EducationRe: NANS Threatens To Shut Down Private Universities Over ASUU Strike by SaintChukz(m): 11:15am On Sep 06, 2013
jewelzizi: tongue I smell beef abeg try chop kpomo. Mtcheeeew I dnt know wat concerns private and public.
We are all part of a larger society, so don't narrow your thoughts along that scope of reason.
EducationRe: NANS Threatens To Shut Down Private Universities Over ASUU Strike by SaintChukz(m):
Kei144: This is stupidity at highest level. Private university students pay through their noses in order to get education. When they graduate, people look down on their certificates. And the only thing they gain, which is absence of strikes, the privileged public university NANS wants to take that one away from them.

University students are not the only youths in this country, just as ASUU are not the only workers in this country. If every youth in Nigeria begins to demand for government-subsidized university education as their rights and every worker in this country begins to do like ASUU, this country will become hell.
I see you still lack a basic understanding of the whole problem, do you know that if our public education were to be standard, there won't be a need to pay through your noses in those so called glorified secondary schools brandished as private universities? In Ghana Universities for example, that the rich and powerful often send their wards to study, do you know that the tuition for ghanian nationals is so low that it could even be termed free education. How does their government make up for that, its simple, they simply charge foreign students like Nigerians who study in their universities more and exorbitant fees to cater for their own. Again how come those Nigerians over there don't get to complain? Simple, it is because they feel the value/standard of education they get there is commensurate with the fees they pay. So the question now is why can't our own government do same? Instead of peddling the same lies for decades that government can't provide the most basic infrastructures and services such as quality education for her citizens. This is food for thought for everyone, or else we can't handle the BOOMERANG EFFECT.

priscaoge: And what τ̲̅ђe F*ck is ASUU's biz wif private UNI? #Smh. Let them shut the whole UNI in Nigeria so that we will know that there is nothing like UNI in our country. *Confused Pple*.
There is a brooding crisis in Nigeria's education sector and everyone should be concerned, hence we would all be victims of what i term the BOOMERANG EFFECT.
EducationRe: NANS Threatens To Shut Down Private Universities Over ASUU Strike by SaintChukz(m):
It really bothers me when i'm reading the kind of responses i'm seeing in this thread on NL. It is obvious most of us are as insentitive to the plight of the majority of Nigerian students(at least 50%) who are currently at home just the same way the FG are, are we going to deny that the children of the rich and powerful people in these private universities are not the same people who have ensured our education in this country is so backward? Let's embrace the reality and dissect issues pragmatically especially issues such as this one. I believe the NANS felt taking such an action would call to the attention, those who feel seeking to address burning issues in this country is not their burden to carry and by so doing, they are myopic to think that they are insulated from such ills that has befallen our society. For me, i see this action as an offshoot of the BOOMERANG EFFECT.

danielchioboy: Walk up to a very good and busy dredging company, apply for a dredge trainee position. That's it
But it isn't as easy and simple as you have posited, at least one would need to have some sort of recommendation from someone already inside to take such a bold step, and perhaps how i do exactly know the few Good dregding companies you talked about, any ideas? Finally, this is Nigeria, so it's very important one has some prior knowledge from an Insider.

aieromon: To buy Fellaini for over €25m looks like a waste of resources. I blame the average coach in all this. We asked for a creative midfielder and this is the best he could come up with.
Who do you blame? Was Torres the flop not bought for a more astronomical amount? Blame it on the money bags who often overrate Average players.

No, on the contrary, i think either Coentrao or Evra will be deployed in a more attacking role, more or like a replacement for Giggs.

i hope you won't kill yourself because my sources just confirmed that ManUtd didn't just get 1 but 2 players in the persons of Fellaini from Everton and Coentrao from R/madrid on loan. So go hug transformer.

ichidodo: Relax bro don't get all worked up off the name of a club that doesn't know its left from its right this transfer window. Man(ure) Football Club.
On the contrary, i'm not worked up at all, because i know ManUtd as a club must still end the season to the delight of its teeming fans, so why should i be worked up?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Football Transfer Deadline Day 2013 - Live Updates by SaintChukz(m): 10:39pm On Sep 02, 2013
ijeoma100: Not really if you think about it. Madrid have offloaded Higuain, Kaka and Ozil - the money raised from these as well as the reduced salary demands...Kaka alone was on nearly 200k a week...means that in net terms over a few seasons, Madrid might actually end up saving money.
But with the way R/Madrid spends you and i know that its Net income can never be equal to its Net Expenditure which leaves a certain gap deficit in their Balance sheet for the season/year.

CrazyGooner: "Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United's collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.

"Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits - supposedly the United "representatives" - coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.

"All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days
This can't be true...who are those Guys? Detractors at work..i guess. uhmmm Moyes is clearly in for it in his Job, because this definitely is the most difficult coaching job of his entire career.

ichidodo: Wonderful.Bureaucratic snag finally caught up with the Herrerra signing and he will no longer be a Man(ure) player.Yes!
You make it sound as if ManUtd doesn't have other options...and perhaps you opposition are always quick to refer to ManUtd as Man(ure), Please look up the meaning of Manure in your dictionary, then you will know it is something that enhances productivity as against your mild taking of the term.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Football Transfer Deadline Day 2013 - Live Updates by SaintChukz(m):
Imagine with all the economic hardship that Spain is going through, R-madrid is still able to fork out incredulous amounts of millions in Euros. Whereas, most of this money is financed through borrowed sources from the central bank of Spain, this in the larger picture means that the Central Bank gets to bail Madrid from its financial problems, while the Central bank itself is bailed by the ECB in Europe who themselves are financed by the richer countries. What i'm trying to say here is that one way or the other, everyone is fuelling Madrid's greed to speed furiously on the transfer market.

tlops: Oju ni fitila ara! The eye is the lamp to the body. The sense of sight will be preferred.

For those saying the sense of touch just for the sake of s.ex, well to start with, s.ex only require a fraction of your time, you can't even see, smell who/what you are having se.x with.

As for hearing and tasting hmmm. Hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil. It makes seeing without problem.

But thank God for making us whole and healthy.

Who is that yeye girl looking for who scam with her wayward British embassy site, Ode!
Your sense of touch is not just for the reason you stated there, it also helps to inhibit danger and harm.

dammyklein: i also got the mail...and have been mailing them from time to time concerning the program and they've been responding...they ask me to send my country affidavit oath to ensure am not gonna run away...after that they will send me a form which is free to participate.visa, ticket and every other expenses will be taken care of excluding hotel which they said i should do a reservation down to be sure that am not running away..am so damn confuse cus its either a scam or not..please i need more info about this incase you have also experience this before..thanks NL
You are about to get scammed if you don't cut your communication links with them. They are trying to entice you with vague promises of freebies, and see whether you'll still get interested. If you are, then that's when they will strike by telling you to send down money for your hotel reservation. If you still don't get this, then goodluck to you.
