Good day. So my mum was using a Tecno Spark 3 and the phone accidentally fell in water. She took the phone to different repairers and they said they would need to replace the phone's power IC or so but they could not salvage the phone.

The charging notification light comes on when the phone is plugged to a charger but the phone does not turn on. I'm considering buying a new panel for the phone and I think this should work.

I need advice on whether the phone can still be repaired or I should change the panel. I'm in Abuja.

Yeah, I saw that one too but the reason I chose Xiaomi Redmi 9T is cos of the 128GB internal memory, the 6000 Mah battery and awesome battery. It also comes with a good Snapdragon processor which is good for gaming, though I don't play games on phone

Just imagine buying a tecno phone for N500k. I am not crazy now. Why don't I use that money to buy an iPhone, Samsung, Nokia, Sony, Redmi etc at least a quality phone.

Personally, I consider the spark4, to be a better device compared to spark5.

The spark5 only have an edge over 4 in the battery Dept and the quad camera module.

I don't think her her budget can buy spark5. Spark 4 is ok

As a an aggrieved user of Xiaomi. I was silently looking through their thread for solutions to my phone's problem. When I saw a woman's comment. She was pained by the fact that she was unable to connect to their Tv at home. Meanwhile her husbands phone can connect.
This moved me to address the fact that once you buy a Mi Device you cannot access or connect to other device. You have been technologically isolated.



Even till now there was no solution to her problem. I fear this will cause problems since she made a great sacrifice to buy Mi Device only to be disappointed.

How many more people will go down while supporting this cause?

you shouldn't have used fuel, just few drops of water and a piece of cloth. The damage has been done
