saintopus:Very economical, no tithe or offering of any kind. Few pieces of cola nuts, local gin will do. In some culture you only need salt water. No expences to be paid to lawyers. Its effectiveness in most towns and villages are instant and without failures. |
Not until the black man decide to go back to the core Africa Traditional Religion there maybe little progress. If our politicians are mandated to take their oath of office before a shrine and not the Bible or the Quran, I think most of the problems of corruption would have been a history. |
What befall a father, shall befall a daughter.!!! |
Things are rapidly changing now you know. Gone are the times when certificates mean nothing to contestants, now, they are important. People have started asking questions. So it is with political debates too. It will come to a point in our history when ordinary village youth elections will be highly credible involving document scrutiny and high intellectual debate. We owe it to GEJ |
Demdem:As clueless and slowpoke as I am, I know that boycoting a debate is not good for a high profile person, filled with intergrity and epic cluefullness like GMB. Things are rapidly changing you know. Gone are the times when certificates mean nothing to contestants, now, they are important. People have started asking questions. I think for APC to return to the part of intergrity, they should just do the needful by allowing GMB attend the debate. They should not pile up mediocrity after the Certificate saga which put their candidate in bad stand. For posterity, and good governance the debate should go on. |
Caseless:The universities our politicians are stealing our monies to send their children to India, Malasyia, Ghana etc, are they better than our schools here? |
Nigerians do not need much Economic and Financial Analysis to govern. All Nigerians need are very simple. 1. Provide us 24hrs light to do our business. 2. Build hospital so that we can send our children and wives to when they are sick 3. Build us good roads or rail lines to enable us transport our goods and services to where we want. 4. Provide us with water. 5. Build schools so that we can send our children to. I do believe that Nigeria is the simplest nation to govern unlike Europe and America that their agenda is to conquer the world and send astronaut to Mass. For me, I have seen an improvement in the past Goodluck Administration unlike in the past ones. 1. Benin-Ore road has been fixed 2. All states of the nation now have Fed. Universities 3. Trains are back. 4. Niger bridge under construction. 5. East-West road now motorable. Area to focus on. 1. Security 2. Unemployment of youths. 3. Hospitals. Nigerians are hardworking people!!! |
The funny issue is that most persons shouting out loudest online do not even have a PVC. It is more easier for many to vote online because of phones. But it may not be so in the real world. |
Aksonman:I never thought of this. Very good observation. |
I rep ECKANKAR : The religion of the Light and Sound of God |
Nigerians do not need much macroeconomic and statistics to prove a point. I did not see the following during OBJs time even though they call him slowpoke and clueless 1. Train 2. New Fed Universities 3. Benin-Ore road These are the few I have noticed!!! |
olas24u:Poor Gen. Okar, he intend to correct the failure of Gen. IBB, but did not succeed.! |
Nigeria will only get better and better!!! GEJ 2019.!!! |
kaycid77:You have said it all!!! |
If it is a PDP gov, the sky would have fallen. |
publisher:hahahahaha!!!!! |
FastShipping:Why? I am talking based on previous experiences such as Dennish Cartoon saga that claimed some lives in Nigeria for a cartoon that was drawn in far away Denmark!!! |
It will not take much time for killings to begin in Kano in solidarity. |
I love slowpoke is that a name for the latest icecream? |
lolababe331e:I know that at a point during millitancy in the Niger Delta, he visited the creeks many times. |
mrvitalis:My question is if bigger projects such as health centres, schools, monorail, etc, all funded by Internally Generated fund and monthly allocation from the budget and never require loan from FG, is it the provision of a small borehole for a community that will require a loan? We should be very careful of what we support because of politics ooo!!!! Let us all Call a spade by its given name so that posterity will judge us.!!! |
epicure:Is building schools part of cluelessness too? Just want to know cos I have forgoten its meaning! |
mrvitalis:I just want to know how much it cost to provide a small water borehole for a community of lets say less than 2000 persons? Will that also cost more than providing a health centre for the people? Can 't the State Budget fund that simple project which many private homes all have it in PH? Lets assume Okonjo Iweala, and GEJ are frustating Amaechi in getting a loan, for a simple borehole for a village? We should be very careful of what we support because of politics. I am from Rivers State. |
In another news, :How Chf Alex Ekweme children unanimously thanked GMB for imprisoning their father " Fia GMB!!!! Useless journalism!!!! |
When they say CHANGE, they do not mean a change in Sound Political leadership qualities. But what they mean is a change in personality. To them "APC ", a change in sound leadership qualities is inconsequential. Little wonder therefore such failed projects carried out by these PDP wastes are negligeable. |
Noble11:Me too, am tired of the word clueless. They should go find another word. |
tbaba1234:In NL, I will agree with you. However, in reality it may not be so. |
NEWBIN:Lol, but it is the truth na!! , lets I forget no expensive cloths needed. Infact in some shrine you do not need to wear even common slippers |
starlingbawa:To which extent? |
Realist5:Thank you spacebooking |
Obasanjo’s criticism will make Jonathan work harder, says Fani-Kayode AGAINST the backdrop of its declaration of support on Tuesday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to explain to Nigerians its connections with the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND). PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement yesterday said while the onus lies on the APC to choose those to work with in its quest for power, “the explanation has become necessary following the public reactions and concerns trailing the statement by MEND backing APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari. “What exactly does APC have in common with MEND? Why do they want to resurrect it? Nigerians want to know. Are we also expecting a similar statement from insurgents in the north, which initially named General Buhari to lead the dialogue between them and the Federal Government? “Nigerians are indeed worried by these developments. We therefore, urge the APC to come out clean and explain to the citizens what they have in common with these groups, especially given the statement by their flag bearer, after the 2011 elections, that the “dogs and baboons will all be soaked in blood.” The party also blamed the opposition for failing to assist government in prosecuting those they accused of sponsoring terrorist activities in the country, while also declaring that it would continue to respect former President Olusegun Obasanjo notwithstanding his comments against President Goodluck Jonathan on the latter’s style of administration. Director, Media and Publicity of PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode who made these disclosures at a press conference in Abuja yesterday said that Obasanjo’s hard stance would spur Jonathan’s administration to more positive actions. “First of all President Olusegun Obasanjo also accused Tinubu of misappropriation of funds and corruption in his book, he also accused Gen Buhari of committing some of the most heinous crimes against humanity over the years; they are contained in his books. Obasanjo also spoke about what he believed was the misuse or whatever of foreign reserves. He never used the word misappropriation. What I will say about that is that our leader and father, former President Obasanjo is certainly entitled to his views and we thank God that we have a president that welcomes the views of everybody about everything and anything. They can live in the comfort of that fact that nobody is going to be too hard on them in terms of responses. We continue to learn from Obasanjo and we continue to believe that he is a loyal party member that he claims to be, we believe that he is a loyal party member. We sincerely hope that what he has said is an attempt to make us better in the future.” On the issue of Jonathan’s alleged lack of capacity to prosecute persons behind the Boko Haram terrorists, Fani Kayode said the opposition failed to produce evidence to help in prosecuting those they accused of backing Boko Haram. He wondered why the leaders of the APC waited for former Borno State Governor, Alli Modu Sheriff, before they began to raise allegations of supporting Boko Haram against him. He also said that PDP’s insistence that general Muhammadu Buhari and some other leaders of the APC were supporters of Boko Haram arose from the public statements those APC leaders made in the past, adding that there was no further evidence. “The fact that we have said that Buhari made suggestions or statements in the past doesn’t mean that the government has evidence against him. But the APC has spoken against the proscription of the Boko Haram and if they take over, they will lift the ban on the sect.” On the issue of capacity to fight corruption, Fani Kayode said: “If you really want to talk about corruption you need to look about people around Buhari. I will also want them to point at themselves. Look at the record of Bola Tinubu at Lagos State; was it a corruption free administration? Look at the record of Amaechi of Rivers state who has closed down the courts in the state simply because he doesn’t want action taken against him. For the last few months no courts has operated there. http://theguardianmobile.com/readNewsItem1.php?nid=39540 |
