Neonspook: The cowardly Justice Inyang Ekpo enabled the states criminality. If there's no formal charge them theirs no case to be had. The state didn't contest the case so it should be an automatic win for the defense. Theres no reason to delay justice if the state made it clear they dont care enough to appear in court. This is not being fair to the Judge. Have you tried to see some of the cases handled by this Judge you're calling a coward? Sometimes it's better to ask questions than come on social media to display your ignorance. That a case was not defended does not give the Plaintiff an automatic victory. Every case must succeed on its merit. |
Sports › Re: Are Non-african Professional Footballers Really Innocent Of Age Fraud? by saintchibu(m): 4:41pm On Dec 16, 2020 |
Tripitaka: Every weekend i watch the EPL, i keep pondering on this. Are European footballers really innocent of Age Fraud as the media will like us to believe? Is age fraud really just an African or South American thing?
I just read where Lampard was blaming fatigue for his players inability to perform in the defeat against Wolves and I couldn't help but wonder where the fatigue stemmed from exactly. They last played on Saturday against Everton which gives them 3 solid days to rest, yet these guys say they are fatigued? How?
Football is played for 90mins split into two halves of 45mins with a 15min break between halves. Yet, they talk about fatigue? Mind you, they do not run marathons on the pitch, for the most part, they jog around, sometimes walk, they only move at full speed when going on counters or trying to stop one. So how cant these guys perform optimally twice in a week?
For context, I have a cousin who is a football freak. At 33, he plays on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings every week. But never says he is too tired to play the next week. How then can a professional footballer who has access to world class training grounds, clinically designed pitches, personalized training routine, top psychologists, top nutritionists and dietitians, top sporting gears that have been designed to bring the best out of them tell me he is too tired too play, unless his biological clock is ticking.
The local street footballers even play everyday on tattered boots, terrible ground with zero protection. Most of them do menial jobs, eat carbohydrate laden foods 80% of the time, have no rest, yet can play for 2hrs everyday.
How can a footballer retire at 33 to 35 saying he can't play a 90mins game anymore for once a week? I really can't wrap my head around this. Personally, I believe most of them may not be as young as they will like us to believe. Some use their real age or at most reduce it with nothing more than 2 years. Example, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was born in 1981 and he still plays at the top level (Italian Serie A) while Yakubu Aiyegbeni was born in 1982 and he retired from active football in 2017. |

What is the assurance that we will be all absorbed by the govt, how many courtrooms are there in Benin to accommodate 100 stenographers Leaving after 1 year may be hard if you're passing the tests. Perhaps if you have made up your mind to leave, why not forget the training? As for the number of courtrooms in Edo State, I wouldn't know but as you are in Benin, you will have an idea more than me that is in Abuja. One courtroom can have up to 3 reporters cos we are human and one day, someone may not come to work and again you can share days if you're more than one in a courtroom. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nafs Technologies by saintchibu(m): 5:22pm On Dec 04, 2019 |
I have received various messages on WhatsApp since morning and I decided to come here and give a few explanations here. First of all I was trained by this same Nafs in 2010 and I've been on the job since then. Nafs is affiliated to Stenograph LLC, USA. (stenograph.com is their site) The training is basically getting you to be able to record verbatim proceedings during Court session using Stenograph machines and system. You will be trained to write at the speed of 180 words per minute using machine shorthand. The training will last for at least 18 months and you may be paid a stipend during the training. During our time, we were paid 25k per month and mind you ours was for a Federal agency. At the end of the day, you will be placed on grade level 8 (degree holders) and level 7 (HND holders) of the civil service salary scheme. On the bond, we signed the bond for 2 years though some people still left few months after the training. The bond is about protecting the money Edo State government is paying Nafs to train you. You are acquiring a skill that you can use somewhere else free of charge and they will want to tie you down to justify their investment on you. The training comes in stages and you will write a test at the end of each stage. If you fail the test for a particular stage 3 times, you will be asked to go. But when you get to the speed of 120 words per minute it may be hard to ask you to go. On the job proper, it's an exciting field and a very tasking one cos you will be producing official Court proceedings on a daily basis. Anymore questions? |

They only said that on Thursday we should come again for proper briefing.. I'm not going anywhere near that place again.not signing shit! The money allocated for the training is 2.4million.. From my rough calculation, if we're 100 trainees of which I'm sure we are, a month we'll be paid 20k.. The 4yr bond is insane!!!!! You can't just back out the program.. if for instance you've worked for 2years under them and you want to leave, you'll pay back the salary you got during that period.. Anything contrary to that or you try to run, your name will be published in the newspaper and declared wanted! They said NO ESCAPE The salary after d training isn't up to 60k.. Health › Re: Stop These 8 Habits, They Damage Your Kidneys! by saintchibu(m): 12:40pm On Aug 24, 2019 |
MGab25: Written By The WebPamphlet
The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist, located just below the rib cage on each side of the spine. Every single day, the kidneys filter about 120-150 quarts of urine, waste and excess fluid to prevent the buildup of waste in the body.
The kidneys keep electrolyte levels stable and produce hormones that help regulate blood pressure, make red blood cells and keep bones strong.
If the kidneys sound pretty important, that’s because they are. Healthy kidneys are vital to keeping everything in the body running smoothly. Damage to the kidneys can often go unnoticed, so it’s important to take preventative measures to ensure kidney health.
Here’s a list of eight ( common habits that you might not realize are putting a lot of pressure on your kidneys and may lead to serious kidney damage over time.
ENJOY and SHARE!
1. Not drinking enough water
One of the important functions of the kidneys is to filter blood and get rid of toxins and waste materials that can harm the body. When you don’t drink enough water, those toxins and waste materials start to accumulate, eventually causing severe damage.
2. Consuming too much salt
The body does need sodium to work properly, but an excess of sodium can cause damage. Most people consume too much, which can raise blood pressure and put stress on the kidneys.
3. Holding urine
This might sound odd, but almost everyone does it. The urge often comes during a car ride, in the middle of a phone call, or when there isn’t a bathroom nearby. Holding in urine on a regular basis increases pressure, which can lead to kidney failure and kidney stones. When nature calls, it’s best to listen.
4. Taking too much coffee
Coffee contains caffeine, and caffeine can raise blood pressure and put extra stress on the kidneys, just as salt can. Over time, excess coffee consumption (or caffeine consumption, such as energy drinks) can lead to kidney damage.
5. Consuming too much protein sourced from animals
Consuming an excess of animal protein (especially red meat) increases the metabolic load on the kidneys. The more animal protein one consumes, the harder the kidneys have to work, which can cause stress and lead to kidney damage.
6. Taking too much alcohol
Consuming too much alcohol doesn't only damage your kidney but also damages your liver as well. Most people enjoy a glass of wine or a beer here and there, but more than one drink several times a week can raise the risk of kidney damage. Alcohol puts stress on the kidneys and the liver.
7. Abusing painkillers
Both over-the-counter and prescription drugs are commonly taken for aches and pains without concern about the harmful side effects that may arise. Excessive use or abuse of painkillers can lead to severe kidney and liver damage.
8. Depriving yourself of sleep
Chronic sleep deprivation is linked to many health problems, including kidney disease. The body works while sleeping to repair kidney tissue that may be damaged, so depriving the body of sleep makes it harder to heal.

Yea but Daily Post report is more accurate cos I know when this case was decided at the Federal High Court, Abuja by Hon. Justice I. E. Ekwo. Issue of not participating in the election never came up at the trial Court and the Supreme Court cannot dabble into what the trial Court did not decide. |

NgeneUkwenu: Conflicting judgements here and there.
Did Yayaha Bello participate in all the stages of the election, when he was awarded the Governorship seat after the death of the actual winner?
Did Rotimi Amaechi participate in all the stages of the election before he was handed the Governorship seat in Rivers State? That is not the ruling of the Supreme Court. Do not mind all these quack bloggers. Here is the decision of the Apex Court "A five-man panel of the court, in a unanimous judgment on Tuesday, upheld an appeal marked: SC/790/2019 from Abdulra’uf Abdulkadir Modibo also of the APC. The apex court held that aside that Usman forged his credentials, he also did not participate in the National Youth Service Corps scheme. The five-man panel of the court, led by Justice John Okoro, also ruled that Modibo, who came second in the APC primary, should be issued certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)."
