Be Monitored Or Hacked?(pics) by SaintBeehot(m): 9:00am On Sep 20, 2021 |
Denn: Privacy in Nigeria is one of the worst in the world.
Any agency can call your ISP and quote cyber terrorism laws just to retrieve and monitor you. To make matters worse, no sanctions are in place for people who use crooked means to harvest your data.
To reduce these, do at least the following: *assume everyone can see everything on your phone *dont buy phones from easybuy. If you do, try and format it after making all payments. *dont borrow from those chinese loan apps. If you have done, assume everything about you is in plenty unsecured computers both in Nigeria and china. Everything. *use DuckDuckGo for search and Tor for those websites you dont want linked to you. *avoid phones with bloatware as much as possible. Disable those apps that you cant delete. *review app permissions and modify accordingly *dont download just any app you see. Any app you dont use at least once a month is possibly redundant *dont click links you see on porn sites. *treat every website trying to divert you to another website as a suspect. *every website you visit has a tendency to track you. Clear cookies as often as possible. Use a privacy focused browser. *Google and Facebook are not your friends.
These are just a few basics. You can research more on privacy online. So you want to blame Nigeria again, ask the man to turn off VPN or any proxy settings he may have done on his phone. |

Infolenka: Stop deluding yourselves. Nigeria isn't winning any medal on track and field this Olympics.
I was even happy Okagbare was disqualified because she would have qualifed for the finals and lost 7th or 8th. I've been following all Diamond league events this year and she's not had faster times than at least 5 of her competitors the likes of Fraser price, Asher Smith, Elaine Thompson, Ta Lou to name a few.
This one that made it through to the semi finals will not even see 6th position if she somehow makes the finals.
Don't get your hopes up. Ignore that 4th place ranking. Better 100m hurdle runners with faster times this year are waiting in the finals. you really need to change your mindset. |

CaveAdullam: DAY 113, REDPILL 2021
Romance is man's weakness and yet it's that which helps to smoothen his rough edges. Man is not infallible to a woman's charm and seduction. She's capable of projecting a man's romantic ideal into reality by dissimulation. Charm and seduction is what women used in beguiling men. A flash of any of her bodily parts is capable of fortifying such deceit.
Many men has fallen victim due to ignorance or negligence. And if they continue with such mindset and attitude, they will continue remain hostages.
Authority: swallow the redpill. Any solution to this boss? |

Sports › Milwaukee Bucks Win NBA Finals To End 50-year Title Drought by SaintBeehot(op): 6:52am On Jul 21, 2021 |
Milwaukee Bucks win NBA finals to end 50-year title drought July 21, 2021 by Segun Adewole Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 50 points in an astounding all-around performance and the Milwaukee Bucks captured their first NBA title since 1971 by defeating the Phoenix Suns 105-98 on Tuesday. The Bucks won the best-of-seven NBA Finals by four games to two, becoming only the fifth team to claim the crown after dropping the first two contests. Antetokounmpo, only the seventh player in finals history with a 50-point game, added 14 rebounds and five blocked shots as the Bucks went a NBA-best 10-1 at home in the playoffs to end their 50-year title drought. “I want to thank Milwaukee for believing in me. I want to thank my teammates for playing hard with me,” Antetokounmpo said. “I’m thankful I was able to get it done.” Two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Antetokounmpo had been questionable for the opener with a hyperextended knee. But the 26-year-old Greek forward matched Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon as the only players to take NBA Finals MVP and NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season. “He’s a special human being. I’ve learned so much from him. He’s a special leader,” said Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer. “These players are champions every day. They’ve embraced getting better every day.” An expanded “Deer District” party zone outside the sold-out 20,000-seat arena welcomed 65,000 people watching on videoscreens and they had the celebration they had hoped to enjoy. “I’m happy I was able to do it with this team for Milwaukee,” said Antetokounmpo. “And Coach Bud says we have to do it again.” The Suns were foiled in their bid for the first crown in their 53-year history. Phoenix guard Chris Paul, playing in the first NBA Finals of his 16-year at age 36, led the Suns with 26 points. “It hurts. Badly,” Suns coach Monty Williams said. “But I’m also grateful we had this chance to play for a championship. The fourth quarter, it was pretty evident we just couldn’t score enough. We just couldn’t convert.” Relentless Antetokounmpo, an often weak free throw shooter who made 17-of-19 from the line, scored 12 of his 20 third-quarter points in a 16-8 Bucks run that gave Milwaukee a 58-55 lead only 4:34 into the second half. He was the first with a 20-point quarter in the finals since Jordan and the game hung on a knife’s edge, deadlocked at 77-77 entering the fourth quarter. Antetokounmpo scored eight for the Bucks in a 10-6 Milwaukee run for a 94-88 lead midway into the fourth quarter and time and again he would answer when the Suns cut into the Bucks’ lead. Phoenix’s Jae Crowder made two free throws to pull the Suns within 100-96 with 1:14 remaining but Khris Middleton answered with a jumper and added two free throws for an eight-point Milwaukee lead. Paul missed a 3-pointer, Middleton grabbed the rebound and Bucks fans began celebrating. “Everybody has got to process this and collect their thoughts,” Paul said after the game. Middleton added 17 points for the Bucks while Bobby Portis had 16 off the Bucks bench and Jrue Holiday had 12 points and 11 assists. Devin Booker added 19 points for Phoenix while Crowder had 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Suns. Paul fell to 0-13 in playoff games when game-six referee crew chief Scott Foster officiated. Paul had been critical of Foster after past outings. The streak included Milwaukee’s win in game three of the finals, in which Antetokounmpo had 17 free throws and the Suns had only 16. https://punchng.com/12-killed-in-flooded-china-subway-after-rainstorms/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social.Lalasticlala. |

Investment › Fintech Firm Raises $1.5m Funding After SEC Licence by SaintBeehot(op): 9:06pm On Jul 19, 2021 |
Fintech firm raises $1.5m funding after SEC licenceChaka, a Nigerian Digital Sub-broker that offers both local and foreign stocks to individuals, has announced the closing of its $1.5m pre-seed round. According to a statement, the company said that this funding will serve as a catalyst in its bid to continue to enable borderless investments across Africa and deliver digital investments solutions for African businesses. It also said it will be used towards the expansion of the Fintech’s footprints in West Africa to reach more retail investors and attract more foreign players to African Capital Markets. It said the pre-seed round was led by Breyer Capital, while 4DX Ventures, Golden Palm Investments, Future Africa, Seedstars, and Musha Ventures. Commenting on the funding secured, Tosin Osibodu, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Tosin Osibodu, Chaka Technologies said, “This is indeed a significant milestone for us at Chaka. We see digital investments as an opportunity to boost economic transformation in Africa, and our goal is to use this funding to bring this vision to life. “With this capital, we will focus on our goals to build a roster of formidable partners and accelerate our expansion to other markets within Africa. This investment also enables us to hire top talent and integrate more advanced functionalities into our investment and wealth management solutions for businesses. “Our mission remains the same and we are excited to be backed by VCs like Breyer Capital that trust us and are extremely optimistic of the possibilities that exist for Chaka and Africa.” Also speaking on the funding, CEO of Breyer Capital, Jim Breyer said, “We are proud to combine efforts with a company that is levelling the investment playing field for Nigerians and Africans at large. “We’re confident in the value Chaka provides through its digital tools, and we look forward to playing our part in supporting Chaka’s team on their mission to drive borderless investments in Africa.” In April 2021, the Securities Exchange Commission declared digital investment platforms illegal and warned capital market operators working with them to renege on providing brokerage services for foreign securities. SEC said it wanted to bring the activities of the platforms under its purview as part of its efforts to safeguard the investing public. Last month, Chaka got the first fintech licence issued by the SEC, making it the only investment platform operating as a digital sub-broker. According to a report on TechCrunch, Chaka gives Nigerians access to more than 10,000 stocks and exchange-traded funds on local and foreign capital markets. Osibodu was quoted as saying, “When we launched, we kept SEC in the loop. But now, over the last six months, we’ve engaged with them, showed them our business models, the benefits, and the markets. Now, we’re proud to have SEC’s first fintech licence. “We believe that the most important thing is that the market has clarity and understands the regulations required to be registered. And we’re thrilled to have broken new ground and cleared up what it takes to be able to offer services in the market.” https://punchng.com/fintech-firm-raises-1-5m-funding-after-sec-licence/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social |
