1. A 17-year-old is quite old enough to make decisions on the contraceptive method of her choice. Children younger than that would require consent from their parents before getting such procedures done. And more importantly, I believe those procedures are legally accepted forms of contraception.

Implications of what exactly? Children getting birth control should be normal by now. What I am more interested in is why you are not incensed by the fact that the so-called discipline from her teacher is likely the cause of the bleeding?

One of the reasons the old are sitting tight on power. The youth in Nigeria political space has shown themselves to be worse than them. Imagine from Salisu Buhari to OUK to Dimeji Bankole to Yahaya Bello to that rep member from the east that want to make someone disappear to Elisha Abbo that slapped a woman in public place to this one that is misbehaving among many others.
The youth should get matured, we need not just a replacement but better replacement for these aged men.

Lol! Atiku did not inherit anything, the cult following in the north started with Mallam Aminu Kano, then it moved to Shehu Musa Yar Adua, then to Buhari. If you look closely these people were not very wealthy but they cared about their people and commanded tremendous respect. Atiku does have this, he is a money bag willing to buy the people as such he doesn't commanded as much influence and respect. Look closely at most of Atiku's alliance, they are more with the south than the north.

Seems many desperate politicians that can't live their lives without being getting juicy money from government purse are the majority. When the time comes to choose the VP and the presidential candidates, if they choose atiku and obi (which happens to be formidable) respectively, that is when their true colours will come out. Best bet is for them to play a smart one against atiku because he believes no one is greater than him in that formation and will always get away with anything. Same with el rufai, but power play will still follow and many will be disappointed. Is it not Nigerian politicians? Very untrustworthy fellas.
Their method to win the next election will likely use students force and youths to instigate against the current regime and attack them in anywhere they campaign and to use their foot soldiers to destroy anything APC, but I don't think APC will release power easily like that. It will be master of all rigging and all of these collision will disintegrate easily if they fail. Then do they have matching money against APC that is in power.? Many citizens shouting now will still collect money from the highest bidder during the election and keep quiet. It's not gotten to their turn to get the piece of the cake. A southern presidential candidate is the deal for them, but it won't happen and that will be their albatross. Then, they will start shouting rigging up and down.

Let them feel the real pulse of the people and combine their presidential ticket along people's interest.

I would have love to see a new political party to challenge this man.
With this, I don't see the coalition really serious about winning the election, many issues will start rising genuinely because the party was hijacked which would not have been if it happens to be a new party.
Hope they know PDP will field a candidate, LP will also field one too. Don't write off the dividing effect of these parties. Remember it's only the masses that's bothered about governance, what concern these people is power and politics which is all about interest.

In most cases, people that are competent knows what they have invested into themselves and has drawn a personal goal for themselves in which working in an establishment makes them add value to the system. The inability of the boss to order them around at their whims and fancies make the boss tag them disloyal in most cases. Meanwhile the incompetent ones complement their incompetency with loyalty. One appeals to your logic, the other one appeals to your emotions. Loyalty is more compensated than competence that's why there's eye-service everywhere.
It's difficult to judge loyalty and disloyalty logically so, it's a personal thing. I've seen the extreme of both sides practically and I can bet many so called loyalty are just emotional manipulation on the boss for personal reasons.

Btw, loyalty over competence is the reason Nigeria is like this and will continue to remain like this.

I'm not clapping for FG or Tinubu led administration, but one thing is sure, Benue massacre doesn't start in 2023, it has been a perennial issue. What is the SGF doing who is a former governor of that state?
Benue and Plateau cases will require more than kinetic approach. There must be a little disclosed matter behind this perennial case. Let all hands be on deck to solve the issues in these two states.

I don't like Tinubu's government but this one was in order.
For those criticizing his choice of words, remember this man was a former governor, a former senator, he was available first hand and not told the story, in fact I doubt if Ken Saro Wiwa was not one of his partners in struggle, he has retinue of lawyers working for him and with him. He knows what only few people know about the event, government bureaucracy, and the emotional sentiment attached to it.

Next thing I will expect him to do is to attend to what they were agitating for that led to their killing.
