I believe Wike has grown to the height Pa Tinubu wanted, and it seems he's becoming too powerful so, there's a need to check him hence SIM conditioned to decamp to APC. Tinubu is just harmonizing them for his own good. Wike alone as it stands won't be able to deliver Rivers state for him so, he needs the state full structure as he now have it in Delta state. However, Wike has been given a public mandate to deliver Abuja based on which he will be rewarded. Wike is indispensable to Tinubu as it is now and Sim also will be very useful when it matters. Both of them will be rewarded based on the deal cut because Tinubu doesn't use and dump, he will say thank you well, that's why he has large political followership. In all this, the masses has nothing to benefit it's all about themselves and their pockets. Only God can say No to Tinubu 2027 victory. Forget all the noise of coalition, it will not stand. He is currently in all the parties including the spoken of coalition. He's a political Machiavelli. If money show, is just to leave the country for them. It is well |
Hemanwel:Two terms will be an issue of interest to the north, so, I prefer Jonathan/el-rufai ticket |
The only player that always pained me for because he didn't have much to show for his skills, dedication and contribution to the beautiful game is Austin JayJay Okocha. He's an uncelebrated legend. He brought football to every households in his days. A delight to watch. Keep enjoying yourself the great one |
In my own opinion, to get the polity heat up for jagaban a little, Atiku has to publicly declare his not running in 2027. With that, Wike has no one to fight in PDP again and PDP will start to settle. Then they bargain with Wike not to show any interest in 2027 but support party candidate. He's likely to oblige. With that the party will settle and get rhythm back. Then, throw Jonathan/El-rufai ticket. Also, force Seyi Makinde of Oyo state to decamp to another party but not APC. But, they need to get Obi not to contest. Then, 2031, PDP fly Atiku/Wike or Obi. Then work Makinde/Ndume ticket as a spoiler for APC. Trust me all the political calculation will change and who knows APC may lose and Nigeria will be delivered. |
I've been saying it. Tubaba knows what he's running after. That lady's connection for Nigeria and outside no be here. He's lucky to get her that's just the truth |

The north is now being jolted back to reality. You can't bully everybody everytime. OBJ was bullied in 2003, he merry-go-rounds it and won 2027. Jonathan was bullied in 2015, he couldn't survive reelection. Now, Tinubu is being bullied for 2027, it seems he's, responding back loudly with action, let's see how it pans out. But really this northern political class needs to be regulated. I don't like Tinubu, but, the way the north is going about it is seriously annoying. Why must it be you and your interest everytime? You're making the country uncomfortable for the southern people yet, you don't expect them to complain, who does that? If not for the insincerity of PBAT, the whole south would have rally round him, but, he's not impressed at all! But if he can regionalize or balkanize the nation, I will take him as the best to ever ruled this country |
The only thing on the agenda of the president of one country in West Africa is state capture and staying in office at all costs beyond 2027. International significant is none of his business. OBJ tried in this regard anyway during his tenure. Nigeria was well regarded then, but now... It is well |
I laughed in Kutemp dialect. Officially, INEC want to decamp to APC. Please professors of political science let there be a development of a course called Tinubu so as to know how approach similar events in the future. As per Nigeria for now it's in Tinubu kitty. Our political parties now are: APC, PDAPC, LAPC, SDAPC... Where are the opposition? |
TempleHouse:It seems you have more insight into the political drama. Please kindly enlightened us on why it is treacherous for Okowa to abandon Atiku. I really want to know what transpired between them |
I neither support Tinubu presidency nor his draconian policies, but, he will win 2027 election and fix his stooge in 2031 and Nigeria will still remain. All what the north is saying is a noise. Don't we see the response to them already with the gale of defection to APC in the south? Wait and see how north will recoil, be calm for a while and gradually start realignment. Their elites can not stand been rendered inconsequential in political game and that's the trajectory this political drama is going. So, north will support Tinubu in 2027 you can take that to the bank. Now concerning Nigeria masses, until we start taking our destinies into our hand by aggressively checking on our legislators, we are inconsequential in their scheme of things. We need to start recalling these members testing the process again and again until they realize that people have woken up. The power of the masses in democracy is their vote and their representatives. If who you send to represent you turns against you as we have it now, it renders your voted useless. To make it useful again is to use it against your representative, then changes start coming. But, are we ready for that? |
The polity is becoming more interesting. This was part of the seed OBJ sowed and I'm happy he's still alive to see it bear fruit. Many rots in our political space today are some of the seeds sown by OBJ specifically thinking PDP will be in power forever. Now he's turn letter writer as if he was better than them when in office. Lesson: when you are in power, endeavor to do the right thing rightly because power is transient but posterity is permanent. |
LegendHero:I still believe el-rufai is subtly working for Tinubu. It was when he decamped that the noise became rife. No News from his side for now but see what's happening? Politicians cannot be trusted |
This is really state capture! All big fishes in Delta state politics in one full swoop gbam in APC just like that! Can't imagine this happening. It's beyond my political forecast in that state. I need to dig to ask questions what's going on in that state? I don't believe Omo-Agege and Ned Nwoko threat. Sheriff is a sitting governor for crying out loud. What is Ibori interest? Did Wike played any role here? Where's Atiku before this happened? What is the political state of Okowa? Is Uduaghan also into this or left as mole in PDP to finalize the work? I believe in time to unveil things. |
NothingDoMe:Tinubu has consistently been offering them something. He has vastly increased the state allocation and is not asking them questions on why people are still complaining. I commented on a post that Tinubu is reaping off the masses to placate the governors for his own interests. Any governor that will not fall in line will be mercilessly dealt with. Wait, very soon you will see much more of them falling in line. In addition do you hear anything about LG autonomy again, where it is now have achieved it's aim, when need be, it will be pushed further. |
But IBB and Sani Abacha were handsome in their days. |
emkz:I love your comment. Very analytical. |
There's a difference between poverty and poor. Poverty is a state. The poor are the people affected by poverty. Meanwhile, poverty is not only related to money, it can be applied to other facets of life. Jesus hate poverty but loves the poor that's why he came to deliver the poor from their poverty and enrich them with abundant grace. I rest it here. |
Can it charge laptops? |
NoFoodToCook:You don't need a mentor for gambling. You need a mentor to learn business. Many people talk about it only few know it. Those that know it don't shout it. If you are the type that can learn it, and you get who to mentor you and you learn well. Poverty is bye to you |
If you can get a good mentor around you, consider forex trading. But if not, please, don't be deceived into it. |
The truth is there's a need for sanitizing this forum. The tribal and religious bigotry is seriously irritating. It may make the business dip now, a price they will pay for not acting on time but eventually it will come back strong and better. By the way since I joined nairaland for ages, the nothing has changed, can't we have a way of customizing our pages, block button, thump down for some comments etc |
atheistandproud:Haa, this is serious!!! |
Love your contribution to knowledge. You given out facts that are left for people to approve or disapprove. So let's have more like this coming. Thanks |
The southern governors+ Benue and plateau states are worse than a local government chairman in the Islamic northern states. Imagine! But, have you observed that no herdsmen killing locals in the Islamic dominated states of Kwara, nasarawa Niger and kogi? Why always christian dominated areas of Benue, Plateau, southern Kaduna? Then southern states? If we don't see this as an agenda and call it what it is and face it now, when the jungle fully mature ... Well, I pause for now |
I always laugh when I see people mocking Trump. The man came prepared. He knows what he's doing and see he's achieving American interest. Don't think there's no independent think-tank in America governance that are committed to America blueprint. A democratic president with the same goal will achieve the same thing only probably using different methods. Meanwhile American will laugh well and Africa will smell their anus when their economy start falling like pack of cards. Don't worry t-pain will tax more. |
I believe the people that did not rescue her is not any hatred for LGBTQIA trash but they knew what we don't know. There are many things in the story indicating gang members handiwork. In a country where drug deals are rife, probably anyone that try rescuing her will even crossover before her. The media is just being clever by half in trying to whip up sentiment for trans. They know what really happened. We are still human irrespective of your orientation even though I detest this trans stuff. |
This coming from such a figure like this speaks volumes! Imagine what the height of northern elites is saying! I have been saying it, the only hope this country has to develop is to break. Nothing good can happen to this country as it is cramp up like this. Can't just stop imagining what this man just said! |
Funny enough, I'm predicting Arsenal vs Inter Milan final. While I'm tipping Arsenal for the title. Everly YNWA |
It is PDP I blame. Instead of the people that matters there to stand up and take decision for the betterment of the masses, they were busy about their selfish interest. Now see what befall them and the country at large! Imagine a an illegal occupant seating on the judgement seat over the fate of the legal occupant on an issue no one knows. I hope Fubara will not attend and he should submit his resignation letter ASAP. He should leave in his own terms and not on their term. With that he can recontest and win and do a single term. So the world will see how they dance naked into the market square. |
