Who do we blame for the way these young chaps have turned out? Their Parents or the Government? Can poverty be an excuse for this? Many questions crossing my mind. |
The Niger state government or local government where those schools are located have responsibility to provide teachers, infrastructure and learning aids for the school. If they don't want the school feeding program they should with the permission of the parents ask the FG to discontinue the programme. This should free up funds for other states that will gladly embrace it . soulpeppersoup: |
I have been trying so hard to understand why anyone will want AA to be president of his country. The crowd in the campaign rallies are neither on twitter, nairaland or facebook. And guess what? They are the ones who will really vote. |
Just a slip of tongue. Simple. |
Did Alh Atiku just say he is ready to die for the good of Nigeria? Oh how patriotic he could look (during campaigns though). smh |
Nice move for Atiku. Looks like a boring session though cos I see people dozing off. Looks like Peter Obi is sleeping in one of those pixs. |
Yes you may defeat PDP and APC, but not in the election o, In the debate...MAYBE. |
Given the two options available; My choice is clear. If we made so much money in 16years, we should actually see visible infrastructure that justify the the revenue that accrued from oil. For some, its should be anyone but PMB. For me it should be anyone but PDP. |
All of these in the agric sector alone? Great work. By the time the achievements in other sectors are rolled out, expect a round of applause from objective citizens. But one thing is certain, haters are still gonna hate. |

onyewec3: I still find it hard to believe dis guy story because I can't imagine a phD holder working in a bank @ 1st!!there's nothing in this report that says the guy is a PHD holder. U must hv got d story mixed up. |
He that has no sin should cast the first stone. Its amazing how many of us do not engage in any form of philantrophy at our own levels YET are quick to point accusing fingers to those who WE THINK owe the society philantrophy.Secondly, me thinks u don't hv to announce your support and help for the less priviledge on the rooftops, its politicians dt do so. We must help the poor and indigent as God blessess us, but then, wisdom is profitable to direct. Why for example will u carry bags of rice on your head, when u cld at least borrow a wheelbarrow for that purpose. 'What will others say'? Shld not always be the reason for how we do what we do.Do all the good you can in all the ways you can to all the people you can at all the times you can cos that's what we shall be remenbered for. |
Why make a big deal about part-time programmes in Nigeria. In climes like the United States, lots of people work and school-That's essentially part-time. All the NUC and perhaps the ministry of education should do is set the rules, the standards, the controls over every institution that runs part time programmes. Ensuring that the teeming youths in Nigeria gets adequate quality education is key. Yes, there may be specialised courses like medicine that need full residence in the college, however many other courses can be very well studied fulltime, part time, online etc. For examples, there are qualified accountants today, who have no first degrees but got chartered by rigorous personal studies. The Govt should do every thing possible to ensure that every nigerian youth who desires tetiary education can acquire same. |
Hmmm....I thought the CBN was still mourning the death of their precious staff. Well, maybe it really doesnt matter to SLS. He could still do this while mourning? Na wa ooo. |
Haters will always hate. The scripture is clear, 'study to be quiet and mind your own business'. But dont forget, failures are unduly suspicious about everything, jealous of any outstanding success and would not mind a lifelong career of blackmailing and maligning others. The Bishop is making impact in the lives of many, u dont have to be part of them...ok, jst mind your own business. |
U try, but doesnt sound genuine and convincing. |
u didnt drop ur contact. |
Its foolishness to make comments on what you know little or nothing about, its cowardice to engage in cheap blackmail. Little minds never cease to disturb themselves over things they cannot change. For all who have committed themselves to speaking against God's annointed, pls lets know what profit you are gonna make. Even King David had enough common sense to refuse to strike Saul when the opportunity arose, neither did he rejoice at the fall of Saul. If all you know about this servant of God is that he slapped an 'acclaimed witch for Jesus', then its clear that your mind is so small. And I do hope that all those making reckless comments God's annointed are trully perfect mortals themselves. Alot of times, Its better to 'mind what you say' than to 'say your mind'. Beware! |
